I can’t say anything but wonderful things about Shore Animal Control. My indoor cat got out of my vacation home in Stone Harbor. Upon reaching out to them, I received a personal call from Linda within minutes detailing a plan of action and multiple posts to lost and found groups. Linda even took it upon herself to offer me a trap and support to catching my beloved pet. Within hours she was found. They are the best!

Very responsive, professional and each and every employee truly has passion for animals. When I had an incident with my dogs I spoke to them twice, they assured me my dogs would be safe and offered advice on how to deal with a not so dog friendly neighbor.

Willow my cat has been missing 9 days, she was hit by a vehicle years ago and is skidfish with loud noises. The Vet said put her down, I said no. She lost half her tongue and her jaw is wired. Her ear is docked. . I don't know if I can post a photo, I'll see if I can. She lives on butter road in Palermo, down the street from Beacon animal shelter. Willow is about 11 years old. She is a grey tabby. ❤❤

While in the process of a move, one of our cats got out of the house. I called animal control and spoke with Officer Wendy, and within a few minutes, pictures of our cat was posted on Shore Animal Control's FB page. The advice Officer Wendy provided was instrumental in helping Blue find her way home again! Great experience from start to finish. Thank you!

I can't even let my dogs out without being harrased by them and asking me questions and taking pictures and asking me questions about my personal life and if my dogs have shots and when they were told yes and I told them we were associated with Shore Vet so they can just ask them they decided to tell me that I had to send the proof within a few days or I would be fined. They are crazy. They care more about harrassing good pet owners than helping stray pets

Called number and left msg. They called back shortly thereafter and let me know someone would be to my location to remove/ rescue an injured sea gull on my deck. The person arrived and carefully captured the bird and took it away.

I think the ppl. Are very Nice. Alexis came to my house Twice. One time a a tiny, matted dog had dug himself in under my Neighbor's construction trailer. She came out and took the dog, who was then adopted. She also came out when a cat kept showing up on my porch. My Neighbor across the street "Owns" the cat, but NEVER let's it inside. How is this Possible? If I bring him in, my house, am I stealing his cat??

Do not waste your time, do it yourself. They had one cage for 6 kittens to be caught then told us they euthanize them after they are caught or catch and release, what good is that ? if your going to kill them leave them alone, if your going to CNR them so they starve makes no sense. Very disappointed in their service. We caught them and found all kittens homes in less than 2 weeks and we paid for the spay and neuter.

Without a doubt, these people are terrific. My friends and myself commend the officers who are walking the Delaware Bay during Memorial Day and Labor Day when the signs are posted stating "No animals on the beach" .....these officers take some abuse and not so kind language,but they handle themselves very professionally.

horrible ! i found a baby cat on friday when i called animal control the only thing they would do is loan me a trap while i did all of the work. so i did. she has now had the kitten sitting in a cage ALL DAY trying to lure the mom who hasn’t been seek in five days . i thought you are supposed to be rescuing animals. if i didn’t already have three days and wasn’t six months pregnant i would keep the kitten

I called with questions regarding animal abuse but they wouldn’t even answer my questions or call me back because I “don’t live in their jurisdiction” (west wildwood) even though the animal I was calling about is in their jurisdiction (north wildwood) What a JOKE! I guess since I don’t pay taxes in their jurisdiction they can’t waste a minute of their precious time. God forbid!!!
