Stay away from these places! These are puppy mills. If you are looking for a purebred dog find an ethical breeder that proves health and temperament test their dogs. These dogs will suffer from health and behavioral problems due to poor genetics and upbringing. Stores like this purchase these dogs from puppy mills and resell them to you. The parents and puppies are kept in horrible abusive environments!! Do not buy from stores. Go to a shelter or a ethical breeder!

I bought my maltese puppy from there Nov 2020. Reasonably priced compared to other pet stores I've been to that sell the same breed at double the cost. He came with his 1st set of shots and a prior vet visit to guarantee good health. He came with ACA registration papers, micro chip and a guarantee of good health or refund/ exchange. My puppy is a healthy ball of energy and I'm happy to have got him. I would definitely buy from this store again. Well worth it.

Thank God for Village Pet Shop, I was grieving the loss of my pom/corgi mix Tikki of 14 yrs, when I came across thier website, I wanted a chihuahua and they had only one for sale when I called and someone had already claim her, but God knew she belong to me, so the young lady at the store called me a day later and said the owners wanted to return her because she didn’t get along with thier dog they already had. I was so excited and picked her up and she attached herself to my neck and we have been connected and best friends for a year now, she is my friend and companion. Her Birthday was May 31st and she love to pose and take photos Thank you Village Pet Shop I have referred yoour shop because I recieved great service and a great healthy puppy.

Just take one look at their website and you know their dogs are from puppy mills. Do not purchase a dog here, either rescue a mutt or find a reputable breeder. These pet stores should be out of business.

We bought a Maltese Bichon, beautiful dog, walked in saw him , held him, 15 minutes we were out, going home with my darling baby.Two yrs later we bought another dog yorkie bichon so adorable. Saw him on the website, went to the store and bought him quick and easy. The shelters make it so complicated to adopt a dog. Buying is easier and you get exactly what you want.

I've had my Shih Tzu 12 years. Best temperament ever- however- has had tons of health issues, surgeries because she gets ear tumors, autoimmune issues, just overall sickly. This has been going on since age of 3-4. Puppy mill pups.

These poor puppies were freezing on vinyl flooring 8-10 puppies to share two small beds no water or food and the person working sat on the other side eating carrots with EarPods in and not attending to pets or shoppers. The pups were freezing trying to share one bed between five puppies. The pups didn’t looked cared for at all and when the worker was approached she was very very adamant. The pups looked very unhappy and not even wanting to be pet. Not used to being held or pet. It’s was sad and our mind was changed instantly about a purchase. :(. They need to be reported!!!

DO NOT buy from these monsters. I recently visited the Amish Market and walked through the store, as I have pets at home. There were two puppies there, poor Cupcake and Ava. It was a cold day and their “pen” was right by the door with only one tiny, worn out mat, barely big enough for the one puppy. They were both shivering. If I had the money, I would’ve bought them right there and then. I’m sure there are many more waiting to take their place. You people belong in jail!!!!

Buying my puppy from here was the worst decision I ever made. When I went in I spoke to the employee and explained that I live in a townhouse so I wanted a small dog. I don’t have a yard for him to run around but will definitely be able to walk him. She showed me the most adorable little black and white dog I’ve ever see! She then told me he will not be over 20 pounds full grown and is perfect for a small townhouse. So I buy him and come home. I noticed over time that he barks constantly. I do my research and find that the Blue Heeler I bought is meant for farms and herding. My poor puppy is going stir crazy!! He needs land and has to run. It’s been a year and a half. I feel horrible for him because he deserves a yard to run and play but I don’t have the heart to surrender him. I have found a great dog park we go to but that’s not enough for him. This shop didn’t care if I was a right fit for the dog they were selling me. They didn’t consider what was best for the puppy or customer. They just wanted to make the sale.

Purchased a cavalier king charles from here 7 years ago. She was an absolute sweetheart. Unfortunately, she suffered from extreme periodontal disease and had to have numerous teeth extracted since she was only 2! She passed at the age of 7 after contracting a horrible fungal infection and which developed to pneumonia & she could not fight it any longer. After much research, we found out she came from an Amish puppy mill in Ohio! We were heartbroken to lose her so early on in life and that she had to endure all of this. However, she was a great girl and we loved her so much!

I purchased my puppy there and she was in the worst condition. I wasn't told she had an operation til ready to sign papers and she's only 8 weeks old. She smelled so so bad, I couldn't believe it. Her nail and ears where never cleaned. I was almost ready to give her back but was afraid where they would give her to in that condition. I am a member of the ASPCA AND the Human Society. It breaks my heart to see a animal any animal in this condition. It's like they picked her up in a trash can. I have the name of the breeder and doctor who operated on her which I will be going to inquire on her condition at the time. They charged me 1700.00 for this puppy and I have asked for some part of a refund because it's going to cost an arm and leg to get her back in good condition. Bought a puppy on impulse in March 2020. Not one to buy but couldn’t imagine leaving such a sweet girl there. She had terrible kennel cough & a parasite, neither of which are Life threatening but it’s something I would’ve wanted to know if I was seriously considering purchasing a pup.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION.All of the puppies here do not come from knowledgeable, humane breeders. They are brought in from Amish puppymills up in Pensilvania. My now 2 year old Shiba Inu, Ryu, has been suffering from neurological issues from inbreeding. At the time of purchase, they gave me a blue form under the title of “American Canine Association, INC” with the breeders name listed. His breeder is Benjamin R Stoltzfus, and after doing some research I found many articles of puppy mill abuse under his name.So, I warn you not to spend a dime one one of these puppies and run them out of business. Its a shame. My poor dog has been suffering from seizures due to this.
