Do not go here for grooming! Took my puppy here for a first time groom. Jose was his groomer. My puppy came back with many nicks and cuts. He wouldn’t let me touch his ears afterwards. He was SO thirsty when we got him home. I feel so guilty for taking him here. It was my first time taking a pet to get groomed and now I don’t feel comfortable taking him back here or anywhere. I’m now learning to groom him at home, but we’ve had to take it very slowly because he’s so scared of the clippers. I’m not sure what Jose did to my puppy while he was there, but I hope I can prevent future pet parents from going through what we did. He was also very condescending and insinuated certain things without asking, just assumed. The overall experience was horrible and it really affected how I see groomers as whole now.

They are well stocked with a variety of items for my aquatic and furry friends. The staff was patient and kind when we brought our brand new adoption in for socializing. I think they know we need the training time more than the animals do. : )

I had a difficult time navigating through all the different cat and dog foods, how they are stocked is confusing. I found a clerk to help find what I was looking for. Bought a 6 pound bag of cat food. There was an empty space on the shelving where I could have bought twice the amount of food for only $6 more. Maybe next time it will be stocked.Pleasant experience overall.

it's incredible how bad customer service is for grooming cats lmao. buckle in for a long review.You can tell how bad service is when you immediately look at the workers' name tag before the transaction even happens.The worker named Jessica immediately gave a bad attitude the moment I walked in with my cat. she was trying to find a reason not to groom her. saying, "This is my first time grooming cats." Isn't she supposed to be a professional? why are they hiring people w/o experience?next thing she asks about her grooming behavior or else they won't groom her. I tell her I have just adopted this cat literally days ago. she just stares at me before she sighs and finally decides to do her job, as this was NOT A WALK IN. next, I ask how long it will take, and she says about an hour.cue an hour passes by, and they call my sister. we live across town, and I start driving there, so it takes like 20 minutes or so. when I get there, she talks down to me and SCOLDS me as if I was a child, for being late. like I'm sorry I can't teleport the moment u call me ur highness. besides that, she lies to me and my sister. she tells my sister the $10 fee is for being late. she told me the $10 fee because my poor blind, old 15 yr cat was stressed. not miscommunication but lying for a measly $10 on her paycheck. Luckily, the manager refunded it, but that hardly matters.Jessica is a horrible person who hates her job and takes it out on clients and their pets. DO NOT RECOMMEND leaving your pet in her care.

75% of the employees are are friendly and helpful. I mostly go here to buy meal worms, super worms and wax worms for my bearded dragons. Always have enjoyed going to PetSmart. The Westside location is no different. Very good customer service and it always clean & orderly, a big job for such a huge store. Ordered online, waited 2 min for someone to bring it out, and was on my way with my purchase. Highly recommend.

In dire need of a remodel. I believe it's one of a couple stores in Albuquerque that have NOT BEEN remodeled. I go here only because of the pet hospital to buy prescription dog food and snacks.Smells of dog piss, has since 2013 when I started going there.REMODEL YOUR STORE ！

I've never had any issues at any location. Stores always clean and well stocked, people are nice, amazing selection, they seem to have a little bit of everything, prices seem decent, I'm just guessing because I haven't compared with online or elsewhere. They have a rewards program if you're a frequent shopper that might save you some cash over time, every little bit helps.

I had my dog, Sable groomed here today. It's the third time she was done and each time by a different groomer. All did a very good job. Sable is a standard poodle mix. Very friendly and used to being groomed so having different groomers is easy peezy for her.
