We just got a bunch of fish for our tanks and I can not say this enough all of there fish and tanks are clean and fish are healthy I was very pleased plus the customer service was excellent and very knowledgeable and helpful with the set up for tank questions and how to take care of our new fish. Love the petco at hotel circle location!

Beware of the Aggressive Groomers!! My dog loved his old groomer that moved and now we are looking around for a new one. Took my dog twice now to be groomed. The first time I took him I thought okay maybe it’s a new groomer and they just missed a lot of spots and didn’t do his paws and ears because they were new. Second time he peed on the floor as soon as he spotted the groomer, Red flag! Never happened before with old groomer he would run to her with joy, so then I decide I’m going to spy and see how they are treating him while grooming. The groomer(s) would see me looking in and his groomer would take him off the table and walk him to the back another red flag. My dog was not happy when I picked him up. Stressed very verbal and anxious. Do not take your pets here they are to aggressive with your pets, and they don’t follow grooming directions. I have a dog that is scared now to even go in Petco. Yes, I had to go home and groom him myself. The groomer both times he got was Tommy.

It was horrible. My dog was there almost 3 hrs he is only 5 lbs. No grooming just bathing and cut nails. When I went to pick him up Oz brings me another dog not mine he didn't even have my dog ready and tells me to come.back the next day 😡 to finish clipping his feet and brush him out. Way beyond pissedoff I spent 60 dollars for what. I will never go back and I will never do business there period I will go to PetSmart from now on. Very poor services

Grooming staff was great. It was my pups first groom Amanda did the bathing and I am very pleased with how clean and soft my pup came out. Also she liked the staff and was comfortable with them. Mariah did a great job checking us in and explained process.

They are the best here they workers seeing very knowledgeable about different areas and things for your animals. And The grooming section is a five-star type of place they are amazing and they will take care of you and your pet. :) Highly recommend. Destiny, Amanda, and Mariah. But again all the workers and groomers are great:)

They were awesome! Very professional, helpful, and efficient. My pup HATES getting her nails trimmed, but the groomers figured out a way to make the experience a positive one, and put those notes in her file so that any of their staff can do it.

it has been a few years since I a dog there. But the last time I took my Poodle there to be groomed. The cut her leg open & said they couldn't see where fur ended & dark skin began. stupid!

Tatiana is the cutter I request. On this day it just so happen that i was there in the wrong scheduled day. I was disappointed because i travel from Santa Fe for my babies grooming. Pet co had a cancellation and we took that spot. My baby had such a bad experience at pet smart, she us terrified of groomers. It's always traumatic for her when we enter a grooming salon. I have to say after a few minutes in Mariah's care she was fine. She did such an amazing job, my baby of 11years of age looks like a baby again. Thank you for your loving groomers and the time and care they give to these vulnerable babies. God bless all of you. Thank you PET CO.

I shop Petco for convenience of location. However on the day of service I was very pleased to have a very enjoyable encounter with the young lady who helped me with grooming for my best buddy. This sweet, kind, polite, accommodating, and extremely efficient Young Lady is an asset to your company. It is because of her I will continue to use the grooming services and buy products from Petco.

I recently got my bulldog from my son. Mariah was so helpful in answering questions and caring for him. Looking at him over and giving me ideas and recommendations on his health and caring. He looked and felt great after his experience. Definitely coming back to have her do this for us again.

We were very satisfied with the grooming/care given. However, we were not happy with the explanation (or lack of) as to why it took so long. When we left our dog there, we were told it would be 1-2 hours. However, it was almost 4.5 hours before they were finished.

She took the time to explain to me the condition of shaggy's coat and what would need to be done. I learned all about the breed as she took the extra time to explain what type of cut she should have and how to do upkeep. She asked questions so that she could better serve shaggy during her time there. Everything was explained thoroughly with time for questions and responses. When I picked her up, she again took the time out to explain what she had done and why. She provided follow up information on how to maintain the cut. I was not rushed at all. She did a very thorough job.

