I have been waiting for my glasses for 3 months now. :( The last time I got glasses from this place took 6 months! I still have no update on the status of my glasses. No one answers the phone, there's no option to leave a voicemail. I tried stopping by several times. However, it seems there is often no one working on the glasses side of the building. When an employee was present, there was a huge line waiting for their turn. They seem constantly understaffed and unorganized. I feel bad for the one employee who is there; she seems nice and is clearly overwhelmed/stressed. They need to hire more help.

Dr Molina is awesome, such a great guy. I highly recommend getting an examination from him. Very personable, makes you feel comfortable, and takes the time to do the job right.If it weren't for him, I'd be leaving one star. I'm 8 weeks into the 5-6 week waiting period my glasses. The few times they answer the phone, they've always got another excuse. I paid in full when I ordered, zero reason they can't provide. Even their voicemail mentions "the call volume". There's homeless people in their parking lot that'd be more than happy to answer calls for minimum wage. I realize there's more to it than waving the local bum to your front desk, but there's hundreds of young people localy that would be happy to answer that pesky phone for less money than they're losing due to the terrible service.

Doctor was nice, but staff … mainly the front desk receptionist who told me the doctor will NOT speak to a patient about concerns or complaints. I went in back in JULY! for contacts I understand that it takes time to order them but it has now been SEVEN MONTHS where I have called multiple times about them & I get the same answer every single time which was “they got here and I remember you but I’m not sure what happened to them I need to look into them” to now today … “oh we had the wrong number” & still no answer not sure how she knew she had the wrong number when she repeatedly told me she doesn’t have my record in front of her. I recommend you go some place else and pay cash if you have to. Because I paid for the lenses and now I’m being told that they need reorder them. At this point I just want my money back.

My daughter and I picked out frames and ordered our glasses. The staff was super friendly, and helpful. Was told to check back in about 3 weeks. Here we are, 10 weeks later, and still no glasses. They gave me a story about not being able to order them because the website was down. That was 10 weeks. no communication, put us on hold, and hang up. Just to find out they haven't ordered them yet.I'm pretty frustrated to say the least. My baby girls is an A student, but her teacher called to tell me she's not doing her work. When I asked what was going on she started crying, and said she can't see the board.

I had a good experience once. Took my kid. He had an ok experience too. Found some glasses. Ordered them. They said to give it 3-4 weeks. Now, it is 12 weeks later and “they don’t know what is going on or why they’re not in”. Over the last several weeks, I have been put on hold for 20+ minutes, called with no answer, and called just to get a message that they are closed due to being short staffed.Sorry…. Probably not going back.

I would give less than one star if I could! Waited over 2 months for one pair of glasses and pushing 4 months for the second. Don't waste your time, money or effort at this store, just get your script and drive to Cruces or El Paso and get them. Update. After the last review posted they called me back on 2-6 and said the glasses would be here in 1 week and swore on it. Here it 2 weeks later and still no glasses and I'm online with my insurance company filing a fraud claim. Again DO NOT USE INTUITION OPTICAL FOR YOUR GLASSES. it's been nothing but one excuse after another. Don't believe a word they say or their promises to call you back it's all lies.

This place started to go down hill for me when Covid hit. The doctor what I remember was great just the staff needs some work with working with people. It’s not that the staff stands around and does nothing; they do not do that. They just seem to not really care much about the customers over all.I came back to this place recently just for a pair of glasses that I can use at home so I do not ruin my nice ones. It was fully covered by my insurance so I did not pay a dime on them hints they are for home.I’ve called 3weeks in and told me that they are not there yet and to call next week, so I did.(BTW, they suck at answering phones, I’m having to call them 2-5 times before they answer a call in business hrs.) and they told me they couldn’t find them, but the lady on the phone seemed really genuine about it. Said they will put in a new order in but to call back once in a while to ask if they found the last ones. And again, 30 mins after open I’m having to call 2-5times and once on hold. It’s frustrating that I have to waste gas going 25mins away to actually get an answer.But this is not the only incident that I’ve had a hard time.Back in 2020, when Covid was an around they had a different way of doing things which was okay! I understood. But I had picked out the glasses I wanted and after about 3w’s go by they had told me my Insurance did not have those frames so I rushed back to the store to pick new ones.When I got there, they tried to rush me in a rude way and I had picked glasses I didn’t not feel comfortable with and I ended up feeling embarrassed and crying because of the glasses I had chosen and be rudely rushed.I told myself I wouldn’t go back here but this was the only other place that fully took my insurance for glasses I can just use at home or till my others arrived, which they did and I’m still waiting for my the ones from here. 5w and 2days later.UPDATE: almost 3 months later and I finally got my glasses.

