I have been ordering food from Woodbine Custard Ranch for at least 15ish years. Their food was always outstanding, and their service was exemplary. I ordered yesterday for the first time in 2024 and boy was I disappointed. To start with, they missed an item in my order, which is no big deal. It happens to the best of us. From there, it just got worse; the fried food we received from them (chicken tender platter and all fries) were soggy and disappointing (but fully cooked). Knowing I never had a bad meal I ordered something I normally wouldn't, a Tuna Melt. What I received was something I wouldn't be able to give away for free, the presentation and the taste were the equivalent of dog food. The new owners obviously are unable to keep the same standards the Rogers did, and I won't be eating there again. (Pictures attached)

"Best Milkshake's" absolute must have any time I'm in the area. They also have a good food menu option. Water ice, funnel cake, pretzels, and more. It's the place to go to enjoy a taste of summer.

Very pricey.... I understand that they are the only place in the area but $12 for these to little sundaes which are "medium and large" is up there...was a little suprised to see so little for so much.

Really good shakes. The carmel lretzel icecream was great. the soft serve had ice crystals but tasted ok. Mint chocolate chip shake was absolutely the best thing we got.

Stopped to grab lunch here, I should have taken photos! Their chicken wings are breaded like KFC, but they tasted amazing! We also ordered the cheese steak hoagie. Everything came out timely; knowing the quality of the food, we will stop again!!

Just under 10$ for 2 medium burgers cheese and bread oh yeah and thr brown bag forgot how expensive all that is and its no better that mcdonalds in hohesty the price and them smiling as i asked this is all that comes with my 5$ burger would not tell anyone to try this place

Love this place. They have the best I've cream an service!! Izzy is amazing & always so cheerful & happy to see you. Try their hand dipped chocolate & banana ice cream! I'm there about 3 or 4 xs a week getting it bc its so good! The owner is awesome as well as the cook they have the best cheese stakes around! I won't buy a cheese steak from any where else in Woodbine/Dennisville!!

First off the ice cream is very flavorful and reasonable cheap so I will give props to that. However…I got dinner from here tonight and I was not impressed at all, which is saying something because I was STARVING. I got a buffalo chicken tender wrap and I might as well got a McChicken from McDonald’s and threw some of their packet buffalo sauce on it for a couple bucks. 12+ bucks for discount priced buffalo sauce and cheese. Not to mention how awful it looked when I opened the box. My wrap was so stale that it was splitting apart right down the middle (not the way a wrap is supposed to.) leaving a lettuce, tomato mess that was barely holding together by a tooth pick, so I wasn’t surprised when I took a bite and realize nothing on said wrap had any flavor besides cheap buffalo sauce and flour. I wish this place the best of luck because it has potential but I feel like if it isn’t ice cream the staff just doesn’t care what they’re dishing out.

I took my grandchildren out for the day. We ordered our sandwiches and sat at an outdoor table. After waiting over 30 minutes, I finally went up and asked if our food was done. The girl went in the back for a couple of minutes and came back with our food in a bag. I'm curious as to whether our food had been done or it actually took that long.My crispy chicken tender wrap was not good. It had thick orange American cheese on it and too much honey mustard. My granddaughter had a cheeseburger with just ketchup which we had to add.My grandson ordered a cheesesteak. It was the best tasting item.

We stop here when returning from the shore. The soft serve is very good and reasonably priced. Parking is right out front and to the side. Most people pick up and go but there are about 4 picnic tables outside with umbrellas to enjoy your ice cream safely. Service is done from the walk-up windows and it looks like there is no indoor service. If you need a napkin, you'll have to ask for it.

Great place with great customer service. It's a family tradition to go to the Custard Ranch every time before heading home from the beach. My mom had the same tradition with my great grandmother when she was a little girl. And no matter what it always puts a smile on our faces.😁😋

The milkshakes are the best I've ever had!!!! My daughter "sees rainbows" while drinking them.Been eating here for years and the food is always fresh and you actually get enough for two dinners. Of all the "shore food" the ranch is our favorite!

This place is your best friend on a hot summer day driving to Sea Isle City. Definitely worth stopping by. There's more than just ice cream here, the menu includes burgers, sandwiches and more. Easy access parking, one quick stop, and the kids happy-go-lucky again.

Great food and service. Awesome cheese steaks along with VERY tasty deserts. Large assortment of hot sandwiches and cold custards and treats. If in WAY south Jersey or out for a Sunday ride, this is a must stop!

I have been going here for years! Every year we get excited when they open and get sad at the end of the season when they close. The food is always good. My favorite are the chili cheese dogs and chicken wings. The ice cream is great too! Never had a complaint!

Always loved this place but last time I was there I asked for whipped cream on my milkshake, the girl did not understand my request. She seemed to not understand my entire order, actually. I ordered 4 items, all usual menu items. She was very confused.