Petco does an amazing job with our Dottie. She is up in age and required extra tender care. That is exactly what Petco gives. I love how they get down on the floor and interact with her before we leave. I won't take her anywhere else.

First off I had scheduled an appointment online for my dog to get a bath and a hair cut day's prior to 3:00 pm, Monday, January 19th, the day and time of the appointment. The day before the appointment, on January 18th, at 5:40 pm a staff member contacted me to reschedule the appointment. The staff member claimed that they "would not have enough time to work on the kiddo" -this place closes at 7pm, mind you. She offered me an alternative appointment for the next day after first offering me an earlier appointment time for the this same day of the appointment at 2:00pm… It's called a scheduled appointment for a reason. People have these things called plans that usually abide by this rule called time. It seems to me this business cannot manage time or appointments -Strike one. I decided to give Petco groomers another shot by scheduling for the upcoming Saturday -got in at 1:15, dropped the dog off. I get a phone call at 5:01 pm from a staff member who could not remember my name or my dog's name, but she did dial my number... She called to tell me, almost four hours later to come pick up my dog because the dog had become "difficult"... Hmmm, are we not in the business of animal grooming? Isn't that your job? I am sure if it was easy people would just groom their own pets. She went on to tell me that I would not be charged for the bath or the shotty hair cut they gave my dog. They cut her body and limb hair down with a 3/8” grooming guard (very unevenly might I add - it looked atrocious) and left her head and tail full... the dog looked ridiculous. Of course I am not going to pay for this half done job. When I went to pick up the dog, the groomer who botched my dog’s cut came out to tell me that they could try some sort of soothing or calming techniques to finish the job but that I would have to come back with the dog at a later day and time. At this point it is now about 5:20 pm. There is still one hour and 40 minutes before close of business… Why didn’t they call some one to cancel their appointment so that they could calm, sooth my dog and just finish the job like they had done to me the prior Monday so that they could, perhaps, finish someone else’s dog? Could it be because between 3 groomers they could’t handle a 45 lbs. labradoodle puppy. The dog came out worse than she went in to the groomer -they should be reimbursing me for what I will pay to fix their muck up. The groomer quickly pulled the “because-we-are-corporate-card” we cannot finish your dog and then passed me on to a manager -Strike two, no people skills. Among the three groomers in the grooming department, groomer needed someone else to explain things for them. And the last nail in the coffin; I asked for the names of two of the groomers, and as I did so a young lady (groomer) who was working on a small docile dog said in the most snarky voice I’ve ever been talked to at any business by an employee said “would you like my name too?”. I commented on her juvenile behavior by asking if this was her first job -she must have been 17. She remarked back, “actually I am 13-and-a-half…” The manager who was standing adjacent to me at this time turned to her and advised her to be quiet. Strike 3, absolutely no professionalism. As I leashed my dog and commented to the manager on the botched work -it appeared as if they did not try. The same young lady who claimed to be thirteen-and-a-half repeatedly remarked from behind her work station “no we didn’t try and we don’t care about dogs…” I left wondering about this business’s employee screening methods and ability to follow through on scheduled appointments. Moral of the story is - if your dog has little or no experience being groomed, do not take your dog to these people. If a job is too difficult, they would rather quiet in the middle of the work and not charge you. After all, they are a corporate company, their employees have no qualms with letting you know that, and they don’t need your business.

We came here to buy some fish my 10 year old son needed to go to the restroom and they wouldn't let him use theirs so we had to leave and go to the near by target. We won't be doing any business with Petco anymore.

Destiny is our precious pet's groomer. We live 55 miles away to get him to this salon...as our Peanut knows his route to your facility he fusses and temps to jump out of the car before I latch him to his collar..His trust and excitement says ,or shows in his actions that your facility and our Destiny, please us to a high expection. We experience above expectations..

Destiny Lieberg almost cares as much about my Teddy as I do!! Destiny is and will be Teddy's groomer as long as Teddy is in Albuquerque. Destiny really takes time to LOOK at Teddy because on a couple of occasions she has brought things to my attention. I am grateful for her attention to detail.
