Went in for a fish related item tonight. A floating holding tank. Hadn't visited this location in probably a decade. Is the only one that stays open until 9pm. Mostly there just to see what they have available these days.Was near closing time (probably 30-40 minutes out). We walk in and are immediately told they will be closing. Okay cool. Understood.But, just as we walked into the fish department, the person working there turned around and angrily told us and another couple (who had clearly already been waiting) "This customer was the last one. Nobody else can buy fish."It was the attitudes and atmosphere within the store that made me absolutely refuse to buy anything anyways. Maybe, it was just a long shift or something, I really couldn't say.Oh, also of note, there was a very sickly thin baby horned lizard there that was left in a case with lots of crickets still remaining in the tank with him. I would guess they will probably be left in there until morning. Anyone who knows anything about lizards knows better than to do this.Needless to say, I won't be returning.Will be buying Amazon items over anything Petsmart related.

Not only do they abuse/kill lots of fish, but the people in the fish department give no help on keeping harder fish but won't explain what you need to do to keep them alive because they don't know. So when an experienced fish keeper like myself comes in to buy a "difficulty: intermediate" cleaner for my tropical gar tank, the stupid employee who knows less about fish than me has the audacity to tell me "good luck." I wish I got her name so I could report her. Shame

This last visit was very hard for me. I really like this particular PetSmart because they have a vet, Banfield and I was previously able to purchase RX cat/dog food for my sick girl Shiba. The reason for this visit was my cat Shiba was very sick and 16+years old and her body was shutting down on her. So I had to let her go July 19th 2023. I'm so sad. I came this visit to return the prescription food and another mail order that didn't make it in time for my girl. They asked if I would like a credit for the store. I got tears in my eyes and said I no longer have a pet😢. They went above and beyond what they could have or normally would have done in this situation. They didn't normally take returns for my 3 mail order products. But they did for me in this case. I am so grateful I didn't have to deal with returning the products after the fact. They were very kind and worked with me. Gave me a credit for all items I needed to return. The pictures were the last time I got to spend time with Shiba.

The store itself/Manager Val/check out folks ate all great but the grooming dept today (which was different from before) was a disappointment- we have taken my dog many many times regularly before with no issues but had not been back many months even though the grooming dept manager/everyone at the time was great and said that I can still bring my dog anytime etc.When we went this morning, no one I knew from before was there (all new folks), and the girl who checked us in was very abrupt, and wrote in a note to the form I had already signed that wasn’t accurate, and when I read it and told her that the note was incorrect, she was defensive and tried to keep the form away from me- I took it and scratched out her note and said I wanted to take a quick picture of it and she was very hesitant and had to ask the manager (??). Of course I and anyone can take a picture of the form I signed and I took a picture anyways.Then, when I went to pick up my dog the person checking me out tried to confirm payment first before bringing out my dog/before I even saw my dog and the results of their service. I always paid ahead of time anyways bc service was always good and I was ok doing it this time bc I’m not the type to argue over or refuse to pay for a simple dog wash even if they did a bad job.However, customers should know that they do not have to pay until after the service is completed, after they see their dog, and after the workers explain any alleged issues etc. once the customer is ok and employees should not require or push it/confirm until after. I didn’t like how they tried to make me pay first (even though I wanted to and was going to pay first anyways). Also employees should discuss any alleged issues on the phone as well - they don’t have to wait until customers get to the store after they paid. Everyone said all is ok too.The wash did not seem as good this time either… not like before.In any case, we will not be going back -we just tried it again today like a once a year thing bc we already have someone who comes to our house to wash my dog regularly (she was just out of the country this month) which is very easy, very convenient, and very good.

Varied selection of products for my cat. Find it ? odd that inventory varies so much by store given it is a chain. Store clean and generally easy to find items. Staff friendly. Plenty of parking though slight walk to lit by virtue of lot/plaza design.

Decent store but be careful… they charge a late fee if you’re late for a grooming appointment. Guess they can’t be lenientto someone who is heavily pregnant and just trying to get her dog groomed before this big life change.

First day of dog training with Alex Zvolanek, PetSmart on academy, was amazing. She worked on teaching me how to work with my puppy. Her technique and teaching methods are spot on!

Location clean. Workers friendly and helpful and MOST importantly, actually able to be found. I needed an employee 2 times this last visit and I quickly found one to help both times! We love PetSmart! Their rewards program is nice good too. Tons of choices for pet food! Pricing and advertising slightly confusing in store but overall, we'll keep going back.

I love visiting this place. Every time I come, I get at least one toy for my kittens. Staff is super friendly and I can always grab exactly what I need and leave quickly and efficiently.

They have really good customer service and make you feel welcomed. Definitely good stuff for pets or even to get a pet or adopt a pet. They just had take a picture day.. with Santa and your pet thought that was cool. Glo fish are great kids pets. It teaches you somewhat about fish. Great starter kit.

I love that this store still stays open until 9pm, and that the evening employees are great. I always go close to closing time, and the people who work on the floor/registers are always welcoming and helpful and friendly. The store is clean and usually well stocked. I will continue to drive past the Petsmart near my house, and to instead go to this location since it is more accessible and welcoming.

Get your dog trained here! Eddie is fantastic and will change your doggo for the better. We've only been to a few sessions and the results are life changing. It's also a good pet store and vet. Very professional. We have added birds, dragons, and rats to our family from here and never had any issues.

Manager Val is horribly rude he yelled in a customers face and tried to intimidate her & others! He has no customer service skills and is very aggressive! He yells at women in front of children and is so condescending and inappropriate Don't ever go here! Most horrible experience ever! Manager needs anger management!

It's the second time with Lexi, and I understand that I messed up on her appointment, however we were late to get her, and she was ready to get off work. The store itself is great- this review is specifically for dog training. I signed up for a basic puppy training class with Laurel. I made it through two sessions before deciding I wasn’t taking my dog back. Laurel spends most of the class lecturing and there’s very little time left to actually teach your dog anything or practice skills. I felt like I needed to teach my dog skills at home before class because Laurel wasn’t showing us how to teach our dog anything. When we would demonstrate a skill in class we only received criticism with no suggestions for how to improve.I stopped going because I was extremely concerned about some of the things Laurel was saying in class. She advised us that modern dogs drink too much water and that we should only be offering water twice a day! She also relies heavily on wolf behavior to explain dog behavior, and often references dominance theory and alpha wolves. An example is that she says you should never allow your dog to walk through a door before you or that if your dog enjoys going outside it’s because he’s trying to dominate your backyard. The alpha wolf thing was debunked decades ago, and the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior has many articles denouncing dominance theory in dog training. I never would have signed my puppy up for a class with Laurel if I’d known she was using outdated and unscientific methods. I don’t recommend signing up for a training course with Laurel.
