Of truck stops I usually like Love's the best, but this one wasn't up to par as others. It needed a good clean-up from the restroom to the fountain drink area, not up to Love's usual standards. Maybe just an off night.

1. They wash the gas station by closing off 4 fuel pump. While everyone is standing, waiting! They must do this at night..2. Not friendly faces3. Fuel pump gives error when applying discount card. Always! Need to go to cashier.

If I could give less than one star, I would. I was driving from Tulsa, Ok to Riverside CA. First it is important to note that my husbands car (which I was driving) is a hybrid. The cost of fill up on empty was under $25 in Tulsa and that gave me 600 miles till empty. I gave myself a $400 budget to get to CA. That included everything. To do that, i pulled $400 because tangible money is better than invisible money on a budget. I am also currently recovering from a broken leg, so I am not fast. So, i stopped in Amarillo, TX and filled up $21. So then the next stop was Albuquerque. I go in to the gas station in AL and take the kids to the bathroom. Come out and give the cashier $40 in cash. I go out, pump my gas. Total is 18.01. I went inside to get my change. I go in and they try to give me $3 and some change. I am like... what? And they tell me I spent 36 and some change. And I am like... no...And I ask them to come out and see. I explain that my car won't take 40 with their gas prices, even on empty. They call the manager who REFUSED to help me. Telling me that I must have been wrong about how much I pumped, that he was not going out with me to check. That if there is a discrepancy, it must be because I moved my car. Which makes no sense. To take my change and leave. I told them I was calling an officer. I left the money on the counter and went to get my phone. They tried to get me to take it. I was absolutely not doing that. I take a picture of the pump and I go back in. Then i tell them to check the cameras that i did not move the car and that this was the last chance before I call the cops. I told them to check the cameras, i did not move my car after pumping. Count their till? Anything! The lady tells me to calm down so they can help me. I said, being calm didn't help me this far and I am hardly yelling. I am being firm. I am on a budget and I am traveling across country on a broken leg and they are trying to steal almost $20 from me. She finally comes up with this story about how the person in front of me must not have gotten their change and it took a bit for my total to come through. They give me my change. Then she told me that they could have got sorted faster if I had not caused a scene. And I retorted that apparently being nice doesn't make their system work. Be warned. I suspect they are short changing people and pocketing the money.

In my career as a driver this is by far the most disgusting, grimey, and below par Love’s I’ve been to in the entire United States. The woman’s restroom was disgusting and who knows how long it had been since it had been cleaned. The floors were literally black. The showers were no better with nothing mopped or wiped down. Straight up FILTHY. No food in the deli was prepared. Hot food not ready and some of the cold food expired. They have this place packed full of employees that are literally just standing collecting a check when there is obviously work to be done. I could keep going on about this place but this is just ridiculous. Corporate should be getting a call from me and emailing them the pictures I’ve taken. Unacceptable. Your job isn’t hard.

4 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ I’ve now been to this Loves 4 times since October 2022 to today and I haven’t had a bad experience the staff are friendly and it always clean when I’m here. The fuel islands were busy but that’s normal and the women’s restroom was clean Also the views are beautiful at this Loves!!Please like my post if it helps you out. ☺️

There was puke in the women’s bathroom and when I mentioned it to the person cleaning places that you couldn’t even SEE and had minimal junk on it, he barely glanced at me and muttered “well it’s going to be a good long while before we get to that.” My brother said the men’s bathroom was just as bad and had dust everywhere. To be fair they did need more people but at the same time one of the workers there was kind of just wandering around. Definitely not the best place to go to

On my 4th trip traveling cross country I stop almost exclusively at Love's. They are typically clean, have a dog park, workers are friendly, and I can sleep safely. Not the case here. The dog park was teeny-tiny, rocky, and filled with trash and poop, the lot was filthy and trashy (like much of NM unfortunately), and I was told at midnight (after being woken by an officer) that there is no overnight parking. This place is a big nope for me and the only negative review I've ever left of a Love's.

Chased out at 4am by security. I almost exclusively stop at Love’s to gas up and catch some sleep when traveling across the country. They are usually clean and safe. This one is crowded and the “dog park” is 60sqft of rocks. They actually advertised a dog park on a sign in Albuquerque. I’ve never before been asked to leave a Love’s Travel Center, but the security guard was knocking on everyone’s window at 3:30am telling them to move on down the road. This was very disappointing.

Horrible. Worst loves I've been too. Woke up by security gaurd at 12 am and told to move. Talked to a store manager and they laughed. Glad they think its funny to screw with people for no reason. When I told them I'd be calling corporate they said they pay for the gaurd.......No, me and everyone else that spends money there ultimately do and that won't be happening again anytime soon. Beware of what a bunch of jerks this place is

So an update 2 months later I stop here again due to it being the closest place to the warehouse. I go in to use the bathroom and it still is not being cleaned like it should be. Trash cans overflowing, floors haven't been mopped since who knows when. Just disgusting. I'd rather use a bucket in the parking lot, that would be cleaner. Very disappointing that this place can't get it together.Don't come here, they cater to all the people in cars and don't care about the truckers who spend alot in fuel alone. The bathrooms were deplorable. Piss and poop all over the toliets and floor. Looks like they hadn't been cleaned all day. Go down the way to the pilot or ta you'll be better off.

