My little shih tzu is just a puppy and very rambunctious so I was hesitant to take him to a groomer. I’m so happy I found Pampered Pooches. The owner is warm and friendly and it’s obvious she’s dealt with all types of dogs of all sizes and ages. He looks sooo handsome and smells beautiful and he’s happy and excited. Will continue going here for as long as we’re in Alamogordo. HIGHLY recommend to anyone that needs their baby groomed with love and precision.

Eva has been grooming our Cairn terrier for a couple of years and we are extremely pleased with the results. She treats our dog as her own and it’s been a great experience for all concerned.

Very sweet staff. My dog got something stuck in his paw hair and they got it off in a few seconds with no pain to him.Building is so cute too!Thanks ladies!!!

My dogs have seen several groomers over their lives and this was one of the best! She was able to get my dogs in the next day and did a wonderful job. Most impressed with the fades she did around their faces and paws!

We have been taking our Shih-Tzu to Pampered Pooches Grooming Spa for close to two years now. Eva, the Owner, has always been his one and only groomer. When we picked him up today we noticed he had received a pretty bad cut (ears, tail and head were so poorly trimmed it looked like a five year old did it) We were charged $65 for this bad job. When we asked to speak to her- she let us know she had turned over the “job” to another groomer/business (operating under her same roof) named Spa Fur Paws and that Jordan had been his groomer. Jordan is her daughter and admitted to having little to no experience with small breeds. We were completely unaware she was handing over “doggie clients” to her inexperienced daughter without prior consent of the Owner. When asked to remedy the problem- she refused and wouldn’t take responsibility. She’s an incredibly defensive and argumentative individual. This is a bait and switch operation. Under her company name, “Pampered Pooches Grooming and Spa” she advertises 21 years experience (according to her) but when dropping off your pets- what you really get is her inexperienced daughter charging the same high rate for terrible grooming service. This is super unethical and unprofessional. Not to mention dangerous if you lack experience with all size breeds. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Look for an honest Groomer!

Courteous, fast, respectful did an amazing job on my dad's dog!!! Love ❤️ this place. This is Toby he is a 10 1/2 year old senior. He did great for his first appointment they handled him beautifully. Considering he hated his nails clipped. They did a great job!

These folks were awesome! I got an appointment quickly and they followed up. I have a Great Pyrenees. Lotsa hair! Other places wanted a fortune. This place was professional, courteous, and reasonably priced. Great folks and and great business! Will recommend and go back!

The two groomers in this building are phenomenal, they are the best groomers I have ever been to. I wouldn't dream of taking my dogs to any other shop after having both vanessa and April take care of my dogs. They also have some of the best prices I've been able to find around town.

They do an amazing job with my dog. He has a lot of anxiety when being groomed. The groomer always treats him kindly and gets him done quickly. Tebow loves going and comes home happy. He always looks amazing too! For an owner who has had lots of bad experiences with groomers due to my dogs anxiety, this place has been a God send!

While on Vacation our 6 month old Toy Poodle Max needed a bath and his face trimmed. They were able to get him in before we left town and did an awesome job. Plus Max was able to run around and play with some of the other dogs! Thanks for doing such a great job. Hope to see you again next time we are in the area.

We're in town for a couple of months & needed to get our lil boy's nails trimmed. We were able to walk-in without an appt & were out in less than 20 mins. April did an amazing job & must have a special energy about her because usually our lil boy is difficult but he behaved for April. Thank you so much! The salon was welcoming, clean & nicely decorated.

This place knows how to work with dogs and they do a great job grooming them. Our Chow Chow came in with a lot of fur and came out looking trimmed up and beautiful. I highly recommend them.
