I’ve been going to this pharmacy since I was a kid just the closest to home. Over the past few years they have made serious medication errors from giving my mother another patient’s medication who shares a similar name. Printing the wrong medication frequency information causing her to have serious edema in her neck & face resulting in an emergency. Recently I dropped off a prescription Tuesday at 3p. Told to pick it up 5p that night. I come Wednesday 5p. Told wait 15 min it will be ready… 15min later it’s out of stock we can order it for you..(huh this should have been done already & I should have been called to been updated tuesday). Friday I call is the medication in? Nope but our warehouse may not carry it at all we’ll only know if it never comes in and actually it might be over the counter (if it might be over the counter than I should have been told that Tuesday not Friday). Delaying when someone can have medication is a medication error. There are too many holes in the way this Walgreens works & it’s going to kill someone one day if it hasn’t already. Go somewhere more diligent.Just went to cvs in cedar grove got what I needed in 10 min & experienced staff even made a few suggestions for care for me to consider.

Went after being at the ER all day and was told my insurance couldn’t be billed because it was expired. Got it fixed and when I went back the next day the employee with glasses and curly hair (no I didn’t bother to look at your name with that attitude) had no customer service. This is a pharmacy and you’re seeing patients, no need to make it worse when all I did was walk in. My insurance is apparently not accepted which would’ve been nice to know the day prior when I initially went. This prescription is an emergency and the tech was no help, I worked in a pharmacy for 2 years and I know this isn’t the standard. Must really be short staffed if these are the employees. This experience was so bad I actually wrote a review.Update: called my insurance to see where it is accepted, first listing was Walgreens so there’s also that. Not surprised and not amused, do better. CVS helped me kindly and quickly, go to them!

All the posts you see about the pharmacy here being terrible are true. My wife went to the urgent care and was prescribed a certain eye drop medication. They tell her first, order isnt ready then oh were out of stock. I legit said so your telling me walgreens just has an over abundance of people with eye infections or your place is incompetent. The attitude they have is ridiculous. For them to type something on the computer is a chore. Hey walgreens fire your pharmacist and the people there and restart. How a pharmacist has never heard of a certain medication baffles me

They told me I could not drop off a 30 lb fedex package and that this is all Walgreens store policy, I just got off the phone with Fedex who told me their policy is actually 150 lb maximum drop off weight. Staff lied to avoid doing work, laziness..

Never use this pharmacy. They are the worse pharmacy ever. The girl who works here her name starts with an A she’s a tech has a very rude attitude towards the customers and should definitely not be working at a retail pharmacy. I dropped off 3 scrips for my daughter two were otc and one was an antibiotic it took them 4 and 1/2 hours to make them. I am a pharmacy technician and it does Not take that long to fill prescriptions. I will no longer use this pharmacy especially with their attitude and lack of caring about their patients. So, I Highly suggest you don’t use them either.

Disaster of a store. Staff are overworked. Walgreens needs to take the billions they made during covid and hire a few more people. Their treatment of patients could be a case study in a lack of business/medical ethics. Tri town pharmacy is right next door and ten times better. Except it doesn't have a marketing division driving customers. Shame.

I haven’t been here in years. The pharmacy is a nightmare! The lady in the kaffiyeh decided it was more important to text on the phone in front of me for more than 60 seconds then talk to the customers. I finally said is this so important to be on the phone? After that I got the rudest service. My mother also has trouble here and switched to the one in Wayne. The employee should be fired asap for her behavior. Don’t go here at all. Only if you need something very quick and this is my last time here

First, I’d like to start with shame on the store manager is, it’s your fault that the pharmacy department is always backed up. Then I want to say shame on the district manager for allowing you to be the store manager as you can see your stars reading is poorly, and that’s because the customer satisfaction is horrible. It’s annoying when you’re waiting 45 minutes in a drive-through. And then you’re told we are short staffed because they are cut an hours from corporate. I say it’s all about meeting the quote. And receiving your bonuses shame on you, this store is the worst Walgreens I’ve ever been to. I will not believe the employees it’s the store managers fault shame on you. I hope corporate looks at this. And fires your first.

By far the worst pharmacy ever. I learned my lesson months ago to never go here but when my pharmacist ran out of a saline solution my last resort was coming here. Even my pharmacist on the phone was apologizing to me for sending me here.( he even tried calling 3 times before I came, which either they would hang up on him or not even pick up) 42 minutes I waited for a saline solution to be filled. 4 people working behind the counter, no sense of urgency whatsoever . It’s like they think this is some sort of joke. You can tell by the dozens of negative reviews how bad they are. Train your staff better.

