I can’t say enough good things about the owner and staff.- no cages- kind, courteous, respectful- always double checks what kind of cut you want your dog to have- Salon is clean, professional, dog safeI could go on and on but I think the above list is most important when looking for a groomer.What I truly appreciate is the customer service. I picked up a foster pug that was in desperate need of a good bathing and toe nail trimming. The owner was kind enough to squeeze me in first thing the next morning. Anymore these days, you can’t find good customer service like that.I have to throw in how creative they are as well. I LOVE how open they are to doing creative things and get just as excited as I do.Halloween is right around the corner and I wanted my Bichon and newly adopted foster fail pug to be ready. J.E.M’s Bright Star Grooming did not disappoint!This is my forever grooming salon for my fur-babies. I don’t trust my dogs in anyone else’s hands but J.E.M’s. Thank you ladies!!!

When we moved from Colorado to New Mexico I was concerned about finding a good, thorough and gentle groomer for my pup. I hit the jackpot with J.E.M’s Bright Star. Michelle not only gives Rocky an excellent cut but he loves going. When I would take him to past groomers he would get so nervous that he shook. Not here. He marches in like he owns the place and is happy to see everyone there. When I drop him off or pick him up I am always amazed at how comfortable the dogs are and how well they interact with each other. The ties, scarves and holiday pictures are a treat. The environment is always clean, organized and cheerful. I highly recommend J.E.M’s Bright Star.

We had been using Michelle for almost 2 years. Our dog is difficult to groom around his eyes. We don’t argue this but everytime we would bring him, Michelle would not say don’t bring him back. She at times came off rude and my husband and daughter noticed this too. She always complained about our dog. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt as people have bad days. We were gone all summer and I call today for an appointment to which Michelle said “I don’t know if I told you last time but he’s too difficult to groom you might need to take him To a vet”…. To which she never told us last time. That isn’t my issue, and. I’m fine taking him somewhere else, but… don’t play the victim like you told us, I’m being nice because every-time we took our dog it seemed she was put out with us and our dog. To which she should have just said at that time she didn’t want to groom our dog any longer. I’m completely fine it’s how rude Michelle came off when we would pick our dog up. Sorry, but customer service goes a long way.