I ordered my frames and lenses back in January. My lenses finally came in and I was told they were staying late so they could cut them to fit my frames. Needless to say, it's been almost 8 weeks and when they say they call, they don't I. Wish I could give 0 stars for this. Place

I was seen by Dr. Molina on 10.24.23 and thought his staff did a great job. Thelma, Austin and Anna were very professional and helpful. They did tell me it would take 4 to 6 weeks for my glasses to come in which I did not think was bad for today's supply chains.

I have literally been waiting for my daughter's glasses to be made since November, I call every week and every week I get excuse after excuse. To top it off they got my son's prescription wrong when having his glasses made. I would not recommend this buisness to anyone.

“Service animals must be allowed to accompany the handler (‘handler’ means owner or, in New Mexico and some other states, a trainer) to any place in a building or facility where members of the public, program participants, customers, or clients are allowed. Even if a business or public program has a “no pets” policy, they may not deny entry to a person with a service animal.”“Asking the handler to have the animal perform the task is not allowed. It’s also important to note that service animals are not required to be certified or wear identification of any kind, though some handlers may present a certification and some service animals may wear a vest or other identification.”This establishment refused to allow my service animal due to her not having a vest. As indicated on NM gov page, a best is not required and an establishment cannot refuse to allow the animal inside unless being disruptive.My dog was calm and quiet and as soon as I entered the woman at the front said she was not allowed. I said she was a service animal and was told she should have a vest.Ridiculous and rude for no reason.

I gave them chance and took my girls to see Dr. Molina. He was good with them let them know about their eyes. He cared. As for the front desk all I wanted was some form of communication. I understand things take time. My girls ordered glasses instead of asking how were the glasses going to be paid. A lady automatically charged them, I told her no they have Medicaid. They end up charging their dad about $300. I called down there she was like “ Oh my bad! They didn’t say anything.” Then it took about a month to get their glasses in. When my daughter’s glasses broke I took them in. The lady at the front explained we would have to pay for shipping and handling. Which I agreed too, but it’s been about two months I haven’t heard anything back. Called about 5 times left my number and STILL NO CALL BACK!!! Called again today, different lady this time, “ Well I can do is take your name and number and pass it on to one of the other ladies that was here.” I asked could I get a copy of my daughters prescription so I can get some somewhere else. She got upset, I wasn’t blaming her for anything but she told me, “Well like I said , IT WAS NOT ME!!!” Then hung up. If you like people being rude, no communication or callback this is the place for you.

This place is ridiculous to get glasses from my children have been waiting since December 2023 and its almost March of 2024 for the glasses to come in, they don't call and update you on what's going on nor do they answer there phone half the time or they are closed due to shortage in staff . When you do talk to someone they say they will call you back and never follow theough But yet they want to put the blame on the insurance company saying it's there fault . I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Absolute hot garbage. The employees are so disorganized I’m amazed they can dress themselves for work. Ordered lenses 17 August and was told 3-4 weeks. Checked in with them last week and she said she couldn’t find my order…came back after I got off work that same day and magically the supplier has shipped it and it should be here this week…heck to the no. There were other customers who had the same exact thing happen to them. No refund policy but I’ll find a way to report this business. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

I would give the office zero stars if possible. The only way to get ahold of them is to call in the morning right at 9am or go into the office. The front office manager is extremely rude. I spoke to her on one occasion and she stated she would call me back. Never got the call back. I understand the high volume they receive at the office so didn’t think nothing of it. Called back a week later to check on my order and she was all attitude. To the point where she hung up on me. I would not recommend going here at all you will waste your money. I spent well over $400 and still haven’t received anything I paid for a month later. Called to check on the status of my order and didn’t get any answers.

