I give this ShopRite 5 stars because it's one of the best I've ever been to. If you prefer organic options, this ShopRite has a fantastic organic selection in its own dedicated section, which I appreciate for its efficiency. The staff is incredibly helpful, and despite how busy it gets, they always have multiple checkout lines open.

Been coming here for years, and will never return. For someone who was sweeping the floor. Not even looking at the registers, following me out the store, grab my arm, and accuse me of stealing. I've never stolen a thing in my life and I'm not about to start with a 59 cent cup noodle. I will never return to this store in my life

This place is always busy but they really do have everything you could need. I ordered a cake online recently, special made, it came out perfect and it was so easy to order and pick up. The cake was of course delicious!

The new self checkout policy has made it impossible for me to shop here. I have sensory issues and grocery shopping is difficult for me. The only way I could handle it is by being able to not interact with anyone in the store and just get in and get out.The self checkout used to be 30 items or less and that was always more than enough for me. It recently changed to 20 items. I was pretty sure I had about 20 items so I went to use self checkout. There was no line and all of the machines were open. I was told that I needed to count the items in my cart to prove I had less than 20 or I couldnt use it.I felt that it was unreasonable to demand that i count my cart, especially when all the machines were open, so I left self checkout and went to use a regular register. There were only 2 open in the entire store and both had significant lines. I waited in line for about 20 minutes to be able to check out. I would have been checked out and on my way home already if I'd been able to use the empty self check out area that I have always used.One of the last times I went through a regular checkout my cashier left the register, without saying a word to me, before I was able to pay and disappeared. My items were all scanned but I was stuck waiting because the transaction wasn't complete. I stood there with my cart loaded and my debit card in hand completely trapped bc I couldn't pay. Only to have the cashier return and act annoyed that I was still there.I used to do 90% of our grocery shopping here and have switched to only about 5% because of these changes. You can't limit self checkout AND refuse to bring in additional cashiers and expect people to be okay with it. Our time is valuable too and I refuse to wait in line for 20 minutes, sometimes more, every time I need groceries. I do not shop here any longer if I can help it bc the checkout process has been so unpleasant the last several times.

Go to the store before 10 am. Fully stocked and no rush or lines. It will be a quick in and out for your grocery run.It gets super busy in the middle of the day. Fresh bakery, cakes, fruits and veggie stocked.Nice and clean store.

The ShopRite used to be a lot better, and treat people with more respect. It feels so they don’t treat people with kindness. I went to apply for a job As a cashier that I am more than qualified and had told Celeste, I was willing to lift heavy packages up to 100 pounds and told her about my experiences being a cashier. And I’m willing to learn anything and can learn it relatively quickly. She basically turned me down for a Job My hair color goes against their policy (where I understand that dress code is necessary. I don’t understand where a hair color Being natural or not Matters, especially when I told her I am willing to cover my hair in a wrap or whatever she needs me to) I should also add that when I called her back she essentially wouldn’t give me a direct answer as when I hear back about my application I said, should I expect to hear back within a week or so and she refused to give me any certain answer only saying that my application is valid for 90 days which last I checked is not a direct answer I feel like the management should be able to tell you whether they feel as if thecan move forward with The instead of just leaving you in the dark ! ( it’s a Real pity that she wasn’t mature enough to answer question or be direct I would think that being a manager for the upward of five years or longer, would be able to grant her the dignity to answer question Properly and not hold precious over somebody based on their hair color it’s actually discrimination and quite unfair ) I shopped here for the first 20 years of my life and I Don’t think it’s fair that she is treating people people this way, and should honestly reevaluate her job !

