Arin and Stan Bader provide a lovely, tasteful low-key environment for a beautiful getaway. We enjoyed hiking and walking in the area and then relaxing in the evening by the fire that Stan prepped for us. The Casitas has radiant heated floors and a beautifully crafted adobe structure. All of the art, the linens (so soft), and decor is top tier but understated. Two laundry and utility areas separate the two casitas for privacy. There is a coffee maker and water kettle in the room; a microwave and toaster oven and supplies in the laundry room; refrigerator in the garage. Having access to a washer/dryer on an extended road trip was a definite plus. The outdoor patio is a delightful retreat for morning coffee at a stunning sunrise or afternoon glass of vino at sunset. Enjoy a walk to the banks of Chama River just a few minutes away.We felt "off the grid" and could relax. Despite best efforts of the Baders, Wi-Fi is spotty at best and there is no TV. There is adequate cell phone coverage. We couldn't have been happier!