You call the pharmacy and they NEVER answer. When asked how to taken certain meds prescribed by the doctor they never know or tell you to “read the instructions”. They are always clueless when asked any questions. Prescriptions never in right away or long wait times for pick up.UPDATE from April 2023:My doctor prescribed me migraine meds (8 pills per month) and the pharmacy sent an email saying it was delayed due to insurance issue and then another email saying my prescription was partially filled and ready for pick up (6pills and 2 left pending) I went to pick it up with a copay of $4. Two days later I get another email saying the rest of my prescription was ready for pick up. When I got there it was another 6pills this time with a copay of $13. I explained to the pharmacist that my doctor only prescribed 8 pills not 12 and why are the copays different now. Long story short none of the pharmacists there had any clue on what to do or say. They said “we don’t see any emails being sent to you” yet, I showed them all the emails I received and the original prescription. They had no idea, didn’t call my doctor or the insurance for clarification. When I asked why are the copays different for the same amount dispensed they said they did not know why. The staff here lack experience, are clueless and helpless AT ALL TIMES! I need to look for another pharmacy who can get their job done right. Little do they know I work for health insurance and this will be further investigated with my insurance and doctor. I do not trust this pharmacy AT ALL!My son also had 2 albuterol refills that the pharmacy NEVER dispensed and did not know what to do with that matter either. This place needs new management and new staff ASAP!

It's a terrible system. I couldn't get my prescription for two days. First they said they didn't have my profile, then they said they didn't have my prescription. Even though my doctor sent it three times. Horror horror horror horror.... I was left as unhappy and angry as possible. I had to give the doctor another address to get my medication.

This pharmacy is quite literally the worst location I have ever been to. If you go in person its at least 45+ min wait for something simple. If you call they don't pick up the phone and if they do they put you on hold for 35 min. My own doctor has directed all of his prescriptions away from this location because of how bad they are. I have been told they are short staffed. Then hire more pharmacists because this wait time was way before the pandemic happened. The manager took care of me afterward (which I appreciate) but it shouldnt take them stepping in for such a simple task. I dont normally write bad reviews unless I have had several bad experiences that have pushed me to my limit. A pharmacy manager seems like what they need to organized. There was another time they were running a sale on mucinex that then they told me i couldnt buy because I was buying 2...the sale was one buy one get one half off!! Smh its too much aggravation for one store. If you want to make money, get your ish together!

I don’t know why I keep going back to this Walgreens. It is absolutely the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. If you need a prescription filled, do yourself a favor, and go to any other pharmacy. Unless you are OK with waiting hours in line and on hold, and several days for the prescriptions to actually be ready. Oh and zero customer service skills.

Went here the other day and there was so much garbage in the parking lot and all around the outside of the store. It was disgusting! There were empty bottles, food containers, masks, bags and paper. Honestly, for such a massive company, and the climate drastically changing for the worse, you guys should be on top of keeping the store clean.Also, every time I stop by this Walgreens the shelves are half empty.Staff is friendly, but Walgreens, maintain your lot clean.

First off the staff is fantastic! They were incredibly helpful and professional. It’s a holiday weekend for Easter Sunday/Passover/Ramadan (I had ordered pictures and did not expect to be able to pick them up today). They aren’t even being paid time and a half. Management needs to learn to treat its staff better and actually pay them extra when forcing them to miss a holiday with their families. Shame on you, treat your employees better!

I have nothing but bad things to say about this place.I'm sure the people who work here mean well but they do not have the support to maintain a functioning business.If you were like us and keep coming here because you don't know where else to go, transfer your prescriptions to Rose Pharmacy about 8 minutes away, they are wonderful.Leave here and never come back.

Worst pharmacy I have been to. Pharmacy is always slow and appears to be understaffed. There is no way to quickly pick up or drop off anything unless you catch them at the perfect time. The drive-through is a joke and is always full. It also extends wait time because they use the same cashier for inside and the drive through. The shelves in the store are often understocked and missing items. Don't rely on this Walgreens to have what you are looking for. Unfortunately, it is one of the few pharmacies near me, so I dont have many choices.

