I’ve never been to a tractor supply store but boy was I surprised. From the name I thought there would be things relating to trailers and tractors but my mind was BLOWN! They sell kayaks, clothing, shoes, farm supplies and snacks, items for cleaning your farm animals, pet food and supplies, and other gardening equipment. I also saw some ducklings which was very different for this city slicker. Talking to another customer they also sell chicks. WHAT!!I didn’t purchase anything as I was looking for a shelf. But I did see one of the associates helping an older gentleman with a battery issue. The gentleman wasn’t sure if the battery in stock would work on his equipment. They were different brands. The associate opened the package, provided battery to the customer with instructions and apparently the equipment worked without any issues. The associate then did some quick checks and explained that if he had further issues he could return. Now that’s good customer service.

This is the worst TSC I’ve ever had to deal with. They never keep dog food or cat litter stocked and every time I go in there is one person checking 5-8 people in line and 3 people standing around. Today one was literally leaning on the other counter. I get being busy but everyone doesn’t have 30 minutes to stand in line. I’ll take my business to Chewy.

They don't have enough people who can refill propane. The one person who does goes home at 2pm if they're even available. Cortez Gas up the road is more reliable.It's a shame because Tractor Supply has been our go to propane supplier on the road

Been here twice to get propane with no luck. Last night they said come back tomorrow the guy that fills isn’t here now we will have him call you tomorrow when he gets in. Never heard from him took a ride up there this afternoon yep he’s gone again was told he was only there from 9-1:30. Save yourselves the time and go somewhere else to get propane!

So sad you can’t leave an honest review on their own website. They moderate it so much you can’t be honest so others can avoid the same issues I did. Online customer service is horrible. So bad the employees won’t even call it because they aren’t helpful.I purchased a chicken coop from them and the delivery issues with their in house shipping is also horrible. They kept saying it was on the way and it was still sitting on the manufacturer’s shipping dock for two weeks. I know this because I contacted the manufacturer myself. And the lady at the warehouse was very helpful she found me a coop that another vendor had in stock. Now that was some old fashioned customer service. I ended up getting it from a Big R for less money but I had to travel almost 200 miles round trip. First time in a Big R but will definitely visit each time going through that town. Their clothing department was as big as Tractor Supply’s entire store. It was definitely worth the extra miles.Big box store customer service at our local tractor supply store is great but corporate suck’s rotten goose eggs.

This used to be my goto place for propane refills. I went in there in the early afternoon and was told the guy who fills propane tanks was on a conference call. Came back about an hour latet and was told he wasn't there. The told me about another place I could go, but it was way to far away.This isn't the only store that I have had this problem with. It used to be a place you could count on. Going elsewhere from now on.

I have been trying to get Dumor Senior Equine feed for several weeks. The Alamogordo,NM store never has it. I have been buying this for several years. I have asked the manager and he tells me he has no control what they receive in the shipments. This is a very poor way to do business. When you have customers who have been buying items.

A Hispanic man long sleeve shirt fluorescent yellow long sleeve construction shirt blue jeans short hair. Tried carjacking me at the alamogordo store in front of parking lot in front of the doors . Noone got it on camera? I don't believe it. He was in his 30s or 40s. This happened about a month ago! This is what happens when police get defunded. The police in alamo will not protect you or follow up on anything. I keep seeing the guy in town!!!

They didn't have what we needed, even though online it said it did. Which is understandable; however, Rudy was extremely condescending and said "don't believe what you read on the internet." He was extremely rude and I will not be shopping at this location anymore.

They have one person who can refill propane, and he goes home at 2pm. Doesn't anybody work an 8 hr day anymore??? Three people standing around doing nothing. Train someone else.

Tried to get propane at this location two different times, two different days. Was told there is only two people that can do the propane. So propane is not readily available. Very disappointed that a service they offer is not offered all the time. Management needs to train more employees to fulfill the job function. However the rest of the staff was very nice.

We bought a generator on line over three weeks ago... it moved thru five states in the first 3 days then sat in Albuquerque for 10 days now it has been in Las cruces for four days. They are claiming delivery to the store is tomorrow which this is the third time they have claimed this... what a joke.. this has been the worst experience ever. I will never again give them a penny of my money......edited: I have already called customer solutions 3 times and all I get is a it will be tomorrow why would I call again?

