So as a member of the entertainment industry I was asked to try this place from fellow members of PRO WRESTLINGS Duke City Championship Wrestling as apparently they frequent the location this day I had the pleasure of trying this eatery for the first time I wasn't sure how to take it wasn't sure if was Infused or just themed (Just Themed) but the food was decent and decently priced be fair Warned if coming from COLORADO They DO NOT Accept Digital ID has a Pinner aka second largest size of Meatball Sandwich The Flavor wasn't over bearing the cheese blend was well put together, toasted Bread I had the Garlic bread nice twist, nice firm meatball plenty of sauce NOT OVER Saturated The eye catchers tho were the RICE CRISPY Treats HUGE, the Staff Was Polite and afforded me the luxury of being addressed as my professional name "SIZZLE" Plenty of seats for our entire crew and staff parking wasn't bad, overall enjoyable experience my associates really enjoyed it full bar in addition to quality sandwiches.

So, I have been to this location multiple times. It was gradually getting worse. Items kept not being fulfilled. However, tonight was the worst experience I've ever had. Went to work at 5am, got off at 7 pm. My wife asked me to order subs. We have never had less meat put on our subs here before. The flavor has almost a hundred percent changed. I have a two year old daughter who happens to love peanut butter and jelly.... Not only did I list it for her indicating she was obviously a baby.... The tinfoil was wrapped around these sandwiches so tight that they were inside of the sandwiches, and pulling peanut butter and jelly out of tinfoil proved difficult My daughter started trying to take bites from the peanut butter and jelly sub, and I noticed she was having a very hard time. For whatever reason, tearing the bread by taking bites. I went to go and try and split the sandwich in half. And the bread was just very stuck together if that makes sense. While I went to go and get a knife. I had noticed two to three fairly long strands of hair. If these hairs were clearly black. My daughter has light brown hair. So obviously, that upset me even more, and I ended up throwing that one away and making her a peanut butter and jelly sandwich here at home. I ordered the dank sub like I always. This time, I think it had one of the worst flavors i've tasted. Opening up the sub. I also noticed basically only a couple of slices of meat in the sub. My wife orders the same thing every time as well, that being the Midwest best.... again, the meats and other garnishment were slept into the sub, again almost minimal quantities of meat, tomatoes were soggy and limp, as was the slender slice of pickle. Again, Flavor was just not there. 14.09 for hers, with that quality or lack there of, mine 14.84, the worst dank sub I've ever had from there, hair and basically staled bread in my daughter's PB&J???? TF!?Now.... I waited to get to the restaurant to order our drinks, chips, and dessert... my bad, I should have tasted the kool-aid first, mainly water.....The cookie was good, and obviously, the chips come bagged. 53.67 was the total with the two receipts added together. The online order is 35.47, plus I gave a 5.00 tip.... because normally, I never thought I'd be this disappointed. You can't just charge these prices, then cut the quantities in under half of what it used to be, and for half the quality it used to be. It is very disappointing to work all day, pick up food that should have been the high point of my extensive day, and come home to have to make food anyway.... very upsetting.And come on guys, the PB@J was clearly for a kid..... put your hair up and get some fresh bread so they don't rip out their new teeth or choke on it.I would also highly suggest, especially for takeout orders, to stop tapping the bags closed so the customer can't sit there and confirm the order before leaving. If I'd seen this before I left the resterauant, I would not have left. Also, you guys have to do better with that tinfoil. I shouldn't have to pull pieces out of my sub.

We loved the food here. The sandwiches were delicious and I don’t know what kind of dressing they put on top, but it was very good.Funny enough, I didn’t realize until about 10 minutes after we arrived and was looking around the restaurant that there was a very specific theme to the restaurant that I had completely missed initially when we arrived. 😏

Have only been there once. Great first impression👍. I liked the freshness of the food. The prices were reasonable.Service: When I walked in to pick up my order, I went straight to the register/the ordering side. The guy asked me how could he help me and I said I had a pick up. The pick up, I didn’t realize, was on the way other side of the counter. He didn’t gripe but kindly walked me over to the pick up side to get my order and then gave it to me. Excellent customer service, good atmosphere 👍

Cashier at the Central location was rude and was the same person that gave me my order. The order in the bag was all wrong, the sizes and types of sandwiches and sides ($40 worth). I presented my receipt and explained and was told to go back through the line and reorder and pay again...huh? No, I paid the correct amount and the receipt showed the correct items but not what I was given. Never again!

Dropped in for a bite after being on the road for 10 hours. Great vibe, beer, and sandwiches. They had karaoke going outside which didn’t bleed into the indoor space. Price was reasonable for what we ordered. We’d definitely stop again if we’re ever around. 😎Parking: After 7pm street parking is free!

