We dined in for Easter brunch. As usual, the food was hot and serving/bussing crew was great. It can get a little loud inside whenever there are a lot of people. I had huevos with Christmas. It was good, but the chile had more heat than flavor. My wife got the Two Birds and a Biscuit which was really good and I want to try next time.Kid-friendliness: Kids menus and booster seats.

Their Mexican Latte and chocolate eclair haunt me on a weekly basis. Finally tried the Star’s Buddha Bowl and it was delicious; packed with the right amount and variety of veggies (broccoli, red peppers, sugar peas, edamame, scallions, and mushrooms) and with the perfect amount of ginger . I apologize for the not so great pic as I had already eaten from it before I felt it deserved a review.I come here often and this is my favorite location by far due to the friendly and uber efficient staff and ambiance (great seating options and the patio is perfectly placed). Thanks for everything guys.

Met out of town grandsons for a coffee visit. They love this place, remembering the Turtle Sundae's. Coffee and ice tea very good - the selection of pastries has changed - eg, no authentic pastries(except Eclairs). The slice of cake I chose was tasty, though a little expensive. Atmosphere remains casual and comfortable - Perhaps the staff was mostly trainees - they were trying hard.

My family and I tried this place….. and we were not disappointed!!!! The hidden treasure is absolutely amazing for an Indian dish. The French toast was delicious, the burrito was delicious. And I tried the chicken couscous risotto………absolutely amazing!! This place is fast, clean, friendly and efficient. Everybody ate all of their food. Bonus… we got to sit out on the patio and it is dog friendly. I highly recommend this place. Keep in mind that you’ll pay for the quality of your food. For 4 of us, it was $80.

My boyfriend and I have been going here for a long time, and they never disappoint! The food is consistent and good, and the desserts are the best part about this place. The service is great, everyone is very friendly! Only downside is it is a little pricey, but you’re paying for quality!Parking: The parking here during a lunch rush can be a little difficult to find, but any other time you’re able to find parking pretty easy.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicap spots available, and the doors are automatic! There are stairs in the restaurant, so you either have to enter outside from the patio to reach the downstairs, or from the main entrance to eat upstairs near the counter.

Absolutely fantastic service and food! We had a small issue with one of our dishes when it came out, but the manager handled it promptly and well! Everything was absolutely delicious! Had a couple of the seasonal dishes and tried the Mac and cheese and just loved it! Great spot, definitely an instant favorite.Dietary restrictions: They were able to sub out all the onions on my dish with no issue.

It should be illegal to sell an “entree” this small and underwhelming for $14.50. We used to get the posole verde all the time and it was actually a decent size and had a lot of meat in it. Now you pay $30 for two tiny servings and it’s basically just broth. Completely insane how much this restaurant now charges for what basically amounts to hospital food.

Awesome brunch spot... The food is great and gluten free options are available. The GF flapjacks are amazing! The service is noteworthy. The patio was clean and the tables were far enough apart to be socially distant. The London Fog was a dream. The coffee was an earthy delight. 💛

What a first rate place for an amazing brunch!!! You pick your own table and order/pay at the front. Definitely a bit busy, but the food is incredible, and they have an amazing case of desserts, too!! My posole verde was sooo amazing, and really hit the sweet spot for that New Mexico green chile craving!

We went in for dinner on a Sunday evening. It was busy, but not crazy. Food took a minute to be served, but we are patient so that was no issue. My main issue was that most of the food was TRASH..... The chicken tenders were the SMALLEST slivers of chicken I've ever seen. Because they were so incredibly small, the cook also wayyyyy overcooked them. They were chewy, stringy, and reminded me more of biting the back of a leather saddle than a chicken tender. The small mac we got as a side was also just that, small! and lukewarm at best! For almost $8, you'd think they could give you a solid serving..... I ordered the Fish Sandwich for myself and that was at least good. Not that big either, but i'd say it was adequate compared to anything else. Almost impossible to eat without wearing it, but it was good none the less. The sweet potato fries were complete opposite of the tenders and were very under done. For this wack almost $50 meal I could have went somewhere else and got tons of food, that would have likely also been cooked much better. Their portions suck, their cooking of the food sucks, and their price is ridiculous. I remember other locations having better food at least, so I may try to go to another location but I'll never get food here again!