I'll just never go to a Love's again. Refused to refund or address a payment I made for no service in return. Not their problem apparently. I'm sick of these places who openly steal from their customers. No accountability at all. Everything belongs to a "third party" so if anything doesn't work, not their fault. Get it off your property then.

Terrible service, the bathrooms are always dirty and the guards will chase you away if you stop for more than an hour to rest. This is the worst Love I have ever visited. I have visited other Loves in other states and it hasn't worked for me. After something like this, this Love in Albuquerque is the worst I have been able to visit

Stop for a tire repair, only one truck was ahead of me and they told me to wait for a call, 2 hours pass and when I went to check they had another 2 trucks inside. A very rude “mechanic” told me they take in mechanic problems first and just to keep waiting as if my time is not important for them. Very bad customer service from the shop. I got there at 8:30 am and they called me at 5:30 pm to get me in to fix my tire. I left by 10 am but it is just ridiculous.

I'm a disabled driver.I came to Love's truck stop to take a shower. I asked a worker named Tinda if they had a shower for the disabled, she replied that they did not have a shower for the disabled. I said give it what it is and this employee gave me a check with the number #6 . I went to door #6 and it turned out to be a shower for the Ivalids.I undressed and began to take a shower, suddenly they began to knock insistently on my door, I opened the door, this worker Tinda was standing there and said that I should go to another shower and began to hold the door. I was able to close the door by force, she was screaming outside the door, I was scared. This truck stop can be attacked because of the shower. I advise you to be wary of this place.

Any Love's this close to a city is usually busy and hard for staff to maintain so they can't be faulted. This location is atrocious even still with overflowing trash in the truck lot and grimy bathrooms with broken stalls and a shortage of toilet paper. The staff are flat out rude and abrasive. Out of coffee cups in every single size and lacked amenities. Asking for coffee cups from the staff resulted in being treated like am idiot. Any interaction with any member was more than unpleasant. They're flat out hostile. Won't be stopping here again.

Never again coming to this loves. No parking passing 10pm (MDT), I ve seen a lot of truck drivers park on the red (no parking) I make my own parking , trying to get some rest at least 7hrs sleeper (ELD). Got kick out at 1am cant park there bud. Employee gave me few suggestions. My inner thought it's 1am why can you give me till 4am at least trying to get some rest

The cashier gave me incorrect change. The manager, Jason, refused to give me the money back when I asked. He was extremely rude. He stole my receipt from me when I set it on the counter and said he needed it to prove I put gas. I told him I had the right to have a copy of my receipt, and he refused to give it back. He bullied me and treated me like trash for no reason. He then said if he gave me a copy of my receipt would I leave. I said no because I was given incorrect change. So he said he wouldn't give me my receipt back. I felt he may have been racist. I called sheriff's and they were no help. I was told I could not return for getting upset that they stole from me. I will gladly not return. I cried that entire evening and felt very discriminated against.The next day I spoke to another manager on shift. She said she would speak to him and call me back. She returned my call and apologized and said I could come back and they would credit me $5 for the inconvenience. I was very grateful.

Restrooms (women’s) where clean. Store looked clean. There was a wait time for the showers. But it was a busy time of the day. It has a Carl jr. which I had for dinner bc for lunch I walked across the road best taco truck ever. (I left them there review also)

The brake light of my truck container doesn't light up. When I came here, the staff was friendly and enthusiastic, and helped me solve the problem professionally. He was the best! Thanks to this truck gas station, thanks to America! May we end the epidemic! Prosper the economy!

The workers here are disrespectful and not professional at all. Showers are nasty. There's mold on the walls. Got a shower here even the toilet was still dirty. Complained one of them told me to get over. This place sucks. Definitely filing a complaint to corporate. This truck stop doesn't even deserve a star

This Love’s does not allow you to sleep in your car. Because of some of the reviews, I asked the cashier. She told me that I could “try to catch a few z’s” but that the security guard would most likely kick me out.This is the first time this has been an issue and I have stayed at Love’s all over the country. Very disappointing, and honestly puts me in a somewhat dangerous position of having to continue driving while tired.

I wouldn't even give this place one star if I could. The female cashier was so RUDE. I will NEVER stop at another Love's ever again because of this interaction. I will be telling everyone I know who hauls not to stop there either. Bathrooms were slightly dirty. No toilet liners in the women's bathroom. There was a nice gentleman cleaning up outside. He did a good job. Still would never recommend this place to anyone.

I understand they woke by hours and they finish the eight hours whatever and they go home but we have to do our job keep going I think I believe to change a tire is only the maximum 1 hour and we have to spend four five or more hours waiting and he's gay I saw the place they're not doing nothing only playing around is very sad that it's okay I hope one day change this situation
