My kids and I got two green Chilli cheese burgers and fish and chips. The burger were pretty good except for a random piece of old lettuce on both burgers and the meat needed a bit more seasoning. The fish and chips were $20.00 and were a decent size. My daughter loved it. The fries were good and really fresh. Overall the food was really expensive. We spent a total of $55.00 for the food after tip and all. They got desert for another 16.00. So pretty expensive overall. The atmosphere is probably one of the best and my kids loved it more than most places. There was a guy that was serving us seemed upset but was actually really nice.

The Flying Star Cafe is a neat place to grab a bite to eat. There's a lot of open space and it would be a great place to spend a long lunch with friends, or have a working lunch with colleagues. I had a great green chile cheeseburger with a peach tea. I also got a couple of desserts from their awesome bakery for the road. So far I've only enjoyed the carrot cake - which was incredible.

I enjoyed visiting a friend here and we were comfortable, our table was constantly bussed, the place was always being swept and clean. The food was great, nice to have vegan options for my friend too, including great chocolate cake.Atmosphere was comfortable and a good place to talk and enjoy company.

I’m taking off a star because the music is obnoxiously loud. I like having background music, but it’s so noisy that it’s hard to have a conversation. Even with headphones, you can’t drown it out. Sometimes they also have two different types of music playing (today it was Queen near the kitchen section, and chill music in the dining room area).Otherwise, the wifi is good and the coffee tasty. I haven’t tried much of their food, but their cakes are delicious.

Dined in for breakfast on our way to the airport. Southwest Bennie was a bit heavy, but what can you expect when something is smothered in queso! The green chili really shined, but was not so overpowering that it was all you could taste. I really liked the eggs and the English muffin was great. You order at the front counter and get a number for the table at fist come first served seating. The folks taking orders were friendly. The dining room itself is showing some wear and tear. I get the impression they churn through a lot of people most of which are likely college students. There was also a really off-putting smell near the restrooms. For my review it was 5 for food and 3 for ambiance/establishment so I met in the middle at 4.

I paid over $20 for a salad with chicken. I got a salad to-go and when I got it home, it had dark meat chicken which I do not care for. I could not find on the website where they are subbing dark meat for white meat so this was disappointing. I understand trying to cut costs but at over $20 + for a salad, it should be consistent with what was served in the past.

9 times outta 10 the food here is awesome no matter what you order… that being said I can confidently say that the Fish Tacos are probably one of the worst things I’ve eaten in years. The fish was cooked well an the spicy aïoli was good but the coleslaw (each taco was like 60%slaw to 40%fish) was so overpowering and sweet it just ruined everything including the corn tortillas that were a soggy mess. So if you gotta have fish while dining at the flying star maybe consider the “Fish dish” or the tried and true fish an chips. Having said all this I can definitely say I’ll l be ordering again and still do recommend this place.

A frequent Flying Star regular specifically for the Cauliflower Wings and Blueberry Pancakes. Had the blueberry pancakes two days in a row which was a great choice. Only complaint was the size of pancakes greatly differs based on whose in the kitchen. The pancakes in the photo were smaller than usual. Coffee is also really good, just brought out in glass cups when ordered hot, which means a longer wait time to drink waiting for it to cool.

This place has a great ambience and has delicious food. The dishes here have a great flavor variety. Favorites so far include the southwest Bennie, French toast, and their salads. Not so fav was their apple pie crumble and chocolate cake. They have free wifi and seems to be a suitable place to study.

16.50$ salad without tax -ordered to go. I have ordered the salad in store many times and it is at least seemingly much larger when ordered “for here”. I know they have big leafy greens and giant strips of tofu so I went to the front to ask about the leafy greens and tofu and they not only seemed bothered by my question, and then blamed another coworker openly for forgetting to include croutons (which I didn’t even ask about). I was just disappointed with the staff how they handled the situation and the amount of food that pales in comparison to when ordering in person. I hope this is something that can be reviewed by the manager of the location as I have not experienced this at other Flying Star locations.

First timer. Ordered the Two Birds and a Biscuit meal. It came cold. Chicken was dry. Found it a little inconvenient that I ordered orange juice but if I wanted more I had to go back up and wait in a line that was out the door to order a new one. Took the cold food back up and asked if they could heat it up a bit. They did so but forgot about it and had to warm it up a second time. It came back to me with the gravy dried out. As I was sitting near the kitchen waiting for my food, I noticed the female servers kept touching their face/nose and plating food. One of them kept itching her nose and her behind and then plating and taking food to the customers. Hopefully the next time I decide to go is a better experience.

Ordered a salad, "crispy" chicken with macaroni and cheese. This was a take out order. Pretty good salad. Wasn't my favorite dressing. The macaroni and cheese is really good. The chicken is stacked on the macaroni and cheese and is far from crispy. It was quite soggy. The bottom batter of the chicken stuck to the macaroni. The chicken is pretty tasteless too. If you get it maybe use some sort of dip you like with it.

Matzo Ball Soup is delicious. Wonderful flavor. Grilled cheese was good but nothing special. The Chai tea latte was scrumptious.Service was kind and efficient.Prices seemed high for what we purchased, but all of their food looks so yummy.Pie is $6.50 for a slice, that seems too expensive to me.Please "like" my review if you appreciate honest reviews to help you make informed choices.

It was crazy busy, but the staff was super efficient. The manager was on the floor delivering food and answering questions like a real leader should. Food was good but coffee was better. Will come again

I came through Albuquerque for the sole purpose of dining at the legendary Flying Star. It never disappoints! They have some eclectic new menu items such as Banh Mi and a zesty, shrimp citrus salad which was phenomenal! My server Dawn was extremely pleasant. She knew the menu like the back of her hand. She even gave me some travel pointers for my journey on Route 66. The entire staff was attentive. I never miss an opportunity to visit this amazing spot on Nob Hill. Thank you Dawn! Keep up the good work.

One of my favorites in ABQ. Food is high quality and unique. Great space to work remotely for a bit too. Try the Mexican Latte!