I have a new favorite entree at Flying Star, the Stewpot Chicken. It is somewhat like a deconstructed chicken pot pie, without the risk of burning the roof of your mouth and tongue. The generous flaky biscuit stays crispy, not soggy. The tender chicken & veggies are full of flavor. Be sure to plan extra time at the Juan Tabo location, it often takes twice as long as the Wyoming or Corrales locations, although same great food.Parking: Get plenty of steps from parking out west, near the baseball fields.

Upon entering the flying star Café, it’s a very retro modern style . Very warm and welcoming and you will always receive a smile with your service. We tried the all day breakfast this time. The taste was not what I had anticipated. My prior visit to this establishment had been quite delicious.

My son and I go here fairly frequently when I give him rides from his job. There are not a lot of menu items that appeal to my simple meat and potatoes pallete but I had a rise and shine and saw that it was good. Breakfast sandwich on an English muffin. We were there later than usual. Around 8. Which may be a factor. But numerous tables had not been bussed. Some that were free of old dishes clearly had not been wiped. I'm not a judgmental tyrant, a Gordon Rameses, 𓀴 but I have done that job before. None of the employees really seemed to notice or care and it wasn't super busy.I had coffee which probably doesn't happen so much at that hour. There was no spoon in my silverware. Only a knife and fork. Not as much of an issue as there also wasn't any cream. Lol.I expect we will go there again. It's not terrible but not my best visit. Next time maybe I will request a wet rag and run through the place. Lol.

This place is great! Im visiting Albuquerque from El Paso, and this place came out as an ad on instagram, so I decided to give it a try. We did have to wait in line about 6-9 minutes, but the wait was worth it. The staff ladies are polite, attentive and smart. There are so so many food choices I had a hard time picking what I wanted. Everything from the coffee to the jelly is homemade. The place was a little croweded but it accomodates inside and outdoor dining and both spaces are gorgeous. I highly recommend visiting this place for breakfast or lunch if you come to Albuquerque to visit!

This store is starting to decline rapidly. They do not value customers. Especially when it’s customers that order online or through DoorDash or an online service. Here is my experience. I ordered food on Sunday because I was feeling a little bit under the weather. Normally it would not be a big deal. But not taking accountability for doing something wrong is concerning. And furthermore a manager that doesn’t want to acknowledge that employee is being rude or disrespectful is even more concerning. I ordered food through DoorDash. They got my order wrong. They didn’t include what I paid for with the original order. So I had to call DoorDash to have them re-order my food because I wanted what I paid for at the store. When the Dasher arrived, they messaged me and stated that an associate or someone at the store told them that I would have to pay extra for an item on the receipt. I told that Dasher that I want my item that I paid for originally. And that it is not my fault that they made my item incorrectly. I then called the manager to explain the situation to him. To let him know that it is not OK for an associate to be saying things like that to the Dasher to reiterating the message to me. It’s unprofessional, and I am not the one that did my job incorrectly at that restaurant. I am, including what the Dasher had wrote me. So there is evidence. Because the one thing that the manager did say is that he did not want to assume that one of his associates said what was said. I let that manager know that I did not tell that Dasher that and DoorDash did not tell that Dasher that. Meaning that it had to be one of his associates. And then just because an associate has been there for a long term with the company automatically gives them room to be disrespectful to a paying customer is rude. All I told that manager after he did not want to talk to his employee with having better manners, when serving customers to maybe reiterate, that and stop being rude to customers, especially paying customers. But the manager did not want to listen. He did not want to listen with reason and he does not want to manage his employees. This restaurant does not take accountability when they do stuff wrong and furthermore. They are going to treat you in a disrespectful manner. Even when they were the ones that made the mistake to begin with. Mistakes are fixable when you take accountability. But being rude and disrespectful and not taking accountability and possibly gaslighting, your customers is your character. Great job on how you guys run your facility. I applaud you really…

We had the Athena salad and the Buddha bowl. The Athena salad was okay but the cheese was a little hard. The Buddha bowl had really good tasting tempura chicken But the lemongrass dressing that they put on it makes it taste earthy which is not appetizing. It's kind of expensive. I think we spent about $40 for these two plates with two iced teas
