I absolutely love this little pet store!!! I meant to write this a few weeks ago when I took my puppy to get a bath. The staff is awesome they are all so nice, it was my first time in and I didn't know that it's best to make appointments I guess especially on Wednesdays but they fit my puppy in and when she was done with her bath they gave her a couple treats and lots of love and my puppy got so happy again even though she had just been scared and upset about the bath they completely turned her mood around :) we got her a big bag of chicken necks for a great price and the other day when I went by to get some more I discovered they have big bully sticks for really good price! I had been getting them at PetSmart where they are expensive and really small so I will be shopping for all her treats at Simply Diego's from now on! Also got these adorable little knit cat toys stuffed with catnip for less than 3 bucks and my cats went crazy over their new toy <3 great little place to spoil your pets and surprisingly affordable!

Wow! I will now keep a standing date here to wash my 65 pound english bulldog! The hydraulic tub was a blessing! The lighting is great- I can see where he needs scrubbed. They had everything I needed! The hypoallergenic shampoo and anti itch are perfect for his sensitive skin! He didn't even mind the blow dryer! At some places it's so stressful' for him and me! This was laid back and everyone was so nice even giving me a review of where everything was as my first time there! So I almost don't want to review to keep this my very own secret! But highly recommended!

Great place for pet supplies. I really like the self-service dog washing stations. It's cheaper than the groomer but still a great option for taking care of the pups they have an elevating tub, a blow drier, and they provide shampoo and conditioner that is pet friendly. My dogs smell great, and I don't have to clean the bathroom at home after bathing them!

We love Simply Diego’s! We use their self service dog washing stations. The staff is very helpful, they have a great selection of dog treats and toys, and Diego himself is a great host. 🐶

Awesome place! We take our dog for their self-service bath and everything is set up in a way that makes it easy and comfortable for dog and person. All employees are very nice, welcoming, and helpful. Nice selection as well.

We have had tons of positive interactions and experiences at Simply Diego’s. We use the DIY bath regularly and have been extremely happy with the schedule, cleanliness and overall use of them! We also get our dogs favorite treats and dinner here for reasonable prices, leaving us no reason to go to the big stores if we can help it. Simply Diego’s is simply the best!

Great local pet store with a DIY dog washing station for a very affordable price. It makes it much easier to wash my dog than trying to do it at home. He thinks he’s getting tortured the entire time but loves being done with it and getting a treat. The staff are always lovely people.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.....I was telling one of the great employees (may of been the owner?) about how I make all the food for our dogs and she gave me some great information on supplements to add to the food. Their prices are very fair and I would highly recommend!

Great selections of food for dogs and cats that are higher in nutrients. Very helpful and it was their anniversary so they threw in a few extra treats for my cats. Also, they sell plant based litter which is better for the environment inside your home. (No silica)

i discovered Simply Diego's this morning after coming back from a 9 days camping road trip with my dogs and I was in need of a place to take them to get a bath! They answered right away with same day availability. I took one of my dogs down there and the place and service is great. I was also able to get some calming treats for the 4th of July fireworks as well as other treats for my girls. We will go there for now on for treats, amazing services and bath! thanks you. 🐾

DIY Dog Wash is always running behind. Waited almost the entire 30 min slot (I had both baths reserved) for the second one to open (this happens every time). And again, for the numerous time had to cram both dogs in one bath. Got soaked neither dog got dry, had to take one outside wet (January). Staff could care less. Honestly, the young crew here knows 0 about customer service when it comes to bath scheduling. I.e. Simple communication about how far they were running behind. I don't understand why a procedure is not implemented to solve this problem instead of the "there's nothing we can do" attitude.Be aware that they accommodate baths at the last minute that throw the entire scheduled baths off. People that have time commitments and therefore have to schedule baths should not go here.I see you have now changed your response to me after another person has made the same exact complaint. You've lost four customers and counting. Your new response is interesting and completely new information in terms of making an appointment for a dog wash regardless of what day it is.

