Was passing through Alamogordo and stopped here for breakfast. The chai truly is the best in town, and the iced matcha was also delightful. Took their recommendation to do the roast beef sandwich on wheat bread with sweet relish, and absolutely loved it. The crossaint-wich was also fantastic. This seems like a great place to enjoy a quiet, leisurely breakfast. We're planning to stop here again when we pass through on our way back home. 👍

We LOVE Mad Coffee. Whenever we come over from New Zealand to visit family in NM we always stop in at Mad Coffee as often as we can. It is our go to place in Alamogordo for brunch/lunch/snacktime. I am totally addicted to the Veggie Bagels, my husband goes for the GF chicken/turkey salad options and the DF smoothies. I LOVE all the different flavour options for the frappes.The ambiance is great, relaxed, friendly staff, and the tables are not crowded together so plenty of space.Can't wait to get back again :-)Vegetarian options: they will alter menu items to suit your needs if they canDietary restrictions: Gf bread, & df smoothies available and they will later according to your wishesKid-friendliness: theres a play area for children

oh my gosh!!! The smoothie and croissant-wich were so delicious!! I had just gotten off work and wanted a quick bite and something to drink, gosh I’m glad I chose to stop by on my way home. I would’ve taken a picture of my order but it was too good, it didn’t last long lol! And great service as well. Definitely coming back soon! Thank you guys for making my morning!

This place has absolutely incredible homemade bagels and great coffee! You can tell the owner is really hardworking and cares about his business and his customers.Just an awesome, unassuming small business with exceptional food and service. I Love MOD Coffee! My favorite coffee shops in Alamogordo! This is their second location . The atmosphere is unparalleled. This location even has a children's play area. The staff is so very friendly, fun and accommodating. They have a limited liquid sugar free selection compared to the Mall location, hopefully they expand soon. However they have a fabulous baked goods selection. The largest and most amazing iced lattes ever! I love the Joe's organic coffee they use, it's delicious! Overall this place is devine. A lot of bang for your buck. I'm curiouser and curiouser for more.

I didn’t see any reviews about iced lattes so I figured I’d make one. I’ve been all over the country, and it’s hard to mess up a simple latte with oatmilk, however this was the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Tasted like burnt coffee grounds. I asked for it to be sweetened with honey and it was not sweet at all. The milk they use is great value brand so I knew right away I was in for a doozy. If you’re looking for good coffee in Alamogordo, you won’t find it unfortunately

Greeeaaaat place to get a smoothie. 👍 Definitely coming here on the hottest days. Coffee is not the strongest, so prepare for mostly milk with some coffee. Love the ambiance. I think it's weird that the one on 10th street has no pictures of the inside, so I'm adding them here. Coffee was delicious and it was easy to find. I loved the decor and theme of the place. The service wasn't good. When I entered the staff was in the back and no one came to greet me. I stood there for about 5 minutes before I left. When u came back there was as woman there who looked like she hated life at the counter. Didn't say anything to me for 2 minutes and when she did it was very to the point and unfriendly sounding. Coffee was wonderful but service bad.

Friendly staff, cool atmosphere. Came in today for the first time today. We had the egg and bacon bagel with a chocolate chip frappe. The rest of the food menu looks delicious. There was a play area for the kiddos, which is a breath of fresh air for this town. 10/10 would recommend.

What a wonderful find!!As a Kiwi not adjusting well to the generic fast food culture I felt like I was coming home when I walked in the Mad Coffee door. Paradise smoothie was just SO good. Muffins were delicious. Staff were friendly & helpful. Loved the Alice in Wonderland theme. We will definitely be returning 😊

This place is adorable! It was perfect for the small lunch we were looking for. I got the Popeye smoothie and chicken salad sandwich, my boyfriend got the blueberry yum smoothie and egg salad sandwich. Everything was dance-in-my-seat delicious. The service was great as well. The only thing I can complain about is that the bathroom could be cleaner but I've experienced worse at "fancier" $$$ establishments. If I lived around here this would be my go to.

Fantastic!!!!! I got the tweedlebeet juice this morning and oh my gosh I wish I had a gallon of it it was made so perfectly! The young lady had great service, friendly smile and got my juice out quickly! This is definitely worth trying!! I’ll be back 😊

I went to Mad Coffee while I was visiting my family and meeting my niece. The experience was phenomenal. The staff were very friendly, greeted me when I arrived and chatted with me about the menu options. There were a lot of exciting choices and I went with a Mocha and a breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The mocha was one of the best I ever had! The perfect amount of chocolate to compliment the espresso. The bagel, which is locally made, was perfect for the sandwich which had generous amounts of veggies and bacon.The best part was that they had a space for kids to play while I visited with the grown ups! This is truly a special touch and shows how thoughtful the folks who run this establishment are. I'll definitely be back every time I'm in town and would recommend this spot to anyone who's looking for a great coffee spot.Kid-friendliness: They have a special kids area! Great for a family outing, moms get-together, good family fun.

Always good here.Today we stopped there after a doctors visit. About 1pm. Great to have a place just to relax and have a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin. Very refreshing. They are open till 3.30. Glad this is here for coffee. Today I had a breakfast sandwich. Great price for a great meal.Features: None were necessary. Wash hands . These guys are the best. I love their bagel sandwiches, especially the chicken salad. I also love the Uncle Monkey smoothie. They have a great play area for kids so parents can enjoy coffee. It's a family run business with a definite family feel. Plenty of places to sit, wifi, and often an 80s soundtrack playing. There is a community events board too so it feels like you can keep in touch with the community. I've never had a bad experience here.

Good coffee. Expensive. Very expensive. I'm pretty sure you pay the extra for abuse. Go here if you want to have a good brew and get figuratively slapped around by the owner. Here, the customer is *definitely wrong.*I've been going here for about 3 years, but after today I'm tired of paying extra for nastiness. I'd rather pay for bitter coffee at Starbucks than for bitter people at Mad Coffee.

I'm so sad they had to move from the mall with their awesome mural wall, but this place is AWESOME! Top quality sourcing, excellent organic options, proper hand-tamped-style espresso, and all the sweets and smoothies. The dining area feels as comfortable as your own living room, and is filled with books (for adults and children), toys, and all sorts of seating options. This lady knows how to atmosphere!
