I love shopping here. They shop the competition to offer the lowest price. They carry your purchases to your car for you and to top it off they offer free delivery within a certain radius of the store. Local rescue finds support here, which is so valuable. Great customer service!

Friendly and local. They made our name tags for our pup and it’s really cute! Then my human boy wanted gumballs but I didn’t have any quarters. They gave me two quarters for his gum. So they take care of furry kids and human kids. Highly recommend!

I took my 7 m.o. St Bernard to get a nail trim, he’s only had his nails trimmed once before and he was being a handful, to put it lightly. The staff was so patient with him and gave me pointers on desensitizing and teaching him behavioral correction. After the nail trim battle, he was in desperate need for a bath and the staff let me take him straight to the DIY dog wash, which I wasn’t scheduled for but they had an opening and were gracious to let me wash him. Everyone was so professional and kind to him and myself. I 100% recommend Pet Vet Market.

Went today to take my dogs for shots. Got there at 3:50, clinic was supposed to close at 4:00. I was told they weren’t taking anymore customers for shots. Was told Vet wanted to get out on time. The line was all the way to the back of the store. The Vet was not going to be finished anywhere near 4:00. Asked for the Manager and they didn’t help at all. All the staff looked like they were about 18. Won’t go to this store again. There has to be a shot clinic in Abq that has Vets younger than 87 years old. I would Recommend Long Leash on Life which is down the street at Eubank. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would give Pet Vet zero stars if I could. Stressed out my dogs today for nothing.

Took my 3 big dogs for the DIY dog wash this week. Such a great experience with all the staff. Friendly and helpful. I had hairy dirty dogs. Now they are beautiful and clean.They didnt complain at all about how much hair was going everywhere . I am so happy to have found this place. Sure saves alot of clean up at my own place. Thank you PetVet.

My dog absolutely loved his bath and everyone was super nice. They have to have a cold blow dryer as not to accently burn any, so bring your own blow dryer to give your dog a warm dry ♥︎

Take my 97lb & 108lb German Sheppard's here frequently and the tubs are adequately sized. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. From the professional nail trim to setting up the tubs for the wash, the attentive staff did everything but wash the "Hunds" for me. Local family run business, I'll definitely keep coming back.

It’s no surprise that there is only one remaining location for this pet food store! This is NOT a pet store, they are in the market for selling you pet food though. We have been customers at this last location for two years, we have two large breed dogs and buy premium grade dog food, costing us over $250/month and have two cats that we buy $50-75/ month for also. We also bathe our dogs here! We spend a lot of money here, well, no more. I came in with my very tame female kitty to be fitted for a harness, I called beforehand, whenever I arrived the girl I talked to on the phone had no recognition. She led me to the harnesses and I asked her to help me fit my cat, then my cat bolted behind the main row of dog food. It took me approximately 3.5 minutes to retrieve my cat. Whenever I did I found that both employees and the owner were assisting two customers. So this employee left me without letting me know or any indication that she would return. I assumed she would return and paced in the back calming my cat. The second employee that I assume was new because I’ve never met her was running back and forth between the counter and the back. I asked her on her second passing if she could get the harness already opened for my cat (she had already passed by me and I asked where the harness was and she informed me it was with the first employee) and she said she would. I watched her walk to the other employee to retrieve the harness and the owner told her not to worry about me & instead help another customer out to her car. I decided to leave, no hard feelings but definitely want to support stores that focus on pets, not just their food! Also this location has a hard time keeping our cat food preferences (Victor) in stock & have called to let us it’s in but then it’s not there. Here’s a picture of my cat who is very friendly and will accompany us on walks around the neighborhood, but finds noisy stores with loud music scary!

Really really wanted to like this place but officially done with them. If you’re a person of color or an owner with big dog you’ll be watched like a hawk and followed around. I purchased very frequently there and even used their diy wash services, yet I was never remembered or greeted whenever I’d come around. Flat out just racist people I guess, they greeted and treated my sister better (she’s white skinned) so yeah not sure if it’s a “coincidence” but I don’t feel like it is. Anyways everything is overpriced as people have mentioned, I looked past that since I like to shop local; but as mentioned chewy is cheaper. Terrible and unsatisfactory overall.

My little angel hates absolutely everyone! Such a pain to cut her nails and nearly impossible and so stressful. but the person who cut them today absolutely blew my mind. Lyra (my dog) didn’t mind him holding her paws what so ever and all her little toes look perfect! 10/10 pawdicure and I won’t go anywhere else now! Thank you so much!

$15 PER SHOT RECORD. IT IS NOT THE MONEY BUT JUST FEELING RIPPED OFF. Requested shot record and employee said that they charge for $15 per dog record. He explained that it is a lot of work to keep, file and organize records, while holding the two pieces of paper I needed in his hand. I have kept hundreds of records in my business , and believe me, it is not difficult. This is terrible customer service and public relations. Spoke to the same employee today and asked that they email records, again same scam. He said owners would not be there until Friday. I hate to post a negative review, but this is ridiculous.

Their store is always clean and well stocked. Try offer a ton of services that make coming here unique. They always have the dog food that we want and they offer to help you carry items to the front and to your car. They also have delivery that is easy to set up and convenient. They have a loyalty program on some of the dog food that gives you a bag free after buying so many which.The dog wash area is easy to use and has everything you need to make washing your dog easy. The staff is helpful when asking questions.Their prices can be higher on some of their dog toys than online but I find it’s worth it for the services they provide and to support a local store.

Best self serving dog wash in town!!! You have to call to reserve your spot/appointment. But they do a punch card for every 10 washes you get one free. Their employees are so helpful and they great you with a welcoming smile when you walk in.

I use the DIY dog washing facility. The set up is very efficient. Wash and dry your dog and out the door in 20 minutes or so. Best to call for availability and appointment as they can get busy. They have a buy 6 get 7th wash free.

First went to the store on Eubank/Comanche. Met the manager, Joey who was very nice. At the time, my Mom and I had 2 smaller-sized beagles, Ruby Sue and her son, Mr. George. They got their nails clipped there, and whomever did it back then always did an excellent job. Now it’s just Mr. George who just got his nails clipped and a bath last Sat, 9/10. We only had an appt for his bath, but Veronica clipped his nails anyway. She, Tom and Joey and the rest of the workers are the best. They always lift Mr. George up and out of the bath and on the table to dry off or get his nails clipped.Would highly recommend them♥️
