This location has closed its doors indefinitely. In my honest opinion, I believe this store has permanently closed due to the overwhelming homeless population that frequents the area and with this came a minimal customer base. Shoplifting was likely another probable cause to this location closing as well.However when this store was up & running, it was ran well and always had the products I was looking for. The employees were always attentive and pleasant. Perhaps they will reconsider opening another store in its place now that 70% of the indigent population has moved to other areas as per city rules and regulations.Wishful thinking! 😎

The disrict manager was awesome. She helped me and my bf with a matter we had involving another employee.. She took the timed to review video to see that we weren't wrong. Their clearance section doesn't have much but when they do it's always good stuff.

This particular location was pretty cramped. The parking lot was nice. Customer service was kind of lacking. A lot of products (like coke 12 packs) needed to be stocked when I visited, maybe it's not always like that, I don't know. This location also had a nice selection of DVDs and very reasonably priced. Don't visit this place if you don't have patience or are in a particular mood, the service or speed at checkout might set you off.

In an emergency I was able to make it to this location only to find out they are close.. it’s 9:18 they don’t close till 10… thanks for being unreliable

The store is always busy with only one struggling overwhelmed cashier doing his/her best to take care of customers. I witnessed the cashier call for back up and someone stealing on the sales floor and no one helped. The manager was fooling around in the office while his/her employee was clearly stressed.

So many homeless people outside 😢 Before I could even get out of my car completely one man was rushing me for a cigarette and a woman was at my passenger window asking my friend if we had an extra blanket. Not to mention the one pack of 3 standing by the door one who took an electric chair from who even knows what store rushing up on every customer that attempt to walk in. Never again will I return!

Im a farmer who works hard..Was using gps, which said they were open..manager came out and asked , can i help you? and i asked are you open but she looked at me weird and said no “a very disrespectful no…So im not going there again

This is a great hidden multifunction store near downtown. Why cross the river or go uptown when you can stop by here for many minor shopping tasks and household items. There was a fire there the other day, so check on hours.

Clean clean clean...EVERY other "dollar store" you go into in this town, you are stepping around or over cases of product on the floor. Not here, coming from retail managment I know the struggle. This manager and their team should be commended.

Sorry, I'm not the only one who walked out. 3 of us. I didn't have that much time. We at La Pasada spend a lot of money here. A shift change shouldn't take that long. I realize it shouldn't be rushed. Handling Monies is Important.

Love the low prices. One of the clerks there is Monica. She's such a big help. We didn't have to be looking for our products. She knew exactly where they were. It was an efficient shopping trip with her help.

Clerk knew nothing of Western Union, assuming she was new, I wasn't harassed though. Its just the Fact that you must Download Western Union App to Receive Money, she had told me that but the Process was not in the norm I warn you. Thanks for your Patience

I love it here and the workers all know me and are all super nice and helpful and since I don't have a car at the moment the been so wounderful as to ask me if I wanted my stuff double bagged so it doesn't brake open when carrying home!

Always have good deals and several digital coupons to save money 💰! Store is clean and organized. Its never really to busy so its easy to grab what you need and be the only one at the cash register 😁

Went for TP picked up way more, the employees are friendly and you feel comfortable walking around to look( hence the leaving more then just TP). Happy to shop here.

I never had a problem here since the change over from the last little big box store that closed. I will come here when I really don't want to deal with the big box store Walmart. So in this review I will explain the differences. One, I have not been asked for spare change in the parking lot by bums or worried about my vehicles integrity at Dollar General. Second, after getting thru the parking lot at Walmart you are asked again for fundraisers before you get in the store but not at Dollar General. Three, once you get in to Walmart there is junk placed in the isles it makes difficult to navigate but not at Dollar General. Four, Walmart in an effort to get you to purchase more by walking around seeing more of their junk in the store leaves you looking for where they put what you are looking for this time compared to Dollar General where it hasn't changed where things are. Five, Walmart's new self check out software has no idea of what anything weighs and is annoying taking too much time while Dollar General doesn't have that feature, if you call it that. Five, when I'm done checking out at Dollar General I don't have to go thru the natural selection station to see if I'm the eligible one to prove everything in my cart is on my receipt. At least Costco checks everyone's receipt. Last, I do feel that everything I purchased is going with me out the door at Dollar General, how many times when using Walmart have you got home only to find out the rotational bagging thing got spun one extra time and you didn't get all your items? It's probably a billion dollar money maker for them. So to sum it up, I wish Dollar general carried more frozen, perishable, and shelf foods. I hate Walmart! I would love to see in the news someday...."Dollar General has decided to cater to the fast paced worker or parents with children by carrying better food products and selection. A kind of take off of the Walmart Neighborhood store but increasing the size instead of decreasing. By doing this it can save you time and probably lesson car accidents in this fast paced world we now live in," from the immortal words of SkriptKiddie.

I love to shop at Dollar General. Their prices are great! Every time I go in there I usually walk out with more than what I'm going in for.
