I ordered a curio cabinet to match a dining room table and the one in the showroom that I loved had shelving dimensions that wouldn’t work. No problem! Norma asked what dimensions I needed and I purchased it. She even called me to firm up the dimensions I needed and I sent her photos of my existing cabinet. I love my new cabinet; it’s exactly what I wanted. Thank you Norma!

Hands down my favorite store in ABQ. The absolute best quality rustic furniture. I have purchased multiple pieces of furniture as well as many accessories and simply love each and everything I have bought here. I have been shopping at Rustic Home for several years. We are always pleased with the service that Norma provides to all her customers. We love the products that she sells in her beautifully decorated store. We have 8 different furniture items that we enjoy in our home. We have several furniture pieces that were custom orders that Norma has provided help with to insure that we will love the pieces. Norma will go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The quality of her items are outstanding. They are sturdy and one of a kind. You won't find these items in any chain store. We will continue to shop with Rustic Home and enjoy visiting with Norma. You don't feel pressure to purchase anything and she will always make you feel welcome.

My husband and I visited Rustic Home for the first time looking for a new bedroom set. The person we were working with was friendly and was helping us piece items together and answering our questions. The prices seem reasonable, however, when the owner arrived the mood changed for us. Like we were in her way. She wasn't too friendly with us. And when I asked her some questions about what is kept in stock on her website if we had to wait to make a purchase in a few months she was short with me. We obviously won't be back. The owner should learn some customer service techniques from her staff, be a little more friendlier.

My wife and I decorated our new home with a lot of items from Rustic Home. We love the quality of the items and have especially loved working with Norma. She's always been very sweet to us and especially to our two pups. We love going in to visit her and her pup Daisy.

Great little shop. I've been looking for some high quality accent items for my home. I found some very nice throw blankets and pillows here that fit my Southwestern decor perfectly! I loved the smell of the store so much I bought their incense too!

Stay Away!This shop has very attractive home furnishings if you like rustic or southwestern decor. However, I found the owner to be rude and possibly biased against racially diverse people. The first time I visited the store the owner ignored me and acted like it was an imposition to answer any of my questions regarding various items in the store. Her icy demeanor lessened slightly when I made my purchase and I left feeling embarrassed hoping that her behavior was just due to having a bad day (it happens to us all.) When I returned to the store a month later I received the same type of service. The owner refused to acknowledge me, was annoyed when I asked her a question regarding some sconces in the store, and rang up my purchase in silence without a "thank you, have a good day." What made the experience so hurtful was her friendly and talkative behavior towards the two other patrons in the store, both older Anglo women. Each lady would occasionally look at me with odd expressions and I felt that they too were uncomfortable with the owner's treatment towards me. I will never return to this store again and will encourage others to stay away as well. The owner clearly only wants clientele of a specific race and appearance.New Post: It is important to remember that this review is an account of my "personal experience" and is not intended to reflect everyone's encounter with the owner. If you had a different experience then that's wonderful for you. I did not have a pleasant time in the store and I don't think that it's appropriate to discount my feelings just because they differ from other patrons or to discredit me by suggesting that I behaved inappropriately, which I did not. If this review causes the owner to take steps to treat African American clients with the same courtesy as others then I consider my post a success.

My wife and I have been shopping at Rustic Home for 3 years and have never encountered any attitude or been treated rude in any way by Norma Jean. We have been in the store when people walk in and they are always greeted warmly and told to holler if they have questions. On the contrary we have been in the store and have seen and heard customers make outlandish requests and treat Norma in a rather rude way simply because she won't give them the price THEY want. Norma Jean is very reasonable and very helpful (even helps you load furniture), so I find it appalling that anyone would write such a negative review for someone trying to make an honest living.

Wow I loved the furniture here, so solid. I read the review here and had such a different experience with the owner, she was very friendly and made a special order for me. I have enjoyed her store and meeting her dog. I have bought three pieces of furniture and plan to buy the rest of my furniture here, one piece at a time, this furniture will be passed on it is so well built.
