My least favorite Dollar General in town. When you've got only one product to buy, employees still want you to hand the item to them instead of just scanning the UPC. Home Depot, Lowes, Samon's, AutoZone, O'Reilly's, Walgreens, Wal-Mart, etc. all scan without being handed the item. Also, employees are always elsewhere than the cash register and there's no self checkout. If you know you don't have self checkout, why are you always away from the cash register?

I went in to avoid the chaos of Walmart. Just needed to pick up ginger ale chicken noodle soup and Halls cherry cough drops for my friend's son. Walked in grabbed everything I needed and was in got stuff and checked out within eight maybe 10 minutes. Decently busy but they were moving fast😊

The young sales clerk was very helpful in locating what I wanted which ended up being on the very top shelf get it down and carry it to the front. He did this very graciously. While he was not at all knowledgeable about the different phone plans they sell I found him to be the most helpful of all the Dollar general clerks I've encountered thus far.

Their bathrooms are "out of order"Is it just me or does everyone sense covit have their bathrooms out of order, OFTEN?Even if a 'few people ruin it for the rest if us,This Shoukd be part if Owning a StoreAND CUSTOMER SERVICEI have decided Not to shop AnywhereWhere MANAGMEENT CAN NIT OFFERBATHROOMS FOR CUSTOMERS

If not for the employees, I would rate 5 stars. Always great deals. Just felt UNSAFE.The employees had their masks around their chins, allowed people to come in without masks on, and we're discussing with customers their beliefs about thinking they shouldn't be forced to wear masks. It made me feel EXTREMELY UNSAFE. Especially with the Governor making masks mandatory.

Ryan Upchurch Holler boys "lovely" song to be playing in your store. I get it's a good song but some of the lyrics are not suitable for public. And y'all can call me uptight and whatever but some things just shouldn't be played in public.Just because something becomes socially acceptable does not make it right.

I have started shopping at Dollar General to avoid Walmart. I needed to use the restroom which is locked with a sign that says the restrooms are closed due to COVID. It also says ask an associate for a key which I did. I was still denied access to the restroom. This is April 2021. It’s time for you to open the public restrooms to the public!

I was hoping to find a battery that I couldn't find at WalMart. I wasn't expecting to find it at Dollar General, but a very polite employee showed me exactly where they were, and it even cost less than what I expected.

They made me leave with my kids after starting to sometime I was with that we need to leave we have stolen when I nor my kids have taken anything from your stupid store that's why I would never spend another dime there when I spend more then 700$ there monthly
