Pretty good barbequa and really good service (thanks, Miles).Vinegar based “Carolina” sauce. Not spicy, even the sausage. The most pleasant surprise was the side salad is the real deal.First time in - I’m a new regular after Sandia adventures.*** EDIT *** i just got home with the greene chile pork loin and my face is sweating 🌶️ 🌶️ (actual photo of its all gone although I meant to have it this weekend)

The pork ribs were fantastic, and the bread pudding was outstanding. However, the top bun on the Brisket sandwich was hard-as-a-rock (inedible). The sunset was beautiful through the large picture-windows, and the fireplace was a nice touch. They also had a live band at the bar. Be aware that on Wednesday and Thursday they close between 2 and 5PM.

Not to say that I was disappointed, but I certainly was not impressed.Luckily we decided to order dishes, instead of "all you can stand", as their beef rib and brisket moisture was not well seasoned, and dry; pull pork was also not well blended with gravy. One thing good about this place is their pork rib and their location 😁, it's up on the hill, if you're seated by the window, you get the view of the mountains.

We arrived & ordered appetizers at 6:30pm and didn't get our appetizers until after 7:05pm. I checked online the day before to make a reservation and it wouldn't let me. The friend we met up there with, called shortly before we wanted to come in and they let her make a reservation. Not sure what that's about. Our appetizers were very delicious. The bread came with a small basket of prepackaged butter and honey butter. The queso fries were slightly spicy but not bad for someone who doesn't like spicy. Our main dish didn't come out until 7:30pm which we were told was because there was a group of 50 from a bus, who came in (after we did, we noticed) and kept reordering so for some reason their group got priority over others in the restaurant. That did not make us very happy. We didn't see our waitress often but she seemed to do the best she could. Got us water refills towards the end of our meal, to go boxes, offered to bring us a container of the BBQ sauce which we loved but they don't sell. She also took a moment to take pictures of my friends and I.We'd go back, the food was really very good, service was okay, our server was kind but others , not as much. They did offer us a discount on our bill for the inconvenience of waiting so long for our food.

Just wow. Located at the foothills of Sandia Peak. The pork ribs, their three chilly stuffed pork tenderloin was filled flavor. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and patient. Served is with a smile. Hot brownie and ice cream OUT OF THE WORLD. Must TRY. DONT MISS THIS. Homew bread warm and yummy. Tortilla and the Salsa so good. Get in here and try them out!

Edit: lmao, I just discovered that this place is actually Texan...As a Texan, I'm ashamed to say this...no where near me has BBQ quite this solid. I've traveled all across the country and eaten at many BBQ joints big and small but this place was something special. There was only a 20 minute wait to be seated for a table of 2. Trevor was quite possibly the most attentive and service minded waiter I have had in a LONG time. He had excellent timing with everything AND appeared to have a full section. The food, 10/10 I ordered moist second cut brisket, sausage and pulled pork and could not have been more satisfied. I have to be honest here though, the meat was so good I never even dipped or dribbled any meat in their sauce. The review would not be complete without an honorable mention of the house made loaves of bread. MY GOD, it was good. Tall and thick slices of moist near cake like bread served with margarin and a whipped honey butter.Hope this helps, and I know if you decide to stop in...you will not be disappointed. And make sure to ask for Trevor!

Literally the worst bbq in all of Albuquerque. I should have left after tasting the water. It was chemically and disgusting, much like the food. I had the 5 meat combo and none of the items were good. NONE!!! Bbq was bland and hard, except for the turkey which was gross and mushy. The brisket was dry as a bone. The pork ribs were hard and gross. Beef rib was flavored weird. Chips were an ungawdly color of yellow. I literally wasted 1 while hour for the worst meal of my life. Other tables that came after me were served before me. The waiter was a rude young male with shaggy hair. Another red flag I should have watched out for. He never checked up on me or even cared why the food took so long. This place is worse than Rudy's. Bad food and bad service.

This is literally my favorite place to eat BBQ. Then they hired Sean the “server.” He immediately took our order so when almost an hour passes by with no food and no sign of Sean, I decide to let one of the other servers know we were leaving. 20 seconds later Sean shows up with my King Rib Platter, my wife’s brisket platter and my daughter’s Ribeye steak dinner, I was surprised that Sean acted like nothing happened and tried joking around about how messy my ribs can get so he gives us extra wipes as if he was doing us a favor. No I’m sorry for the hour wait. No anything for ruining our special night at County-line. Our food was at a minimum of lukewarm at least, cold fries cold sausage. I call the manager to show her what we have been waiting for the last hour. She swiftly got me hot ribs and sausage. My wife and daughter were so hungry they just ate theirs cold. Although we got an unrequested discount for our food. The entire moment was gone. Happy and exited to eat at our favorite BBQ place then boxing up everything an hour later with extreme disappointment. All and all with Sean never showing the slightest respect or apology for ruining our night. Time for a new place to spend upwards of $100 I guess….