EHHHHEEEEM ! IS THE MICROPHONE ON !THIS Plastic Bag Issue Appears To Be A Way These Big Grocers Take Advantage .Their Cashiers No Longer Spend Time Bagging. They Now Can Push Customers Out The Door .That They Do. So Much So, That They Don’t Even Consider Giving Customers Enough Time To Put Their Payment Cards, Cash And Or Check Receipts and Save Them Away , Thereafter While The Customer Is Trying To Bag Their Groceries, The Cashiers Are Pushing The Next Customers Groceries On Top Of The Previous Customer…..Then The Customers Clash With Each Other Because They Are Invading Each Other’s Space With Coughs Or Ankle Bumps With Their Carts.So, Our We Saving Our Planet, But Paying More At The Grocer and Stressing More And Being Less Appreciated?5/2/24…..SO, IS IT THAT YOUR DELICATESSEN SERVES OLD CROSS-CONTAMINATED DELI MEAT SCRAPS AND PLASTIC WRAPPINGS WITH MEAN ATTITUDES WHEN YOU ASK THE CLERKS TO CLEAN THE SLICER THROUGHLY …..and WHY DON’T YOU HAVE A SEPARATE CLEAN SLICER FOR “KOSHER-ONLY” ?

Dear Management,Check out time is getting worse, regardless if all registers are open.This matter is exacerbated because the self checkout machines dont recognize barcodes of all store items, requiring the attention of the team, increasing the checkout times and lessening the overall customer experience.I love this store but please work on a better process to get customers out the door quicker. Today (1/3/24) was painstakingly SLOW & employees seem discombobulated.

Not many times it's not busy but it's run well. Deli department needs help, don't preorder lunch meat sliced thin. It's cut wrong most of the time mostly too thick or it's the end cuts of the lunch meats. Pretty lame for that. They're typically fine when you order in person. Update- Deli still painstakingly long wait and slow. 4 or 5 ppl working and only 1 serving customers as I stood there for 20 minutes before I ordered. I assume others doing online orders which is even more frustrating.

Ok..So. I was on the toilet in this store and at least 6 workers came in and didn’t wash their hands after they were using the bathroom. I’m not not picking but c’mon!! I saw the last guy go from the urinal then out of the bathroom. Turns out he was the guy in the kosher area. Not very kosher if you ask me. I work for a big company that delivers to supermarkets so I can say this and not lie but the saker (World Class) ShopRites workers in the men’s room for the most part DO NOT WASH their hands. Even after COVID-19 they don’t care about their cleanliness. It blows my mind EVERY DAY that I’m in there this happens whether it be the Hamilton stores east wind or Woodbridge etc. These worker are nasty as hell. They should put a hidden camera facing the sinks and door so they can be as appalled as I am on a daily basis. Long story short… Do not buy their open food or fish or kosher products cause kosher they are not. 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮.By the way I never worked for the saker family so I have no axe to grind but if they saw this they would fire most of their staff. And the owner is a germaphobe. If he knew how dirty his stores were he would have an aneurism

I don’t appreciate the fact that I was approached as I’m scanning my items to be told that I can’t bring the basket outside. One I am aware of this policy, two I’m in the store SCANNING MY ITEMS. Woman with the glasses and mask at self check out at 1:20 pm. Name tag was not visible but that was not okay.

On a tight budget, then you may want to stop and shop at this grocery store. Lots of fresh apples, oranges, fruits that's firm and sweet. This store is a Kosher certified store. Wholesome chickens, and other organic products. I am loving it...Bread. They had lots of variety of tasty meal choices you could sample... Vegetable fried rice, noodles cook on the premise. I was excited to see larger section with vegan products. Reasonably priced food items, lots of parking space. Take your time and make sure to cruise the aisles. Touch, feel and read (you know what I mean) lol.

Staff very rude especially Indian cashier name Mitali very rude no customer service , no smiling at customers no good morning nor hello I smile at her but she ignore me in between the transaction I ask her wow this is a good price don't think it so she did not answer my question after the transaction she did not said have a great day I was upset ask her Lady there is a word called customer service politeness , you did not greet ur customer . She bluntly told me ohh All Indians complain same I told her nope don't bring any country name we are customers of ShopRite. U r a cashier , if you don't like ur job leave it

This was the women accused me of stealing at self checkout and when I explained it to her she literally told me it was weird that I put my bag on top of my food but I was bagging my stuff and then realized I didn’t pay .. I’ve never stolen a day in my life it felt a little like she was bothering me because I’m black honestly

It seems to be a little cluttered for some reason and not enough cultural variety drink's or food here. I do like the Fajita mixture, it's great for omelettes, this is the only ShopRite that carry this blend.Also discovered a childhood FAVORITE Sparkling Water beverage from Canada. It has the same taste and better than the other brands in my opinion next to Sanpellagrino.

