This is a gas station. It's where you buy hydrocarbons to fuel your 3000 lb steel cage. It's the way you can help acidify the oceans and boil the atmosphere. We all do it.On the bright side, you can get your environment destroying toxins at the pump without having to interact with other humans.In a metaphysical sense, I deeply question why anyone would write a review of a gas station, and what one would say that is good or bad. Bad. I guess you could have a really bad gas station, one that didn't actually have gas.It does make me question my existence, my motivation for writing this, and whether or not in a deontological sense free will actually exists.

The gas station at Bodes in Abiquiu. I've never had any problems with the pumps. Because it's a popular stop for vacationers with RVs, you really have to keep your eyes open. Trying to enter or exit the parking lot can be a bit dicey at times, especially during weekends and holidays. So, be careful!

A must stop in northern New Mexico, before/ after driving though the mountains. Bodes has great food and awesome selection of unique gifts. Don't miss their breakfast burritos and coffee if stopping in the morning. 😋

This was amazing store! Had everything from milk, souvenirs and fishing worms! Wonderful people inside! Everyone was nice! Will definitely make it a stop the next time we're visiting in New Mexico!

This place is so cool! We will always come back here on every trip to northern new Mexico. We absolutely loved it. This is so much more than a gas station. You absolute have to stop!

I would give 0 stars if I could for the cashier that I spoke to. They were just closing up which I get but all I need to do was use the restroom really fast we had a long drive still to go to Pagosa and I really had to go so had to find somewhere towards the lake. She was a darker lady with dark hair and she was extremely rude and just shut the door in my face. So much for customer service skills! I have worked in customer service for many years and I would never treat someone like that I would have let her use the restroom then locked up or locked the door while she was in so no one could come in behind her. Also there were still customers in the store so I would have been out before they were out.

Closed but had cashiers inside that completely ignored us at the door and when they waddled out to their cars. Only gas station in this town, listed no hours online, and closes at 7:40p on a Monday. All we had was cash and a 27' motorhome sitting on Empty.Horrible customer service and horrible hours.Thank god an awesome Samaritan offered to use his card in exchange for our cash. Hate giving this location my money but I need fuel.

Bode's is the name, mercantile is the game. Great hand held food, salads, and little nuggets like Udi's GF products. They sell a little of everything.Check out the stickers!

If you are passing through Abiqiui stop at Bodes for good food, fuel, or a bathroom. Not cheap but worth it.