Not the best bbq spot we have been to, but the location was great! I had a hard time giving 3 stars, as the service was wonderful, and our waitress was so sweet! :) However as for the cons, the price was too expensive for what you get, and the taste was just “okay”. Overall not bad, but not worth going again due to the price/overall quality. Could have just been an “off” night (due to it being during the ABQ balloon fiesta), however might give it another shot if in a bind, due to them being open late.

We had our work Christmas party (30 people) here on a Saturday night. Everything was awesome!! Our private room was ready on time, tables set up nicely, fireplace wonderful, appetizers served on time, drinks always filled, food delicious! Will do this again. Our servers were friendly and took very good care of us. The restaurant was busy with other customers and we were not their only party but we did not feel like it. All tables in our party were served food at the same time and it was hot and delicious. Kudos to our servers and the restaurant.

Visited for lunch and had a great experience with amazing food. Plenty of parking and patio seating along with limited indoor seating due to the state’s current Covid-19 restrictions. We had the green chile stew, cheeseburger and brisket tacos. Everything was prepared great and exactly what we ordered. We’ll definitely be back.

Ordered take out during off hours. It took about 25 minutes longer than estimated on the website. The service was not overtly rude, but they were unexpectedly curt to my wife. The portions are small for the price but the quality of the meat was good. The brisket was tender and the turkey moist. We used bbq sauce we had at home—perhaps a preference more than issue of quality, but theirs is very acidic. Maybe the dine-in experience is better.

I have to admit I was super excited for this place looking at their website. However it was a bit disappointing. The "nicely" marbled rib eye was very small for the price and so full of gristle that I could barely eat it. Their signature bread was very dense and a bit dry. Most of the time I can find good in a place but I was so disappointed with the quality to price ratio. I had a much better steak at a chain restaurant.

I ordered green chili pork loin, which I love green chili but the way it is prepared... never eating there again, never had a salty coleslaw, was terrible! Pork ribs were dry and hard with no taste, baked potato was overly stuffed with cream, fried okra had no taste. We couldn't finish our plate, couldn't keep down the food and ended getting sick in the parking lot....was sick most of the evening.... never going back!

5/4/21: Last minute, 6:30p online dinner reservation with family. Restaurant was partially occupied due to COVID-19 spacing and possibly being a weeknight (not sure).I don't often give restaurants "room to really improve" reviews, yet I have given this establishment previous attempts. County Line BBQ has some good qualities, but not enough to get me to return.Emily, our server, was helpful; the restaurant's location is inviting, ample parking space(s) and great view(s) of the city and mountains.Order was chicken fried steak, cajun fries and beans, water. Upcharge for sides that aren't beans, cole slaw, potato salad, regular fries, side salad or side of the day. Another family member ordered a Bar-B-Q stuffed baked potato with lean brisket, Coke; and 3rd family member ordered a brisket moist plate with coleslaw and potato salad, water.Chicken fried steak temperature was very hot and yummy. Would re-order the chicken fried steak. The cajun fries was lukewarm at best and the seasoning was unimpressively bland. I can't even explain the taste of the beans. Perhaps more seasoning is needed or no seasoning at all. Informed the server (Emily) about the fries and a fresh batch of hot, regular fries was sent out.My dad ordered his Baked potato to not include the aluminum foil and the server said she would ensure foil was removed. Baked potato came out wrapped in foil. Something minor but my dad has his reason for asking this special request. He only ate a portion of his meal. The 3rd order was okay, yet lacked taste (lean brisket, potato salad, coleslaw). Husband has a high probability of eating all his food, but this time I would've lost my own wager. He said that he'd definitely not return due to food quality issues. Unfortunately nor will I be back.

Brought my son here for his bday. I ordered the catfish plate. Delicious! Very large serving. My son ordered the pulled pork sandwich. Definitely good pulled pork. We ordered the cheesecake with strawberry sauce to celebrate. It was a really huge piece but definitely not a problem for me. Absolutely delicious!

Our group was 24 adults. Christmas party in a private room. Excellent service and food. Very accommodating. We arrived at opening and when all arrived about an hour later, we were served. Wait staff asked for a 10 minute signal before the food was to be served. Very nice.Parking: Limited close-up parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Limited number of spots.

Great barbecue! I enjoyed the tap of the day; which was a smooth Cerveza. We split a brisket tacos appetizer and it was a good indicator that the rest of the meal was going to be quality. Following that I had a 1/2 rack of beef ribs; they use a great rub and the smoke flavor was rich throughout. Good chance I’ll visit again next time I’m in town.

Amazing food! Everything ordered exceeded expectation. We ordered a half rack of the St. Louis ribs, the lite portion of the 2nd cut marbled brisket, Cajun fries, the onion and bacon green beans, and the house made fresh bread. Everything was hot and delicious. Fabulous dinner!

Shame on you County Line BBQ, this place is advertised as being fine dining. Thursday nights are not that. Last night was the last straw, music is suppose to end at 8:30, so I came in late to avoid the music. Music still going, bar was packed with drunk people dancing, customer with no shoes, barking like dogs, and acting like fools. Music was only suppose to be during the summer and now it’s all year and it’s become nothing but a trashy bar. If this continues I will contacting corporate. Maybe it’s time for new management.