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve been there 6 times since October. Not one time was it smooth. Every time the wait was longer than 10 minutes, today was over 30 minutes. So disorganized. No courtesy to explain things and the pharmacist is terrible. I watched today as she or an assistant opened a bottle of medicine they were packaging up without gloves. And without masks. I am so glad I can go another pharmacy now. I can’t believe they haven’t been fined or inspected. What a shame.

Just had another miserable experience at the Walgreens Pharmacy on Browertown Road, Little Falls. They could not understand that a medicine I needed does not require prior authorization . What is needed is a code from a coupon I had to download from the Eli Lilly website and then provide them that code after which I would hand over $30 and say goodbye. I even provided an 800 number should they have questions. They kept insisting prior authorization was needed. I then called my old Neighborhood Pharmacy on Grove Street in Montclair and they helped me out instantly. All my scrips are going elsewhere . I am done.

Reviews are completely deserved. Had a Cov-19 test scheduled on a Friday, only to see the pharmacy closed when I got to the drive thru ( 1pm ). No cancellation or notification of this. Another time ( I come weekly), I was told there was no record of my appointment and therefore would not get the test ( I was the only one at the drive thru). No apology, no offer of a solution or offer to come back later. Nothing. Walgreens really should concentrate more on customer service, but I guess when you are so big, it really doesn’t matter how your customers are treated, does it?

Wish there was a fractional rating less than one star. The WORST pharmacy. The staff is horrible, slow and don't communicate with each other to even have the same story/lie when you come back for the same medication. Always an issue, always !!! Have to come back 2-3 times for the same medication. Wrong notification texts, etc. Switching over to CVS. I'm done with Walgreens.

This pharmacy should be shut down. I have never had a smooth transaction here and i have no idea why i keep going back. The app tells me my prescription is ready, i go there and sit in a line ever single time for 20min or more for them to tell me its not in the system? I get an attitude from the cashier as im trying to explain and physically show her the walgreens app showing my prescription is ready. Im then asked if i want to wait for it or come back. This has happened way to many times and no one has a clue what they are doing. Last week i witnessed them turn away a little old man who came for a vaccination telling him he has to do the appointment online. Clearly he probably doesnt have a smart phone and someone should have offered to help but instead turned him away.

Terrible pharmacy staff, especially the two pharmacist, they are rude, disrespectful they do not care. They will tell you your medicine is ready to be pick up and when you get there it’s not ready or they cannot find it. They’ll tell you to sit for 15 min but really have you waiting for whole hour or two. Just terrible customer service at the pharmacy. Someone should report them to corporate!

I didn't want to rate them so low but the public deserves my honesty. By all means do some shopping here but I advise against getting your prescriptions here. We were given the wrong prescription - the paperwork was right but the pills were wrong! When I called to complain all I got was "I don't know how this happened." Zero reassurance that it wouldn't happen again. The pharmacy is a never-ending chaotic mess that has steadily gotten worse over the last few years.

The pharmacy is always busy and the staff in my experience are helpful. I usually just pick up my prescription the next day have no problem. I’m surprised by the amount of negative reviews.I guess it wouldn’t hurt if this location hired more associates for the pharmacyHire more people like Raymond! - The man is a american hero!This dude was upbeat and had a great overall personality. Made me happy for coming to Walgreen.

Aside from the girl at the counter the pharmacy staff is completely rude, unhelpful and quiet frankly inappropriate. I came in with a workman’s comp claim script and was told by the doctor- give the prescription and say it’s a claim and that’s it. I was told I had to pay the balance of the prescription or run it through my insurance; which I told the girl. I shouldn’t be paying. She went to ask the obnoxious pharmacy tech; to who said I needed to call my company and get their policy number and that it; “was only $1.50” (mind you there were people behind me that don’t need to know my business) and with a comp claim that’s also wildly not the point. I went all the way back to my car with a painful knee injury to bring them all the documentation from the doctor and gave it to them and he didn’t even have the courtesy to come speak to me- he yells again across the pharmacy that I need to get in touch with my company and get their insurance information. As the reviews state below mine.Don’t get a prescription filled here.

I just sat at the pharmacy for a vaccine (non covid) that was scheduled for 45 minutes for a employee to come up to me with no mask to tell me “we have a problem. I don’t have the thingy I need to do this”. While waiting the pharmacist was just eating behind the counter as the line grew 7 people deep and only 1 out of 4 people behind the counter took anyone. Waste of an hour of my life and had to drive to Caldwell to get what I needed.
