We stopped here after going to White Sands NP and it was such a good decision! Very awesome ice cream. They have what’s called a Caliche which is sort of like a milk shake with toppings in it. They were fantastic! I had the Adobe Mud. We also tasted some of the green chili sundae and it was surprisingly pretty good! They don’t have tables to sit at but they do have benches. There is no “inside” you just order at a window and either take it to go or sit outside. Highly recommend them! They do also have food - we didn’t get any though.

Staff is very careful about food allergies. One family member has a serious wheat allergy and the lady preparing her banana split opened a new container so there would be no danger of cross contamination! We were impressed with the care shown by the team.Dietary restrictions: Took great care with our food allergy.

Delicious, thick and creamy custard with lots of topping choices. Can get a Caliche, which is like a blizzard, or Sundays or scoops. There are also hot dogs , nachos, frito pie and croissant sandwiches but we didn't try the food.

I love this place. IT came up as a recommended dessert spot in Alamogordo and we came here after going to the White Sands National Park. Outdoor seating and a drive through is available (no indoor seating). You order at the counter and then pick it up on the other side. We tried a sample of the custard with green chiles and let’s say that it was definitely interesting. I was torn between getting a caliche or the mango dango sundae, but the worker advised me to get a caliche. I opted for the hotfudge brownie and it was delicious. There was a generous amount of hot fudge and big chunks of brownies. My friend got the Nana’s berry swirl and it was nicely fruity (a mix of strawberry and banana). The custard is creamy and a small is still very large.Free parking lot. Credit cards accepted. They do have nondairy option and hot food.

Good sandwiches but they gave me the wrong one. I wanted the one with bacon. The mint caliche was delicious. We came at 11:20am on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy at all. The employee seemed friendly but also looked overwhelmed. It’s ok. Maybe he was new. We all are new in a job at some point in our lives. 😅

I was visiting my son in New Mexico for Christmas and after dinner, we went here to get dessert. We stood in line for a while. They must of be short on help. Which is understandable since it was Christmas time. Everyone was working as hard as they could to get orders out. We did leave before we were able to order. I'm sure it would have been delicious. 😋

This place is a must try! Great stop once you are done with the mountains. Gives me Andys Custards vibes. Their cream was thick and creamy. Strawberry was not too sweet. I think about this order sometimes even though I am hundreds of miles away.

Great place for great frozen treats.On our weekend trip to Cherry picking at La Luz, White sands, stopped at this frozen place to take a break and experienced great delights. Will definitely try again

Oh-em-gee! It's so thick and creamy - so delicious! Forget the diet. Come here.We got the Mango Dango with pistachio (choice of nuts), Fudge Brownie with Chocolate ice cream (instead of vanilla), Adobe Mud, and Starberry Shortcake Sundae (my fav).

2nd time here. Great both times. Delish, correct order & fast service. Peeking through the window as they made our stuff...the place looks very clean in the kitchen.You have the options of vanilla or chocolate custard with a plethora of toppings.-OR-Strawberry, mango or lemon frozen ice.No idea what the green chili topping is like. But it's a signature treat.

I feel like this place goes above and beyond to fulfill great customer service. The ice cream was great. My wife loves ice cream. I'm not a huge fan, but I really liked this place. The toppings are great and plenty. I had the Gizmo , two thumbs-up. On the way out, I saw they serve food. We will be back to explore the menu. Thank you to the kind and respectful staff.

Great menu, delicious hot dogs, friendly staff. From Saturday night to Wednesday drastic difference in serving of chocolate hot fudge sundae. Saturday was heaping good, today I received 1/2 of the amount. This has happened before. Need consistency in training and monitoring of serving. I paid way too much for what little product I received today.

Hate to do it..but we had shakes...and we are from up north..where shakes are thick and cold. These shakes were like milk with a flavoring..no coldness to it..not sure if this is an off day..or they are supposed to be like this. The rest of the stuff must be good with all these good reviews.

Ohhhh soooooo yummy! There is no wrong choice. A bit on the steep side price wise but worth every penny. I got a Caliche peanut butter cup with extra peanut butter cup. A large was a bit too big lol!

Awesome frozen custard! Had the Very Berry (mix of frozen berries and custard) and was not disappointed. The line can get long, but moves along. Lights up in all neon at night, which is cool to see.
