Seth and Branden mounted a new Samsung T.V. for us today (85 inch) and a Vizio (46 inch).We were unsure of the specifics (height placement etc.). I trusted that to Seth as he is the professional. We are very happy with the work that they did. They programmed our remotes for us.We will be using them to mount another television in a bedroom soon.If you want a professional, fast and accurate job done, don’t hesitate to give Seth a call and schedule an appointment with him.Seth called a day before to confirm the scheduled time as well as showing up on time.Thank you guys! After shopping around and getting multiple estimates for my home theater in Santa Fe, it was very clear after talking with Seth on the phone that this was the guy for the job. He is incredibly knowledgeable, has great recommendations, explains every detail and justifies his equipment and hardware choices. The whole process from idea, design, installation, was very easy and enjoyable. Seth really listens to exactly what you want, works within your budget, and when it came time to do the install it was done very professionally, very clean, and the end results blew me away. Not only did Seth drive out multiple days for installation from ABQ, he also came back again in the evening after I had already been using my home theater for a few weeks to really dial in all the sound and picture, to make sure everything was top notch. I really appreciate the level of customer service provided at every touch point. One thing I really look for is communication and how responsive someone is. Seth was always available, always answered his phone, and provided tons of daily email updates to let me know exactly when to expect equipment to be shipped, keeping me in the loop the entire time. More importantly, the end result is amazing! I’m using my home theater every day basically and listening to my record collection with a whole new appreciation for the sound. I would definitely hire Seth again, and in fact, I already have him estimating another project to get the speakers in my house operational again. Totally recommend SmartVolt AV! Wonderful work, super impressed.

Seth and an assistant installed the mount for a 75" TV in my living room and they did an excellent job. They arrived early (not too early) and worked quickly, but carefully and thoroughly. They answered all my questions, were very attentive to details like labeling cables and even my little dog loved them! If (when, more likely) I need some help with another home AV project, I will definitely reach out to Seth and SmartVolt. If you're looking for some help in mounting a big TV, look no further.

We recently hired Smartvolt for a surround sound system in our living room and speakers throughout the rest of the house and man these guys know how to get it done! I had no idea speakers could sound so good… it might just sound better than the theater.  We purchased an OLED TV by LG, speakers by Focal, and they put in a Control4 smart home system to make the system easy to use. I simply cannot say enough superlatives about SmartVolt. On my first phone call, Seth patiently listened to what I wanted/needed and set up a visit to my home for an appraisal. During the visit, he again listened intently, gave answers and advice. He followed up, exactly as he said he would, with a proposal that fit our stated budget. We opted for the proposed work. After a few short weeks, during which he kept us informed of status via email, Seth and Alan performed the work. We LOVE the product. Nothing extravagant but just what we wanted. Unlike a competitor in Albuquerque that we initially contacted, Seth and SmartVolt caters to their customer's needs, not theirs. If you need to home sound system, call SmartVolt. You won't be disappointed.

They came and installed a new stereo system almost a year ago. We were not able to get the center channel speaker at the time. I made the mistake of paying in full. I have been waiting for a year for the speaker. For the first six months or so Seth would return my calls for status checks. Now I'm not getting any response to multiple calls and emails. I am out $1,200 with no sign of the speaker. I wouldn't use Seth again.

Seth was phenomenal to work with. His knowledge and expertise in his field is incredible. He’s prompt, profession, experienced, and HONEST!!! He had every opportunity to upsell me a product that I had already agreed to purchase, however during installation he realized it was excessive for my system. He brought it to my attention and recommend I not buy it. Not purchasing this item saved us a good amount of money but more than that it showed me Seth was an incredibly honest businessman (goes a long way in my book). We are extremely happy with our instal and will continue to use Seth for all our in home audio needs.

Seth came over last week to survey a job I wanted done on my surround sound speakers. He came over and quickly sized up the situation and made an appointment to come back with the supplies he needed to accomplish the job. He came over yesterday and did a great job of hooking up my surround speakers and setting up my Denon receiver. Very professional and very neat. Highly recommend Seth and SmartVolt AV!

I called Smartvolt av after visiting their web site and saw that they do flat screen installations. We then set the date to install both sets. This was in July. I already purchased both mounting brackets and two power outlet relocator kits and notified Smartvolt that I had this hardware. The first TV was mounted, and the relocation kit worked. Seth installed the 2nd TV but ran into difficulty because the relocation kit was missing some parts. We rescheduled the completion of the 2nd TV installation until I got a replacement kit. Upon receiving it, Seth came back and then ran into another problem very quickly stating that he needed a different type of relocation kit which he had to order because it would work better in that particular wall. I had to call him to find out if his relocation kit came in as I did not hear from him. We scheduled another appointment to finish this job. He was a no show. After a couple of weeks we rescheduled. He cancelled stating that he had a family emergency, I called many times after that leaving voice mail messages on his phone, but with no response. I emailed him, no response. I even emailed Smartvolt's customer service department. Nothing. I paid for a complete installation, but this job is not complete. What is complete is the absolute lack of response from Seth, who left me with a hole in the wall. Even after my most recent call I'm still being ignored. I cannot recommend Smartvolt, because what I remember most about this experience is being deliberately ignored and paying for it.

He updated all of our existing household music and entertainment systems; including stereo, speakers, lighting and fountains.The new apps are great for controlling all the technology and media of our home. UPDATE: Had to change my review on this one. After contacting Seth and scheduling an appointment to have another tv mounted, they no-call/no-showed. I sent a quick text asking if they were running behind schedule, which was ignored. Way to lose a customer, guys.ORIGINAL REVIEW: Seth provided a quick response to all my inquiries, put together a professional and reasonable estimate after gathering all the info, and arrived exactly when he said he would.He and Brenden mounted my tv exactly where I wanted it, ran all the necessary cables, and even reconnected all my devices afterwards. They cleaned up all debris from the installation and checked to make sure I was happy with how things turned out. Highest possible recommendation!

Seth started out doing a great job at my house and was always professional in replies. Unfortunately, there was still more work to complete and this is where Seth has seriously disappointed. I was originally told by Seth that he had a large job on his books and if I could be a bit patient it would take him about two weeks to get back out to wrap things up. Well, we are going on about 9 weeks now. and still no final on the project.The number one thing that is most disturbing is that in spite of my numerous attempts to get an update on scheduling I have not gotten a return call. At one point I did finally receive a text indicating that he would be out the following week on a particular day and he no showed with no communication as to why not. He may be out of business but regardless it is totally unprofessional not to get some form of status update on a project that cost thousands of dollars.

Wow, is all I can say about the professionalism and the quality of sound from SmartVolt AV. A client of mine used them to install a theatre in their new home and after listening to the system I set up an appointment. They came out and did not try to push anything on me, they simply did some measuring of my space, asked some questions to find out what I wanted, then later had an estimate for me and a time frame which they stuck to! The system was not as expensive as I thought it would be and to make sure I even called around however no one else seemed interested in my needs, they just seemed to have one system they wanted to put in. I love coming home and escaping from everyone and everything even if just for a couple hours. Thank you Seth Gatewood, and SmartVolt AV.