Dr Molina was great but they are seriously ripping people off. I had to go here because they were the only ones that accepted my insurance. I should have drove to Las Cruces. The lady at the desk is extremely rude. They overcharge for contacts and the exam so the customer pays and then they collect from insurance. They charged almost 500 for a contract exam and contactsI paid 300 out of pocket. I have worn contacts for 34 years and I have never heard.of paying this much. I could have drove to Las Cruces and back to get my contacts and still saved money!

I wish I had read the reviews🙄. I did my exam at Filmore. Was sent here due to my insurance for glasses. February walk in customer complaining very upset about some glass frames they broke and had been over six weeks he been waiting. Two people in there very under staffed, I bought my frames to them and my script, no nothing about glasses had script for bi focals I said I don't think I need the line and staff member agreed. Told 3 weeks well call you a whole month goes by no 1 calls me so I call them. They state 2 more weeks. I get my glasses can't see anything up close so I make an appt at Filmore for another exam and to check my glasses, this is April 27th doctor tells me I need the bifocals 🤓 I immediately take my glasses back to intuition on that day. Walk in another customer is upset his glasses no1 bothered to order them. Three people there to include myself. Employee says the order was never processed the man demands to speak to the manager. Then it finally my turn guy seemed so stressed out the place is very unorganized and understaffed. I let him know what the doctor said at Filmore that I need to turn my glasses into bifocals. He says ok took my glasses. Was about to leave then I said hey don't you need to measure my face remembering my measurements were tooken last time but erased. He said oh yes I actually do. They said two to three weeks I'll be getting a call to come pick them up. It's already may 11th call them for status the lady answers says oh we didn't get to have the lenses placed on them but we got the cut I'll call you back in an houlet you know what our lab distributor says. r or you know what we might can put them on ourselves. Smh.. It's already been 3 no phone call yet. Will not do business with them if I didn't have to. I suggest you go elsewhere they can't handle the load evidently and are always forgetting, breaking or loosing stuff understaffed.

File a complaint with better business bureau. I never been to any business which is so unorganized. They actually lost my glasses after waiting almost 2 months for them. I always see disgruntled customers in there. They need better management ASAP!

Took five weeks to get our glasses! My daughters lenses came in wrong. They have to send them back. I hope it does not take another five weeks! I thought I needed to adjust into my new prescription glasses and I can’t. I see better in my old pair. It’s frustrating because I have to take time off work to get the matters resolved. Nothing has been resolved. Looks like I will need to take more time off work to figure out what they are going to do with my glasses and continue to wait for my daughters glasses. I do not recommend this company. If possible go out of town. Next time I will!

I love Dr. Molina. His staff on the other hand can they can jump off the mountain. They are rude and I feel like one day could jump over the counter.. I have that temper. Good thing for meds. I have had a hard time with getting glasses and good customer service. Glasses are expensive there and not worth the prices. I have started going elsewhere to purchase my son's and my glasses. But I will not trade in Dr. Molina.

Dr. Molina was quick and efficient. I was there for over an hour but that is due to a patient who had a mixup and the optometrist took him without an appointment, no problem there!The problem was solely based on my order. I had my appointment at the end of July. Two months later, no word from them so I start calling. The first time I call, the response from the office is that they are two busy and they can’t find my order. The next time I call, the office is closed because of Covid, understandable. I follow up the week after with the same response. I wait two weeks and they tell me my glasses are ready but my prescription sunglasses had a mess up so they had to reorder the lenses. The second week of November, I finally receive a call that my sunglasses are finally ready.I understand the office is super busy but have a little courtesy when it comes to patients who are providing business. I will continue to go to Dr. Molina but I will find another place to buy my glasses and lenses.