I've always heard wonderful things about this place and I am so glad that I finally made my way over! In April I adopted a rescue dog from the city and although she was so malnourished when we got her --she has proven to a be a little picky! Haha. Out of desperation I got her on some decent dog food but was really hoping to move her onto something more nutritious. Long story short, I've gotten to know Ty and Amabel from having to keep returning bags of dog food that she just wouldn't eat. They were always so encouraging and supportive! They also were able to compare ingredients from her old food and gave me some professional recommendations AND WE FINALLY FOUND A NEW BRAND SHE LOVES! If I had not gone in so head-strong the first few times thinking I knew exactly what she'd want I probably would have found her new food quicker. They were always ready to offer me any advice since the moment I stepped through the door. They never pressured me and they always helped me feel empowered in my choices. They are truly gems of humans and I can't wait until she become more acclimated to stores so I can bring her in one day so she can meet the people who are really making her life so much better. :') Thanks, Simply Diego's! I absolutely love simply Diego's. Probably the best pet store in Albuquerque. They have high quality food, self wash dog washing stations, great customer service, great customer loyalty programs, everyone is extremely friendly and always very knowledgeable about even the smallest details of their products. Their prices are reasonable, it's always a joy going there. I would give them more stars if I could.

We are on the road and desperately needed to bathe our Springer with her medicated shampoo. With advice from our camp host we booked a time online with Simply Diego for the same day! Super easy. Very nice wash booth with a lift for customer comfort, nice gentle water nozzle and adjustable hair dryer. What a super experience! And the shop is so very well stocked that we could not resist picking up a new collapsible dish, leash, and special dog treats. Very kind and knowledgeable staff! Check this store out if you have a pet! You will be glad you did!

Diego's is simply the best place to find extremely knowledgeable help when choosing the right food for your pet! My dog Emmie is a regular customer & knows exactly where her favorite treat is, and brings it to me! They answer all my questions, and do everything they can to help me feed my extremely picky girl. I have been purchasing products and utilizing the DIY dog bath for years. After trying a few other DIY's, I will not go any where else.The owners and staff are always friendly and willing to help or suggest products that you may have questions about.The bathing stations are separated, each having a locked gate to keep your fur friend from escaping, well supplied with towels, shampoo and conditioner. The tubs are always clean and I really like the fact that they are adjustable to height taking away the strain of leaning over into the tub.I recommend Simply Diegos to others all the time.

Dear Roberto,I want to address your rsponse to Pamela Borden. I was the other person who came to assist in washing the two dogs in question. We arrived right on time. I know this because I looked at my cell phone as we walked in to Diego's. Plus, your employee started a digital timer when we put one dog in the first tub. We purposefully booked separate tubs because it is a challenge to wash two medium-sized dogs in one tub. In addition, it is more stressful for two dogs to share such tight quarters. (There is only one hose.) While we appreciate the disount that is offered for DIY baths on Wednesdays, there is an inherent problem because it is difficult to wash and dry a large dog in a thirty-minute period. This was the case in the dog-washing station next to us. I looked at my phone to check the time again, and the neighboring dog was still being washed/dried at fifteen miutes after the hour. By the time this dog left, the station still had to be cleaned by one of your emplyees. In short, there was little verbal communication and the other station was not ready until almost thirty minutes into our scheduled time. Please re-check your camera footage, which will confirm my account.If a member of your staff had communicated that it would take so long for the other tub to open up, we would have had the option to wait. However, this was never made clear to us. Of course, we could have waited ten minutes--taken a walk outside. We are not that impatient. Also, at the end of this experience, one of your staff members could have apologized for the inconvenience. Instead, the half-price was only extended after I lodged a complaint. Instead of reacting to a posting in such a defensive fashion, the ideal scenario would be to contact a long-term customer by phone--to try and make it right. Clearly, you are a dog lover. However, the manner in which your Wednesday bathing situation is handled is difficult for dogs and owners alike. Good customer service involves processing all feedback.Sincerely,Jane Sinclair

I called at the last minute to get one of my dogs in for a wash because she'd gotten poopy butt. They were able to fit me in for a 2:00 p.m. appointment and the wash facilities were clean. I really like this store and have previously bought dog food and treats there for my dogs.

Just got done giving my big dog Alley a DIY bath at Simply Diego. It was wonderful!! Different shampoos & conditioners, scrub brushes, towels, bath that goes up or down so no hunching over and a big blow dryer!!! $20.00 ( for a big dog cheaper if little) It was well worth the money. Alley & I will be back! Thank you Simply Diego!

Phenomenal customer service! I just adopted my best friend from the shelter. Took him there to give him a bath, next thing I know, they’re giving him all this treats for free! First time going. Staff very pleasant and helpful with food selection as well as showing me the wash facilities before making my appointment. I took my dog to the self wash. I was a little apprehensive but after some hesitation on my pup's part got him in the tub with the aid of the hydraulic lift secured him and used the shampoos and conditioners provided. Good experience for my pup and me! You get a total of 45 minutes to get'er done. Wednesday is 10.00 day. I'll be back
