Good food and decent service combined and a beautiful location with absolutely gorgeous scenery! The dining area of the restaurant is a gallery of many paintings from a local artist.Food was fresh and delicious!

While there aren’t many dining options in the area, the restaurant serves food as though they’re in the midst of tough competition. To taste some of the local flair, we chose a green chili ranchero beef stew and chicken fried steak with a green chili based gravy. The spices in both were well balanced, not too hot (for those with sensitive palates) and wholly satisfying. My boyfriend’s stew was more filling than he anticipated, but after taking a bite of my tender chicken fried steak, he made sure to help me with my plate. We asked the server, Derick, for a recommendation for desert. He said his favorite was the apple bread pudding. It was more than satisfying, it was mystifying. The slender Granny Smith apples had a soft bite to them without being mushy and the whole thing kept its shape although it was incredibly moist and steaming.Definitely listen to Derick’s advice, who is also efficient, courteous and so very helpful!

I was happy to eat some delicious chiles rellenos in NM!! (finally!). The side of beans was flavorful. The cheese dip starter, not so much. For the advertised three cheeses, there was hardly any cheese flavor. Perhaps stick to one cheese or eliminate some of the spice or corn as I think this detracts from it.Wonderful outdoor seating and a truly nice environment to enjoy a glass of wine.Service needs work. I wasn't asked about a drink, the server never smiled. I think this is a training issue. But they are trying.

What a pleasant surprise to have found such a wonderful place to dine. The food was fantastic! We checked in to our hotel room and walked right in to get a table at 7:00 on a Sunday evening. After a long day of traveling we were relieved they were open and happy to serve us. Service was great, had some Gruet to celebrate our visit and ordered a couple appetizers and entrées. Our children were pretty tired from the trip but seemed to enjoy their visit as the beautiful artwork on the wall served as great conversational pieces while we waited for our food.First we had the Hummus then Napoleon appetizer, which I highly recommend. For entrées, my husband had the Red Chile Shrimp & Grits and I had the Blue Corn Crusted Trout with Corn Cakes & Green Beans. Everything was cooked & seasoned to perfection. The next morning we had the Red Chile Eggs Benedict & our children had pancakes. We are so grateful to have found this spot and look forward to visiting here more often!

AMAZING. Best fish tacos I've had in NM hands down and the beans were great. Mint tea was refreshing. The polenta cakes are seriously incredible and the prickly pear cheesecake was so delicious. The patio is open and beautiful, waitress was friendly and attentive and we felt very safe. Will be back again.

On our way back to Santa Fe, we made an unplanned stop and had lunch there. The service was smooth and staff were all friendly especially our waitress, which was extremely nice.We both had Shrimp And Grits and I think it was one of the best we’ve ever had. The shrimp was fresh and the grits creamy. Their Summer Berry Pudding was refreshing dessert.Too bad we didn’t get to sit and dine outside. We would have preferred sitting outdoors. Next time then.

I was a part of the large hiking group in early April who stayed overnight in Abiquiu Inn. I dinned here with the group for a dinner and a breakfast. The dinner service was good, but the food quality was average. I had a 12oz angus strip loin crusted with red chili. The breakfast service was painfully slow although there weren't many people in the café at 8:00AM. In fact, two of our group members ended up cancelling their orders and had to resort to snack bars in the van. I had the "traditional breakfast." It was, once again, average.

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn very much and one reason was because we loved the restaurant! The menu has a lot of variety and we adored sitting on the patio (especially now with social distancing). We can't wait to return!I especially recommend the trout for breakfast and you can get gluten free toast!

Beautiful views and lovely outdoor seating area. Cottonwood blossoms flying absolutely freaking everywhere - magical! The tamale cake Napoleon came highly recommended, but it wasn’t very flavorful. The elote dip was very melty and satisfying. The cheesecake was frozen in the middle and the prickly pear sauce was really thin and ran right off it. The service was quite slow even though they weren’t slammed.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here to grab a bite After our food arrived he comment on how it’s rare to find such a great restaurant out in the middle of nowhere. Delicious food!I had the chile relleno & vegetarian enchilada with a portobello mushroom and a sangria. Yummy! Star was our great waitress. My boyfriend got the fried chicken sandwich with french fries. “Very good.”

We took the whole family and our fur baby to Abiquiu. We went to this restaurant twice. It’s pet friendly. We enjoyed our meals on the patio. The food is really good. I gonna miss their trout dishes a lot.

This is now a must stop for us in Abiquiu! We enjoyed having breakfast on the patio with plenty of space to walk around & stretch our legs. I didn't realize it until later but the patio is also dog friendly. We split one of the omelettes with delicious pico de gallo on the side, a fresh baked croissant along with some coffee & tea. The artwork, sculptures & gift shop were neat to look at as well.

We have been here several times. Always a great experience. The chili crusted steak, shrimp and grits with a solid wine and dessert menu make a place to come back too.

Visited here with my parents in 2007. Fine dining experience with authentic New Mexico fare. Breathtaking scenery all around surrounding areas.

Cute little cafe housed in the Abiquiú Inn, directly next door to the Georgia O’Keefe Welcome Center and across from the artist’s former home perched atop a hill across the street.Friendly staff, fairly good food — the green chili cheeseburger is quite flavorful with a slight (but not too harsh) kick to it. Includes an outdoor space as well for warmer temps.

Staff very nice.. Dinner bland of enchilada and side beans. Chicken fry dinner seemed chicken not freshly prepared, but made fr frozen pre-made and green beans frozen kind. Coffee in room way better than what is served at Cafe Breakfast tastier omelet, but needs improvement.

Great place for lunch after O'Keeffe house tour. The green chili mac was excellent! I also had a side salad with lemon honey vinaigrette and grilled chicken as well. Sit on the porch if weather allows.

Spent a pleasant evening catching up with friends over dinner. Service was attentive from drinks to dessert. The vegetarian options were limited but altogether we had a good meal at a reasonable cost. The patio was enjoyable after a hot day. Easy parking and access.

Coming from someone who's traveled and come's here a lot though travels, its alright. Bathrooms are in an odd spot but its not the restaurant's fault, and they are overall clean. Food tastes good except sometimes my friends or families burgers come out pure PINK and I remember one time the fries were just RAW.The patio is alright, I take my dog every now and then and they're pretty friendly about it. Big room for parties and all. Wait time and waitresses are....okay? The atmosphere overall depends on the people next to you, one time though I did sit down next to someone and they were just SCREAMING out their conversation which just really ruined the mood but again not the restaurants fault. Prices are alright but sometimes the food doesn't live up to it.Overall I would give it maybe a 3.5

This was a nice little spot in Abiquiu when we did not feel like cooking ourselves. I liked that it was centered around Georgia O'Keeffe, and there was a lot of local art displayed in the restaurant (for sale too). Great atmosphere and the food was good. We tried the trout tacos, chicken manuel, and seared salmon; all great. I would be interested in staying at the Inn another time as it looked really interesting and I like the resort mindset to where everything you need is in one spot.

This place was a saving grace for this starving traveler who hasn't seen a restaurant in 40 miles. It ended up being our favorite spot to stop and eat since our vacation started over a week ago. Great service as well! Very friendly. So thank you for filling my tum with amazing food!
