We absolutely LOVE the royal python's cove. We adopted our baby banana ball python and he is absolutely perfect. The best little personality who had been raised by some amazing people who prepared him for us. We've bought his rats and supplies as well from Royal Python and they've always been perfect. We've even gone to their "snake tour" multiple times and always have a blast meeting the animals! I could not recommend this place more- it's a beautiful shop with some beautiful people!

I went here a few weeks ago when I couldn't find roaches for my bearded dragon. The staff is very knowledgeable and the owner is very professional. Love this place they treat you like family. I had questions about my bearded dragon and they answered all of them with so much detail and don't rush you. I even made her a vet visit so quickly they saw her the next day. They looked her over top to bottom and even did her nails. Told me every detail I needed to know about her and wrote everything down what they did to her. I'm pleased with my visits I've had so far with them and I'm sure you would too. Definitely go check them out there amazing.

Don’t go to a big box pet store if purchasing a reptile- purchase from this store! Terrific experience in this store. Staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. They even opened five minutes early for us when they saw us standing outside! Animals are in fantastic condition and very well cared for. They are passionate about quality care. They were out of uvb tubes when my son and I bought a bearded dragon. The sales person went so far as to suggest purchasing elsewhere in the interest of the animal’s welfare rather than wait for new stock to come in. The didn’t try to push extra nonessential up charge stuff on me and treated me with respect. Their reptiles are in terrific health and the store is kept very clean. Feeder insects also seem well fed and were of the appropriate size for a baby bearded dragon. They took measurements of the baby and weight and gave me a care sheet that outlined what it had been eating up to that day and other care it had received. This is much more than you’d get at most pet stores. Don’t go to a big box store. Buy local and Purchase from here!

My local police dept in PA got a call for a lizard wandering a parking lot. It was in a non residential area. It turned out to be a Savannah Monitor. It was super friendly but absolutely needed veterinary care. I called several reptile rescues and these guys answered immediately. They were extremely knowledgeable, respectful, and friendly. They took him in and immediately gave him the care he needed and deserved. All their animals inside look well kept and well taken care of. My only wish is that this store was closer to my home lol

I am so thankful this business moved into town. They offer so many amazing services from home delivery to boarding pets, check ups and more. It's a great place for basic supplies and buying/adopting a new pet. The owners care a lot and are receptive to feedback. If there is something you are looking for they will help you get it.

The staff at Royal Python's Cove is so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient (with my excited daughters age 9 and 7 who had a million questions). My girls loved the snake room tour we booked and can't wait to book another one! The staff has helped me on numerous occasions as a slightly nervous first time snake owner, ensuring I am doing what is best for our pet.

I recently purchased a baby bearded dragon from RPC last month. I had her shipped directly to me. I asked multiple questions, and everyone I spoke with was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. This was my first time purchasing a reptile online and having it shipped to me so I wasn't sure what to expect -- but she was shipped super securely, and was perfect upon arrival. She's been eating great, and is beyond adorable. I would highly recommend purchasing your next reptile from Royal Python's Cove!

Had a great experience with the owner and staff. My red tail boa had been having medical problems that I have had no previous experience with in 15 years, I called asking for local vet recommendations (just moved here) and they went ten steps further and asked if I could bring her in and take a look at her together. I was only able to get there barely before they closed, but all of the staff stayed and handled my girl with utmost care. It was a very educational experience. The owner recommended a great vet, we went and she's on her way to getting better! It's clear the entire staff cares very much about animals.Their delivery service for frozen rodents is also phenomenal. Thanks guys!

Very concerned about the conditions of the reptiles' habitats. Very little—if any—enrichment for most of their reptiles—especially the snakes kept in the back that the staff will show you on their paid tour.They had two Argentine tegus, each kept in an enclosure barely larger than the animal itself, and definitely not longer than their full length snout-to-tail. These are listed as not for sale, which suggests to me that these are not temporary habitats for them. Recommended enclosure size for Argentine tegus is typically 8'x4'x4'.On the tour, we witnessed several adult bearded dragons kept in enclosures that couldn't have been larger than 10 gallons. Only one was kept in a 40-gallon (still smaller than the recommended 120 for a permanent enclosure) and it wasn't the fully-grown German giant.We also saw a reticulated python that I believe the staff person said was about 10 feet, but kept in an enclosure where it was folded in half and still curled up at one end, unable to stretch out. Snakes need to be able to stretch out and the minimum recommended floor space dimensions for a snake's enclosure is the snake's length doubled (the snake should be able to stretch out between two perpendicular sides minimum—ideally they should be able to stretch out straight along a single side if possible).This was our first visit, and I had very high hopes for this store, but was very sad to see the condition the animals were being kept. I understand it's not typically economical to house for-sale reptiles in recommended sized enclosures when they're expected to be temporary, but Royal Python's Cove is also a breeder and I expect many of the snakes we saw are not for sale and are used for breeding—meaning their housing is likely permanent.I understand this is a relatively new store, and I sincerely hope they are working toward a major infrastructure upgrade for their reptile habitats.One star added for the friendliness of the staff we met.

Just went here for the first time today! Staff was very friendly and helpful! I wanted a panther chameleon and didn't have the whole amount for down payment but they were nice enough to let me by with much less. They also care alot about the animals health. Definitely recommend this place!!!!! Can't wait to have my baby soon!!!!!!!!!! ❤️

I had a great experience with Royal Python's cove and would highly recommend buying from them. I bought a very well handled and docile banana/pastel/calico ball python from them for my family. The entire staff took the time to teach my children how to handle many of the snakes and other reptiles they have in the store to make sure they were comfortable with their new pet. They continued to help with answering many questions in the weeks since the original purchase.

Holden went above and beyond for my frozen order even tho it was pretty specific with zero complaints and plenty of insight. Everyone is so nice and the feeder selection vast(insects included) amd let's not forget the tours of course😆. Ive lived in this area 23 years and I have been to every pet store in the area. This is hands down the best! They specialize in reptiles and have more specific products and animals you cannot find in your typical pet stores.Always has live feeder insects and rodents, which is very hard to find in this market.