Yummy! We got the Power Plant and the A-Train Veggie subs on pretzel bread and both were delicious! The A-train reminds me of a meatball sub, minus the meatballs.The place has a unique environment. I really enjoyed it. I will stop by next time I’m in the area.

I liked this place a lot it has a great atmosphere. The food was good I had the Apollo 11 (greek) the dishes themselves were good; I went with my family we each got something different and each of us enjoyed the food. They have a great variety of sandwiches with many options for dietary restrictions. The reason I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 star is because it's very loud this is not a problem when you are at the table or eating but I was a bit hard to order when you can't realy hear what the order taker is saying and they also can't realy hear you. Overall though it was good.

Absolutely the best sandwich I've had in the ABQ ever, I'm an out of town visitor from California, and highly recommend this "joint"; they also have a bar serving cocktails, and beer.Be sure to tip these hard workers.Thank you Cheeba Hut!

The sandwiches are great. The bar has great specials and down to earth bartenders. I enjoy spending time at the Harvard Cheba Hut.Edit 4/2/24: This past week they changed the menu, that's not a problem, change is good, however they are not honoring the new prices. This is starting to frustrated me and several others. Please get the proper buttons to honor your new menu! Example, the $2 upcharge for the well shots with any beer purchase is not available on the register, so they will not honor it even though it's on the menu. I know it's new, but cheba should be honoring the menu regardless. 😒

Ordered online the magic mushroom sandwich with teriyaki and house sauces on the side. Instead of any side sauces, I got a drizzle of oil, outside of the aluminum foil, so I needed to get my own plate. Ate one bite, bread seemed on point(wheat), veggies were average(stems on pickles, green on one tomato). After picking apart the sandwich, I found some white filmy stuff that may have been the cheese soaking up pineapple juices, or a different kind of cheese, but I'm skeptical. I threw it away because I straight up don't trust it.Y'all wanna enlighten me?I also ordered the pretzel nugs and asked for easy garlic butter, but they were soaked. I remember why I stopped eating out.Thanks for the reminder.

The kgb was phenomenal. And so was my girls Panama red. This place was so chill, and the location is key to any students looking for great subs. Being so close to UNM. And being I was given clerks 2 as our name and customer flag was crazy. Love Jay and silent bob. Jay and Kevin rock. Just like this food.

Devastated that they would change a perfect recipe - now there’s gross random captain crunch bits in the fruity bar. The texture and taste are off, and my favorite treat is ruined. :( The old recipe was much better!Edit: thankfully, after being a hater, Cheba hut switched back to the old recipe <3 so I gave them their stars back

If I could I would give them 0 stars but I can’t, the reason for such a poor rating is because I waited over 60min for a “nug” white widow and never received it after telling the sandwich maker multiple times I’ve been waiting. My slime demanded a refund and they it’s going to take 2 business days.

Absolutely delicious sandwiches! The garlic bread is the best. I got a kali mist and my hub got a KGB. Both are superb. Staff is super friendly. Music and ambiance (at lunch time) was fantastic. Will definitely return.

Always great sandwiches, if you order at the right times. Once they get busy your food is either ok or cold. No in between but I still order once a week. Get the KGB. Can't go wrong with that one. They have a new sauce they add to all sandwiches and it does make the whole thing even better

Went here on a whim and it was delicious. The subs were fresh and quickly brought out. I got the 5-0 and my husband got the Midwest Best and we were both very happy. They have fun drinks with Koolaid and a bar. You won’t be disappointed with the subs.

Ordered online, arrived and still had to wait 10-15 min for sandwich to be made which is fine but when the sandwich was done it was completely wrong and disgusting!! I tired to eat a sandwich that wasn’t even what I ordered just to save them a complaint but after eating the sandwich, I’d say save your money or go to their other location on Menaul!

So, four days ago by complete happenstance I encountered this spot while on foot in the neighborhood after leaving Smith's. The place looked kind of busy and popular. Being unfamiliar and still sorta new to Albuquerque I checked the shop out online. I liked what I saw and the next evening I turned up for dinner. I had the KGB full sub. Roast Beef and horseradish sauce on toasted white with all the trimmings. It was truly delicious. Really, really good. It wasn't until I sat down at a booth for my short wait that I noticed their theme of marijuana. Ha! The green leaves were everywhere. Sandwich options were named after pot strains. Even on the takeout bags. I had a great experience at this tremendous sandwich restaurant. Totally recommend if in the area. Warning: Tragic Hipster Alert but who cares.

I not impressed. I wish I could give no stars. This was my first time eating and this place. They made my sandwich with pickles and onions as I requested not to have as I'm allergic to them. Please see pics and receipt. I was not happy when trying to contacting the store. I was on hold for a long time. I understand you are busy, but you should really talk to your customers and listen to complaints. I could have been injured and then you would have been sued over your employees not paying attention.
