5 stars is not near enough for the Menaul location. They are always so welcoming and friendly. They always go out of their way to help me with my dogs, cats, parakeets. I want to give a huge shout out to Sam. I believe he is the dept head for the fish. Sam always takes the time to teach me. I was brand new at getting fish over a year ago and I asked Sam a million questions. He always knew the answer and he was always right. I made a couple of mistakes over the year but Sam never made me feel bad. I love my TWO aquariums and I want to get a 3rd.... Thank you Sam!!!!

What a cool store! Lots of variety. Staff is very knowledgeable and passionate about pets and their products. Fun reptile room to check out while you're there. They do a reward program for buying pet food too to earn a free bag of food. Definitely recommend this store to anyone who loves pets.

Huge shout to Jorge for helping me out. He was very knowledgeable about the products carried and help me find a sensible, and good choice for my pet needs as they require a specific diet. Sam is very knowledgeable and always willing to help educate customers. All fish are healthy and well taken care of. I like to keep high end cichlids, this store is the only one I trust to stock my tanks.

There are no pressure sales, but they do ask if they can help you. We ended up buying a couple of parakeets and necessary equipment. Nice people, and they're very knowledgeable on all the creatures. They had everything we were looking for!

The staff is always friendly but their buy 11 bags of dog food get your 12th one free is fiction. I've bought dozens of bags and always checked which bag I was on. I'd get up to bag 8 and then get knocked down to bag 5, over and over. If you're not going to honor your deals, don't offer it.

Had a great experience at Clark's today. One young female employee allowed my grandson pet a ginnea pig knowing we weren't there for that pet. She even let him name it, Butterscotch, based on a small patch of its fir. Another young man helped him pick feeder goldfish for our pond. Clean, friendly staff, great selections and good pricing. Give them a visit and they won't disappoint. :)

They helped me get rid of a nasty algae problem. Black Beard Algae messes up the inside walls and objects in your fresh water fish tank. They also advised me how to keep it away and now I again have the happiest fish in town.

Bleu, my bearded dragon, recommends Clark's. She says their Dubia roaches are delicious. She likes hers with a side of large cricket and greens. Meal worms don't really appeal to her.I buy from Clark's for 2 main reasons!!1) The crickets aren't ½ dead already as with other places. They are healthy and active. Good quality. Their Dubia roaches are excellent as well. So, QUALITY!2) Every time I visit, I get greeted by a kind, friendly, and helpful staff. This is true for both locations.Both locations are clean as well.

Clark's always has the best of everything. ( including staff)My only complaint, for lack of a better word, (grievance maybe?), is the prices.Doesn't stop me from shopping there, but it's no longer my one stop shop for all my pet needs.

We live 3 hours away and drive down to Clark's because of their reptiles. Every time we visit the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. So far have 2 Tarantulas and a Scorpion. Will be back to peruse for more creepy crawlies!

Thanks to fish Mike! He salvaged what was a disastrous trip 2 Clarks. I had been overlooked by multiple employees and had requested help from many, but fish Mike to the rescue! He was truly apologetic on behalf of the company and for the ill treatment I had received. He was thoughtful and truly problem solving the issue that I had come to Clarks to get resolved. Clark's is a niche specialty type of supply store for pets. They have extensive knowledge and supplies in ponds, this was the impetus for my trip to Clarks. As with most of my reviews it's ultimately the interaction with exceptional employees that make or break an interaction with a business.

Got a cute little hammy. He seems healthy enough. We were able to find all the accessories we needed and got the essential info from the employees. They were all friendly. My only complaint is we stood around waiting for someone to help us and 2 employees were chatting away not too far from us and didn't seem to realize we were there. But once they noticed we were given prompt and friendly service. The cashier seemed especially excited for our new pet. I would definitely go back and I would recommend it to my friends and family.

Really great place to get stuff for your pet I got my bearded dragon online but this place had a bunch of great stuff for him so overall I love it and it's only in new Mexico I'm pretty sure so go and support it.EDIT: turns out she's a girl

Always love Clark's! Prices are pretty good. Over the years the quality of customer service has gone down but pretty ok for the most part. My ONLY complaint is the hours. It's hard to make it after work during the week due to the 6pm closing time. Wed they close at 7pm which is a little better. Would be nice if all the days were 7pm closing time.

This is a very exciting store!! It's large and completely organized. All types of projects for all our furry and feathered friends.The people are excellent at their job.One young man in the department where there is treats, chew bones, dog biscuits.It was an amazing experience and educational on so many goodies for our pets. This place is awesome! Got my cat from here on my birthday a few years back! They also guided us in the right direction for supplements to help my Dobermans coat! Would give 5 stars but they've been out of crickets for my Gecko the last 3 visits.

I love coming here especially working with Sam on what works well with my freshwater system. Great trades when I need them. I see my donations sell as well. Satisfied and greatly appreciated on the help. Recently purchased a "leopard" pleco. And adopted "big bertha" (store named) koi betta.

We had an idea of what we were looking for but Sam was very informative of species of freshwater fish. I would highly recommend to speak with Sam if you're unsure what to put in your aquarium tank.

George helped me find the perfect medium size cat tree for my queen. In no time at all, Nova was zooming all over, on, and around the cat nip treated furniture. I was initially weary of the price, but even the first day of kitty happily playing for hours was priceless. Thank you!

I usually don't do reviews but this place absolutely has the worst customer service experience ever!!!! I walked in with my grandchildren and a elderly man o care.for and not one single smile, hello or how can i help you. Their faces dropped in Disgust as we walked in... but they happend to say to a man walking in hello how can we help you. I should of walked out but decided to show the kids the fish and purchase pond food for our fish. While waking to the back a guy with long hair walked past us and said if you need help just ask... not even stopping to say hi can I help you? Nothing!!! Never will I spend a penny here again! I'm not going to use the race card but it sure felt we were totally not welcomed ... 😕

Been going to Clark's for a long time. They are a little pricey but they always have what I need. I like to support local businesses! Go here! Most all the employees are very knowledgeable and more than willing to help you with any questions or concerns. Go here!

Came in for some fish yesterday, ended up getting a new tank and was not allowed to buy the fish or put the fish on hold. Came back first thing today to get the fish. The same guy who helped yesterday acknowledged he would help us in a minute, he was with someone else so we stood around in front of the fish we were there to buy. The worker then starts suggesting and trying to selling the fish we were there to buy. He was very convincing and of course they bought the fish I was there for. I feel manipulated and strabbed in the back after this experience so I walked out and probably won't be shopping here again even though I've been a frequent shopper.I guess shopping local doesn't always mean good customer service or support.