Past two visits the Spanish woman cashier today and the Muslim woman cashier last week was very rude. I had to ask to stop the belt because my food was getting crushed and I cant keep up with them scanning so fast. Then both women stood there telling me my total n never helped me bag a thing. I shop here often n will not be disrespected by these terrible women. I will stand in line before I ever go to one of these kind of women. Just because I'm white n old I deserve the respect as anyone else. Shame on ShopRite letting this happen.

The management and customer service team hunted down a man who stole my moms paper towels. They tracked him down and returned the items to my Angel of a mother. What a wonderful job by Shop Rite of East Windsor!! You guys are the best!! Thank you!!

On the shelf it says it is on sale, when you go to counter they say you need card, they should mention that you need a card, or qr code, there were some but, for first time visitors would not get that easily

New, highly sensitive self checkout machines caused me a HUGE problem tonight (10-09-23). Having just five items, I needed assistance two to three times. During the assistance I kept receiving explanations that I did not want to take the time to hear. I just wanted to purchase my five items and get out of there. Then, with all of the distractions from the "assistant" and the fact that the machine did not seem to be "beeping" when something scanned, the green beans - which I DID scan - did not register. Had I been hearing a beep I might have noticed this. Being distracted by constantly needing assistance did not help. THEN I get accused of purposely not scanning an item! So wrong. No more self check-out for me. This behavior toward the customer is abusive. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM SHOP RITE: I have no more time to waste here sending you another message as you suggest in your response. Why do you even ask me to send you another message? This one says it all. What would be the purpose of another message going elsewhere? You take it from here.

I was racially profiled by one of the Hispanic employees and instead of receiving an apology from the manager who was also Hispanic as well as the employee i was told this was practice to watch everybody yet i was the only one being watched. I knew she was itching to say something because she stood behind me yet it was other people in the store at the self checkout and was training the woman telling her she has to make sure i scanned everything properly. I keyed in the plantains and it came up as banana riped. She was adamant that I wanted to steal 6 plantains that I put the plantains in as bananas instead. I would never spend my money at this location again.

I just attempted to return ground beef patties at your store. My son bought them on 9/11 in the evening, good til date was 9/19. We opened the package last night.Just sliced open a small section of the clear wrapper, an extremely strong smell of rotten eggs was emitted.When I returned the purchase this afternoon, I was given a hard time. We didn't have the receipt, but proof of credit card purchase. Given an attitude because he didn't use MY shopper card. After a while I was given a store credit. I have shopped at the location since it opened. I feel I should have received an apology for your store selling tainted food instead of an annoyed attitude!!!Very displeased...please do better!!!

Be careful if you’re going to buy bananas here. Even though you show them the pictures of problematic ones, they asked you to bring your bananas back for refund. I’m not here asking for refund. I just feel uncomfortable paying those bananas.

Your store needs to do better about getting expired stuff off the shelf. I got excited to get somthing it was on sale and it expired over a month ago. You have all these people working in the freezer area and nobody looks.. almost all of them where expired.

If I can give this store a zero I would!!i placed a curbside pick up for 4:00-4:30pm.I came here at 4:15 was the first car here and I was just waiting. Another car pulled up with about the same amount of groceries. She got her order first. The associate male who helped that woman did not even acknowledge that we may have a pick up even though we were parked in a pick up spot! Number 4!! And just walked back in the store. I was on the phone for 30min waiting and I kept getting hung up on and placed on hold! I did not want to come Into the store because I am currently sick with Covid and did not want to spread it to others! When I came in once again customer service looked at me when I was next didn’t even say I’ll be right back anything. Just went inside and got money . When they finally got me “to the right person” I kept explaining to her what had happened and she kept saying “I just got here and we didn’t know you were here we didn’t receive anything” I said if u did not receive anything why did u not call my number to ask if im at the store and furthermore why did ur male associate not ask me to while he was helping out the other lady if I had any groceries! Horrible customer service waited 40 min on a curbside order!! and if I didn’t go in I’d be waiting longer. I am calling HR.
