If I could give less than one star I would. Terrible customer service, especially Amy who is quite rude. 3 times they canceled with extremely short notice. I don't live near by. They prefer small dogs, get them done quicker and make more money . My large dog is very sweet and her grooming bill with tip comes close to $200. Never go here unless you like being treated like dirt. I tip very well but these people are rude, unprofessional, and won't keep an appointment. Hope they go out of business.

I’m obsessed. Groomingdales is amazing. They cut my doodle perfectly. You can just tell they treat the animals well. My guy loves to go get groomed. I love how cute and fluffy he looks afterwards. Prices are reasonable. Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my doodle!

We have been bringing our dogs to Groomingdales for a few months and have been really impressed. One of our dogs is a Standard Poodle and I’ve found it hard to get him groomed well and for reasonable prices. So far Groomingdales has managed to do both! We will be back.

I recently experienced a devastating loss of my husband of 28 years. I adopted a wonderful dog named Daisy from Animal Humane. I researched and found this amazing place Groomingdales. Jessica, who runs the desk was so accommodating, kind and professional. She assisted me with scheduling my very first appointment with Daisy. My wonderful dog Daisy had never been professionally groomed. I was so concerned about how she might respond and Jessica found the perfect groomer Ali.Daisy, who is a combination of breeds but sheds like no other dog we’ve ever had.Ali at Groomingdales did the most amazing grooming and treatments that addressed all the issues I had. The most important thing is that Ali made Daisy feel safe: and look amazing. Groomingdales is a wonderful, compassionate, professional, and safe place to take your rescue or other dogs to for grooming services.I am now, and always will Take my wonderful Daisy to them for any grooming service. The proof is in the fact that the first time I got Daisy home she did not shed for two months.Ali, the groomer even requested that she groom Daisy; honestly the feelings were mutual!If you are looking for a professional, grooming service that offers affordable, compassionate care for your pet look no further than Groomingdales.

The owner (Amy) and Gracie Mae "Wigglebutt's" stylist(Allison) were knowledgeable and listened to what we wanted. Our fur baby was happy and got a blueberry facial! She was not tense or scared after her first time. Amy even showed us the place openly since we were nervous for Gracie being new there. So open, welcoming and skilled. Even the receptionist Ashley was amazing!

I have been a client of this groomers for about six months. After yesterday, I will not be back. I explicitly told the groomer what I wanted, my dog was slightly longer than normal, but had been brushed and bathed in between appointments. Instead of doing what I asked, they shaved her. I’ve been to numerous groomers in the past, and shaving a dog, is the height of laziness on the groomers part. The dog was not matted, and it will now be several weeks before she even starts to look normal again. The complete lack of communication and care is inexcusable.

I have been going to Groomingdale's Pet Spa (San Antonio Location) for about 3 years now. They are amazing! When I return for pick up, my pet, Khona, always looks good and is well groomed. Outstanding job every time! Finally, I want to mention that I can absolutely trust Groomingdale's to take good care of my pet. Candidly, at Groomingdale's, I am not worried about any abuse or "rough handling" of Khona when left alone with them. In the past, I have heard "horror stories" at other pet care places about how pets are treated while being left alone with the groomer. This is not the case at Groomingdale's, which is why, along with their outstanding pet grooming services, I continue to be a loyal customer.

Terrible customer service. Had a groomer cancel and show up late multiple times. You are better off learning to groom by yourself, you will have better luck and less of a headache. Please avoid.

I have a shih-tzu/chihuahua mix but she looks more like terrier. They do a fantastic job grooming her and their prices are better than Petsmart. I've been taking both my fur babies there for 1 year.

My dad's pup, Mia, looks a little frazzled in the picture but she always looks like that. She loved her new haircut and we loved it too. The owner and groomer were so friendly and seemed to really care for his dog. He takes his other dog, Akamaru, here as week and they always do a great job.

We LOVE Groomingdales! We travel all around the world but if we’re going to be in Albuquerque, I make a point to bring my Pekingese to Grooomingdales. All the groomers are wonderful and do a great job with my very non-standard breed. Great prices and reasonably flexible scheduling are an added bonus.

I took my dog here for a drive-up nail trim today. The staff was so helpful and great at their job! I have a 90# lab mix who is a total jerk about getting his nails cut (at least when I try to do it) and they had him in and out in less than 15 minutes without an appointment! I couldn't believe they were able to get all his nails in one visit - I thought for sure I'd have to bring him back the next day for Round 2. Nope! They are magical unicorn dog whisperers! I am so grateful!

Update: was told about an hour ago they would grind my dogs' nails if I got there before 330, got here at 310 - have called and knocked on the door for about 10 minutes, whoever was inside just ignored me. No regard for wasting my time or gas, not appreciated.Staff is always very friendly and understanding - both my dogs seem fine once we leave the parking lot and their nails are always trimmed to my satisfaction - my small one has to be muzzled and they are nice about it.

Stay away! I took my babygirl here a few weeks ago. The service was meh. But the most horrible part was my dog got folliculitis from their dirty brushes. I feel terrible that what was supposed to be a pamper session turned into a horrible and painful experience for my fur baby. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE!

I want to let everyone know that the owner really cares about her business and the dogs who come in here. After expressing my dissatisfaction with a previous concern I was amazed at how responsive Rose was. She was also able to relate to the situation. I feel like all clients should call to schedule their dogs in a timely manner and people shouldn’t take it out on the receptionist if there is a wait for the desired groomers. We use Fernando who is like #THEBEST with my Maltese Yorkie who is stubborn also. I am going to start making my dog’s next appointment when I finish his current one that way make my life and Groomingdale’s life easier also! Keep up the good work!

We just moved to Albuquerque and I'm so lucky to have found Groomingdales and Yolanda. Molly enjoyed her Spa day and looks great. More than anything else, We were both treated as if they actually appreciate our business. So professional and courteous. We will return again without a doubt. Just a great experience. Ok, so I had a bad experience the last time I came. The owner, Rose, had called me directly that day to see what had happened.She was very concerned and once she heard, she was very apologetic. I, also, wasn't the most polite person as they refused to let me drop my dog's off, and I lost it. It's over now and Rose had called in an employee to come help and do my dog's for me and got it done very quickly. One of my dog's is a pain in the a**, big time. She did her best, but for his own safety she stopped and she scheduled me to come back a few days later to finish. My dog's look great, groomingdales took responsibility for themselves,I, too, apologized and it all worked out. Was very happy with how Rose handled everything and she showed how a great business owner understands customer service.On that note, the front desk lady (young lady w black hair) at the Montano location was very polite, professional and showed compassion as she knew what a stressful experience my dog's have going there. So her kindness was greatly appreciated. It's hard to find good customer service people these daysThe other lady, in her 30's, was also nice.It makes a difference when businesses truly care about you and your loved onesThank you

I brought in my Chihuahua for a nail grinding - drop-in, no appointment. The staff was professional and very quick, and the grinding was $12.90 (as of July 2018) Their waiting area is comfortable, and I didn't have to spend too long.There was no annoying trying to upsell extra services I did not need. Also, I really appreciate that they don't have one of those payment machines that makes you press "no tip" several times to try and shame you into leaving a tip; already paying a fair price for a basic service. Very satisfied and I will definitely be going back!

5/5 RECOMMEND GREATLY. I had called and asked if they had any openings for that same day and I was lucky enough to get in right away! My experience was amazing in that it only took them an hour to give my dog a haircut for only $50. I had previously been to Petsmart where they charged $100 and took 5 hours. I will always come back. Forever customer!