I admit I had a rough time deciding how many stars to rate this place. I wasn't happy with another optical shop in town, so when my prescription changed I tried Intuition Optical on the recommendation of an acquaintance. My first impression was great. I worked with a young lady who was enthusiastic, friendly, and hardworking. Found frames I love, and was really excited to get my new glasses. The receipt said they would be ready in 4 weeks. At 5 weeks I still hadn't heard. I called to check on them and after calling many many times because no one answered the phone, I finally got a very rude woman who told me that she was working alone, and she didn't have time to look through the boxes of glasses that were ready for pick-up. Another couple of weeks went by. I called again (and again had to try several times because no one answers the phone). This time I was shocked at how rudely I was treated. I explained that it had been almost 2 months and I still didn't have my glasses. She honestly said "Do you hear this phone ringing??? This is what it's like all day and I'm here alone." Meanwhile I was thinking "well, I paid in full for my glasses almost 2 months ago and I would like to have them before my prescription changes again" (but I refrained from actually saying that). She didn't even tell me she would call back. Just said she didn't have time to go through the boxes of glasses that were ready for pick-up. Again I was thinking "well maybe you wouldn't have so many boxes to go through if you would actually call people to come pick them up when they are ready". Finally 2 1/2 months after I ordered and paid for my glasses, I got a call today that they were ready to be picked up. I actually love them. They did a great job making my progressive lenses. But, their customer service is ridiculously terrible, and at least a couple of their employees really shouldn't be allowed to talk to other human beings. That is why I'm giving them 1 star. I will drive to Cruces or El Paso, or even go to Walmarts optical shop before I deal with Intuition's employees again. 2 and 1/2 months....I'll just leave that right there.

This is the worst place to get glasses I’ve ever been. They don’t answer their phones. There’s hardly anyone ever there. Takes breaks whenever they want. And takes more than 3 months for glasses to get fixed and by the time they get here they aren’t even what we ordered or were correct. Worse service ever! O stars

If you don’t have “Davis Insurance” don’t bother coming here. They won’t sell certain frames to you unless you have that specific insurance. Also, if you want to get an eye exam, just know that they book people in 10 minute intervals and stack it up, so you may have an hour or more wait regardless of whether you’re on time or not. Apparently, my time (or yours!) just isn’t that important. So if you want to spend some time looking at frames and finding some you really like, only to be told you can’t buy them even with cash, this is the place for you. Good luck figuring out what you can buy, they have no signage indicating which frames are not for sale to the general public. Overall, a poor experience for me.

I was able to make an appointment much sooner than anywhere else in town, the Staff was professional and kind, and Dr. Molina was quick and concise. Although their lab technician passed away, they were still able to ensure my glasses were ready for me. I was also able to drive up to the office and pick up my glasses during the mandatory shutdown. I can see better than I have in years. Thank you so much.

That is the most unprofessional office I have ever had the experience of using. The staff is always rude and complains out loud about the customers in front of the customers. They overbook even though they make you wait a month for the appointment in the first place. The sad thing is Dr. Molina actually seems like a nice guy but his office help is ruining his business. What happened to customer service? 1 star is actually being too generous based on the office! If you can get past them Dr Molina is pretty nice!

Fantastic service. I am from Waco, TX. Was on vacation and broke my glasses. Was upset with myself and thought "no way could I get them fixed anywhere around some town like Almagordo. ". Yet they not only put lenses in a new frame they did it in 30 minutes. Incredibly impressed. I love them!!@!

This place has extremely went downhill. I’ve been going here for years they have always been nice to me and worked with me. At the beginning of June i went in, to only get frames for my glasses! They said my glasses should be here in three weeks, it has currently been 6/7 weeks. So the last TWO weeks I’ve been calling to get updates and this morning the lady answered the ohone with attitude and told me JUST now they wanted to tell me the frames i picked out isn’t going to work and i have to come in pick different ones and wait another two weeks! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Get it together! What happen and why wasn’t i connected a long time ago or the one of many times I’ve called?