Well it's a good place in all. The customer service could be better. I mean the employees should know what the products they or used for. For instance, change saw chains. If you trying to sale it to me, or I ask for help, the customer service representative should know what chain will work with my saw. Just my opinion .

EDIT 3/6/2020: CURTIS from Tractor Supply district office is now harassing my husband via email and phone, trying to reiterate that they are right and my husband is mistaken (basically calling him a liar, repeatedly), trying to guilt trip us because they "went out of the way to get a welder from Roswell" and "offered to take it back..." NOTE that this is a very heavy item that my disabled husband cannot load alone and the original welder they sold us WAS damaged when we unpacked it (the local store manager did compensate us accordingly- to our satisfaction IF the credit card had REMAINED interest free for the 36 months promised as it WAS for the first two months), but I am sure, given the nature of the reps we have talked to, they would not accept it back.BE AWARE of how this company operates before you buy a large, expensive item on their promises!!Nice polite personnel, would gladly give 5 stars except for the fact that they gave us the option of 36 months, no interest, on a purchase on the Tractor Supply credit card, and now claim that that option doesn't exist!! Please note that the first month we were not charged interest, the second month we were charged interest, but a quick call to the bank (Citibank) got it removed. Third month, interest has been charged again. The store blames Citibank, Citibank blames the store for this mix-up, which is going to cost us in the neighborhood of $300-$400 by the time it is paid off!! Shredding the card now and will be shopping elsewhere whenever possible- this is an unacceptable business practice!NOTE: Can't seem to reply to the response to original post, but : My husband already called corporate and talked to a Jacob- a snotty person who claims that it was a store mistake and "we should have checked the receipt", even tho we selected the option of "36 months, no interest" on the keypad when checking out. All we have gotten is the run-around!!

Went to KBobs for a birthday lunch. Food was very good. Salad bar was very fresh. Steaks were tender even cooked well done. I had a complimentary cheesecake. And was sang happy birthday to. Very nice experience.

Not a very good experience... The manager Alex was a total jerk. The two bags of poltury feed I was buying were placed under a sale sign and they tried to charge me full price. When I told them they just said they the dumb teenage kids that work for them must had screwed up. I told them that this wasn't the only time this has happened. Nothing but rudeness. I try to go in the evening so I don't have to deal with that manager.

Staff is very courteous and helpful. They carry a variety of dog and cat food as well as for other farm animals and are very knowledgeable about the differences. They have clothes and boots, yard equipment, fencing, tools. Great store for outdoor needs.

I bought a fruit tree about 2 weeks ago and it had blight which is highly contagious and will take out your whole Orchard so I pulled up the tree and I went to the cashier at Tractor Supply with my receipt in my hand and straight off he said I can't give you your money back, I said why?! I just bought this tree about two weeks ago so he said oh and he give me my money back and I said I wanted to talk to a manager and he said he was the manager, so I told him that they should contact the company they are buying the trees from and complain ,but he said he wouldn't know who to contact. I will never buy another fruit tree there again. Also when I bought the tree the cashier told me they have a 1 year Guarantee! So that made me upset when the manager said I can't give you your money back before even looking at my receipt. Don't get me wrong I really like that man hes always nice to me, so maybe he was just having a bad day or something. I just wish they could contact the tree company and complain, because what if someone didn't know their tree had blight and it killed all of their other fruit trees that would be really sad.

Real good store. Clean, decent inventory. The music they play kinda sucks though. Reccomend wearing ear plugs or bluetooth air buds, so you can avoid the painful music they play. But other than that. It's a good store.

I thought this place was only for farmers and boy was I wrong! They have a great variety of things including but not limited to pet supplies, garden supplies, yard work supplies, truck supplies, nice clothing, and pretty much anything else you would need to work on anything outside the house! Check the adds online to find the sales, and you won’t regret it! They also do free things for customers such as pet nail clippings, so check up for those times. Take time to check out Tractor Supply and you will be happy you did!

We just paid $9 less for our choice of dog food than at Petsense, where we usually have to purchase either our second or third choice because they are out of stock). The store was clean, organized and well stocked but didn't feel cluttered like Petsense does. They have a different rewards program, but they do have one! Happy shoppers :)

Always love the variety but hate the fact that the last couple of times me and husband went.... we get followed by security. I totally get it being a business owner but the least they can do is try and be a bit more incognito (ninja) Now if its not security then ya'll really need it!! (Creepy)
