My puppy went for his first time grooming and lasted forever I dropped him up around 10 am and was 2pm and he was not ready yet. I went to pick him up around 3 something. When I was driving back home I noticed that they did not trim his nails,😐 I called them back and ask why his nails were still long? She said because the puppy didn't let her do it. I was like wow really! How can a 8lb puppy control you ? Lol 😆 i just laugh.Never again service is horrible

PLEASE… FOR THE LOVE of everything, holy DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT bring your dog to this groomer….. If you truly love your dog, DO NOT DO IT.1. The owner doesn’t give a scheduled pick-up time but will call you when your dog is ready even though he is not….2. Takes more dogs that she can’t handle.3. You still have to wait an hour after they have called you to pick up your dog.4. They complain because the dog is either hyper or not cooperating.5. After they explained to me my dog had knots, she gave a price of $85. When I picked up my dog, she WAS TRYING TO charge ME $120 because my dog was too much to handle…I have been coming to this groomer for about 2yrs, (3 times ONLY) but it was never like this…These past two sessions were bad, today being the worse….NEVER AGAIN

DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT bring your dog here. They are HORRIBLE! I walked in one day and saw they were treating a dog very bad through the window and when I walked in they started being nice to it. Charge $65 for the haircut and my dog came out very uneven all over. He was walking fine before going in and after picking him up he started walking very weird as if his back legs are giving up on him. They did something to my dog. Do not bring your pets here. I do not recommend.

AVOID!!! This place USE TO give quality haircuts to my pets but I don’t know what is going on anymore. First the butchered my small female dog’s haircut. They shaved her when I didn’t ask for that and they left her hair on her head long and uneven. She came home with no collar and when I “got it back”it was the wrong collar, it was used, old, dirty and wrong size/color, but they put her tag on it and said it was hers. DISGUSTING.Then we brought my other dog because I thought it could’ve been some miscommunication. NOPE! They charged us $60 for grooming but my dog came back with matts/knots, his fur is uneven and his nails are still long. When he came home he was acting scared and nervous as well. He’s still a puppy and hyper so they probably mistreated him as the other comments suggest.It’s a shame because my family has known the owner for a long time and we never expected this. Try somewhere else if possible. Petco has glass windows so we can see everything and how they groom. I’ll probably bring them there.

Animal Cruelty! I brought my dog to this place for wash and cut. I received my dog back injured so bad that I had to take her to the hospital. My dog received 4 stitches on her hind leg that was glued YES this place glued my dogs laceration and never told me she was injured. When I got home my dog was not able to walk properly so I took her to the VEG emergency room where she received 4 stitches. Her haircut was botched. I will never return or recommend this place. They are are terrible and the owner never told me my dog was injured instead she tried to cover it up by gluing the injury. The liability insurance has not refunded my $814 ER visit. If I could rate 0 stars I would. This place is very unprofessional and has no bedside manner, they don't care about your dog. I reported them to the ASPCA for investigation. I will not recommend Marlene she never apologized for torturing my pooch.

This is a horrible place for grooming your dog,I left my puppy around 10am and it was almost 7pm when the call to pick up my dog, when I saw my dog I almost die, it was horrible everyone in my house was wondering if they had changed the dog but long story short they did not cut the hair in his paws, his ears were wet and dirty, they cut all the hair in his face, they half cut his tail hair, they dog smell horrible like they did not even shower him I do not recommend this place at all

We needed our cat to be groomed. Our cat had a big crump of fur on her back that we were unable to comb out. The groomer did an amazing job cutting it off without hurting her. They shampooed her and clipped her nails. Our cat looked and smelled great. When we picked her up she was extremely relaxed. It's a nice small shop. Good service. Close location. Scheduling an appointment was easy.

I took my dog last week to get groomed and we got him back acting so different. He was walking shifting his body side to side he looked so scared, he wouldn't eat or drink. My kids were so scared that they hurt him. I took him to the vet on Memorial day as an emergency visit because he didn't get any better. We were really concerned to see him walking that way. The vet said they cut him several places she gave him pain meds and cream for his cuts. I will never ever take him over there again and I do not recommend anyone else to take there pets there if they love there dogs.

I took my dog to Marlenes dog groomer about 3 weeks ago and I was extremely dissatisfied with the whole experience. First I brought her in on a Saturday which walk in only I was the 2nd person to enter. This was my first and last visit. When I came in she wrote my dogs name and phone number on a piece of scrap paper my first sign that I should leave. Then she said she would be done in about 2 hours. She said my dog had mats so it would be an extra 20 dollars for a new blade. So I agreed to pay it. So 3 hours later no phone call so I make my way back and just go get my dog. She was ready who knows how long in a cage with about 7 dogs running around on the floor and about 10 in the cafes. I get my dog in the car and find that she has 2 large cuts under her neck but she is just not right at all she wasn’t running jumping or any of the normal things she does. I was so upset and scared I took her to the vet and explained what happened. Vet recovered the cuts got infected and prescribed antibiotics and wipes to clear up the infection. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. She takes too many dogs and she maybe a good groomer but to me the rush to get to the next dog caused my dog injury. Stay away from this place.

