This cake was beautiful! I want to say thank you so much to the cake decorator for helping to make this a memorable 1st birthday! My son loved the cookies you put on here... he couldn't stop eating them. I also want to say thank to the crew who put together the chicken order for me! Acme as a whole.....I love you guys and thank you so much!

This review is for the people working the registers and the manager in charge of them. Friday night the manager was yelling at the cashiers for using the phones. Which, if against policy, is wrong. The manager was raising her voice in front of all the customers and proceeded to have a private conversation on her own cell.You do not disciple employees in public eye. It's bad management and does more damage to the employee morale than if done in private. In my eyes as a manager, she is not doing things correctly.

Good produce selection, has all the staples but low volume of ethnic and vegetarian options. It has some version of most kinds of foods.No handbaskets, manager must not trust people with things.Stop in for a quick shop, prices are high, and make sure to bring your own milkcrate because otherwise you're carrying things in your arms and bags up to the register.

This is a very pricey location. Also they have very limited options. Maybe its because of the demand in the area but other large grocery chains nearby have quite a substantial choice difference at a much better price point. Fresh vegetables looked poor quality as well as limited choices. Definitely not a first choice shopping location.

They messed up an order for person I know and instead of helping to fix the situation they tell them they need to call 24 hours in advanced to the decorator for changes. How are they supposed to know 24 hours in advanced her order would be messed up??? It shouldn't have been messed up in the first place! Doesn't make sense they should know their order would get messed up 24 hours in advanced to tell the decorator to change an order they messed up? What's more they had to have 8 workers come over to look in on the situation crowding around my friend. Why do you need 8 workers to come over to assess something your baking department messed up? It's unprofessional and this is coming from someone who works retail. What kind of place are you running you need 8 workers to access something you messed up and say excuses like they should tell the decorator 24 hours in advanced, should people just assume your decorator will mess orders up and call in 24 hours in advanced to make sure their order is not messed up and avoid being crowded by 8 workers for one customer issue??

New low for Woodstown Acme. Skimpflation at it's finest. Rotisserie chickens are now rotisserie Cornish hens. Getting smaller monthly but price continues to increase

Anything in a grocery store is here. Good selection cheese, meat, bread and anything else you'd want from a grocery. Pretty much a one stop grocery👍🏼

My son is working in the area and was turning 21 while his family is here in Texas. I wanted to get him a custom cake made and delivered and I had no idea how to do it. I called and talked to Tracey in the bakery and she was amazing helping me pick the perfect cake for him. Patty and Brittany then got on the phone to help me set up delivery and the best way to get him a surprise delivery on his 21st birthday. I have never had any grocery store go over and beyond like these amazing women did and I’m all the way here in Texas. I will forever be grateful to them and this store for making my sons 21st birthday the best while he’s alone out of town.

It's the only local supermarket in this area. They have made some recent renovations, improving the store's freezer's frequent leakings. They also made some positive atmosphere changes. Unfortunately, the pricing is too high overall compared to other supermarkets .

I recently shopped at ACME Markets and while the store had everything I needed, I found the prices to be a bit steep. I ended up spending over $100 on just two bags of groceries. While it's a convenient location, the high prices make it difficult to justify shopping there regularly.

Great food store, good prices, good quality. You can always get what food your looking for. Shelves are always stocked. Best seafood with great prices and very clean. Nice, friendly employees 👌

This establishment is disgusting, mismanaged and poorly operated. The floor is covered in trash and dirt. Found multiple items that were expired. Christian the cashier was disrespectful and rather arrogant. This place will be out of business soon.

RUDEST EMPLOYEES EVER!!!!!! Called my me and my grandpa weirdos for asking about crab legs lol. Do not shop there, they have attitudes and are very miserable. Won’t catch shipping there ANYMORE! DO NOT SHOP THERE!!!!!

Very clean.kind staff.meats are fresh.It's very easy to get assistance. And I even recieved 4 boxes of Ritz crackers for free due to a old buy one get 1 free sign still being up. And I was charged the right price. But because the sign was left up I was given all 4 for free. If this ever happens to you Acme HAS to give you the items for FREE. Great store.

Prices way too high.Meat prices make you feel like you're buying the whole 🐄.I live near this store and I rather go to Bridgeton to buy meats.I have talked to others, just shopping and they too feel that this super market has never given anything back to the community. And the best thing to do is go elsewhere to shop with our hard earned money. This store doesn't deserve one star but they make you choose one.

Workers absolutely awesome. The man named Fred in the seafood department is so helpful an nice deserves a raise, a elder gentleman got nasty with him an almost hit me with his cart then walked away. I assured Fred he did nothing wrong that the gentleman was just a bitter soul.

I hit this place up weekly for odds and ends. Staff is always cheerful and helpful. Shout out to the bakery for giving me 2 gallon icing tubs for homebrew mead (even offering to clean them out. These buckets have seals on the lids, so of you home brew it's awesome) !! It's pretty clean and I can find most items with ease. Prices are about standard. I'm mostly in early morning and hit self checkout, but from the looks they have 2 staffed lanes open.

The only reason I go to Acme is proximity.The deli area always smells bad & the freezers are always leaking onto the floor. The produce is subpar.In serious need of an update (building & a handful of staff).Many staff are wonderful & I thank them & their dedication.

This Acme serves our little corner of salem county very well. It doesn't have every little thing you'd find at a whole foods but you aren't going to go hungry either. The management and staff are very friendly. I've special requested items from the butcher, bakery, and customer service desk for general items and they've always been happy to help.

I got my sons first birthday & fiance's 30th birthday cake + cupcakes both from here. the ice cream cake they just wrote on for me - but my sons cake ? I told them what I wanted & they literally went ABOVE & BEYOND. Can't Can't BEGIN to tell how good the pricing was. I loved it. Thank you !

95% of employees are inatentive and simply note helpful, store is constantly out of products which they once had but no longer and the Swedesboro store can get restocked with. After 15 years still can't get their refrigeration and building hvac fans to work correctly to keep summer humidity out, and always have been overpriced. Super excited over the new ShopRite being built up the Swedesboro-Woodstown Rd.