They do a good job grooming, but they took 6 hours and they don’t speak English so they don’t hear what you have to say about your dog. They are just trying to chase time because they do like 6 dogs at the same time plus whoever walks in for like nails and bath.

very bad service receives dogs without saying that it is full. I took my dogs at 9 am and it's already been 12 hours and she doesn't have them ready, I don't recommend it to anyone, very bad experience as there will be two dogs for 12 hours in that place if they were one of the first to arrive there .

WARNING!!!! This is the worst place ever. Borderline cruel. They had my dog and all the other dogs in cages way too small for them. I dropped him off at 930am and he wasn’t ready until 415 pm. He was cut all over including his ears,chest, neck and privates. This was the first and last time my dog steps in that place. If you love your dog don’t take them there

First time and last. I dropped my 6 months old puppy here Saturday at 9:15am and I got him back at 9:45pm because they had 22 dogs in-front on mine. That’s a long time for any pet without eating. I took him herefor a cut and wash. When I picked him up he looked crazy. His hair was uneven and nails wear not trimmed , I had to asked the owner if she can cut his nails and her response was , OMG YOUR DOG IS TOO HYPER NOBODY WANTED TO DO HIM SO ILL CUT IT NOW. I had to remind her, he just turned 6 months what do you expect . $45 for nothing. 12 hrs service for nothing..

I love this place! My shitzu came here before I was he's owner and now with me. They are excellent groomers and dog sitters.they really know about dogs . I wouldn't trust anybody else. I'm always happy when I pick up my dog. And they are not expensive.

Shaved my dogs whiskers so short and he came back unhappy and sad, trust all the bad reviews. Don’t bring your dogs here if you want a completely shaved dog with the opposite of what style you wanted. Also the reasoning to why my dogs whiskers were cut and cut short was because he moved. I’m pretty sure as a professional it’s not your first day cutting dogs they move, so if your dog moves they can possibly get their nerves cut and be stressed and in pain. Don’t come here.

I brought my dog here once because it was close and i didnt want to drive to Newark to where i usually take her..lets just say NEVER again..they over charged me and they completely shaved her! The cut was not what i asked for. Plain over shave..her ears were not plucked/shaved or cleaned at all..i walked out of there paying 65 dollars for a 3 pound dog the best part of this story was that they tried to charge me an extra 20 dollars "because of her tangles" i was livid! They saw i was Clearly upset i told the women that they should have called me first to tell me about the extra money instead of assuming it was ok..and it was impossible for her to have tangles because i brush her often and even brushed her before i brought her so i was absolutely sure she had no tangles..thats when she said she would waive the extra 20...can u imagine! I would have paid 85 dollars for a 3 pound pup..with a cut i never asked for and hairy ears that they never trimmed..needless to say i wont be returning here ill stick to my 20 min drive to Newark plus its only 30 bucks for my puppy and they do exactly what you want..

If you want your baby pet to be treated like a number and by their name then this is the place. The 1st time I took lexy here they cut her in the neck. I thought because she was small she wouldn't stay still so I took her again and they clipped her esr. When I called to ask they said they cut her because she was going to bite her. I have a 4lb minature yorkie who is scare of everything. Needless to say you get what you pay for. Every dog here gets the same kind of cut for 35 bucks. Not worth my stress. I found something better and cleaner on valley Rd called snips & clips and they are way more cleaner then this place.

Please do yourself the favor and don’t bother with this place. They give botched haircuts and don’t follow through with their appointments. I became fed up with them when I arrived to a scheduled appointment and the place wasn’t even open even though they were supposed to be. I knocked on the door and called several times yet still no one came. Please save yourself the trouble.

I took my shih Tzu Teddy bears to them and they gave me jack Russell s back. I wish I could give then negative stars. I tried to save a few dollars and time because this chop shop was close to home...what a bad choice that was. If you love and adore your fur babies don't go here. Regretfull dog owner😒

You drop of your dog early in morning and they call you to pick up the dog late 7-8 hours later. Dogs came back with cuts and fleas. Owner yells at you when you asked about undisclosed pricing that varies.

I don't love anything from here. The hurt my dog while in the process of grooming him. The skinned him on the top of his eyes so bad. Before that grooming he came home smelling like urine with the hair cut all uneven. Unexperienced personnel.

horrible experience more than once. On my last experience my dog was there from 9am till 7:30pm. They take on more than they can handle. Extremely unprofessional. NEVER GOING BACK!
