Just want to say a special thank you to Alan in sea-food, I genuinely appreciate your time, attention, & caring consideration!! I stopped at this specific Shop Rite for the best crab cakes (I miss Maryland & this is as close as it comes) I fully accepted that I managed to shop for way more than intended.. he saw that my arms were full and grabbed me a shopping cart!! I know the idea of customer service is all but extinct, which is why moments like this really stand out!! Thank you Alan for being so kind!!!

I had a terrible experience at this ShopRite location in williamstown . Two workers followed me throughout the store assuming I was stealing items, this continued into the self checkout out station. All items in my cart were scanned and paid for, I would like for my shopping experience to be enjoyable and not to be treated like a thief

Teach your employees how to properly respond to customers with courtesy and patience. Around 9:30 to 9:40 am Tuesday Nov. 28, I approached the side counter of the Zallies since there was a bunch of employees just standing around there. One of the short older white man (he was fixing the tator tots and roasted chicken in the hot foods section a minute ago) turned when I approached and I asked him if they had the vegetarian egg rolls while showing him a container of pork egg rolls because usually they have it and I have bought them before.My problem was NOT him saying “whatever is on the floor is what we have” twice but the MANNER in which it was said. Responding abruptly and basically like shooing me away. That’s NOT how you speak or word a response to any customer. He needs patience and learn to respond in a kinder manner, explaining that what has been put on the floor is what is left. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY no reason I should be expected to know this when employees are constantly adding more items from the back rooms and from storage to the floor and refilling stuff while I was STILL THERE! Heck he even added new hot foods just a few minutes before I approached him. He could’ve said he can check, he could’ve said that’s all they put out for THAT section. He could’ve asked me “How can I help you” instead of waiting for me to say something. Ask yourself if I was a person who looked like him (white) if I would have been treated this same way.

Prices were pretty expensive compared to Philadelphia ShopRite. I went there last night and not a big selection in the product isle for fruit. The pears that I wanted were pretty much already ripe and bruised. The navel oranges were $1 each or a huge bag for $10. I just couldn't catch a break. Acme here I come!

Try to looking another store for shopping , why??? You just come and get altitude from service ,you will understand ... 1) don't try claim coupons. 2) don't use EBT card 3) don't try ask too much about advertising from paper shoprite for some stup include free.----> If you don't want some girl call you Poverty, the cheapest.

I went there yesterday for deli meats. An employee named Martin helped me from the deli counter. Martin was pleasant & polite & thorough. He made my experience there such a good one... So much so that I had to compliment him. He thanked me sincerely & said it meant a lot; that he'd been having a bad morning. I thanked him again for not allowing it to affect his good attitude. Thank you, Martin!

This is my first review ever and unfortunately it’s a bad one. Personally I don’t like to leave reviews based off one bad experience but this was BEYOND upsetting. I called the bakery department on Tuesday to reserve a cake for my sister’s birthday to be picked up on Thursday. Thursday comes and surprise; no cake. I faulted myself thinking it would’ve been better for me to reserve it in person instead of over the phone, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered the cake again but in person to be picked up on Friday. I was even being given a detailed receipt to supposedly ‘guarantee’ they’ll get it right this time. I call Friday and they have no receipt, no recollection of my order and you guessed it; no cake. I had to call every bakery I could think of until someone thankfully had the cake I needed in stock and trust me; it wasn’t shoprite. If you’re going to buy a cake from them right then and there while you’re in the store, fine. If you’re thinking about reserving one like I did even days before the pickup date, just save yourself the time & frustration and order from a trusted bakery instead because you will be disappointed. Twice.

OMG never again I got accused of stealing,the employee screamed at me in front of everyone loudly, she said I didn't scan something she said she was going to get security, but never did she told me that I had a attitude with her and nobody is going to talk to her that way,when I first approached the self check she stared me down.i have seen this behavior before.seems to be a pattern, never again I was so humiliated.looks like the acme is getting my business..shop rite wants the customer to do all the work ,why I do know it's not like the prices warrant this.and I think they are hiring inferior employees because they have a hard time finding anyone who would be asset to the company..shop rite sent me a general message concerning my situation.they will never be able to correct what happened to me.self check out is not to the customer advantage,any employee could accuse you of stealing. It not anything I will do again.Dear shop rite I am not going to jump thru hoops I already reached out to you by leaving a review, your concern is not genuine,I know I'm just one person and you don't believe I could make a difference to your bottom line, but when I tell others what was done to me,they are appalled..

Is it policy for an employee to nab your parking spot , when you have a baby to carry in? He was pretty proud of it too. Younger , Red hair guy and ran in pretty quickly. This is the service to expect here , making Acme looking that much better .Unfortunately more to share that isn't great . Not the first time , but pretty upsetting when you buy a big thing of clementines, and two days later they are moldy. There were for my 1 year old son. Money wasted and have to find more . Terrible.

Have been stopping here on the way to Atlantic City for as long as I can remember. Prices are great and the Zallies fresh kitchen for the most part has a good selection of sandwiches and wraps. Personal favorite is the tuna wrap. Overall a nice place to buy food.

The food selection and atmosphere are okay, but what makes this location is their staff. My three year old absolutely loves coming here because of how friendly each and every person is no matter their age! BUT today was the best day , because a very amazing lady in the self check out gave my daughter a heart for her jacket right off her own vest. My daughter will absolutely cherish that and I will cherish that moment. Thank you!

ShopRite. What a beautiful place. Wonderful atmosphere. One of the best places in Williamstown. I hope they never change it. In the fruit and vegetable section, the painting of vegetables brings me great joy. Seeing the vegetables with their lovely faces makes me happy. The feeling of being in ShopRite is indescribable. The smell is like no other. It's not a bad smell, but a good smell. I feel at home there. One thing i dislike is the fact that they removed the kid section. It was the perfect area for children, filled with toys and ensuring fun for everyone. Other than that, wonderful. One employee, a younger gentleman with blonde hair named John was excellent. He had great customer service, like no other employee. He was very polite. He was very helpful. It gave me hope for the future of our country. Maybe one day ShopRite will be my home, because it sure feels like it.

This store & the 1 in Berlin are both owned by the Zallie family. I haven't 'done' the deli @ the Berlin store, but THIS one has my FAVORITE salads! They have certain heatable dinner sides, too. LOVE the bakery here: the cake decorator does the BEST job & does wonderful custom work according to my needs! Once they did a half sheet cake for me for a wedding shower, & she did it in the bride's colors & similar to a wedding cake w/exquisite details!Come early for store-baked bagels: they go fast! I LOVE THIS STORE!!

This is a nice supermarket. Shelves are usually stocked, ample checkout lanes and self checkout. Also has a full bakery and kitchen with daily freshly cooked foods. Prices have gotten really high and produce has not been very good recently, but that may just be a sign of the times.

I really like this ShopRite because the employees have a much better attitude here than in the Vineland location. However, I gave this ShopRite a neutral 3 star review for now because none of the fresh fruits and vegetables are WIC eligible right now. I do believe this is a corporate issue rather than a store issue. The customer care line is closed now and I'm using this as a reminder for me once I have a chance to call customer care.

The store is great with good stock and selection. Neat and clean with items properly arranged. My biggest issue is how drastically high their prices are for the same things I buy at other places. It's not just a few cents. I'm talking dollars higher. I sincerely believe it doesn't have to be this way. When I saw $7 for creamer I almost threw up. Cmon guys!We seem to get taken advantage of for every world wide issue and like zombies, we just go with the flow. They bled us dry during covid, they're doing it now because of the war in the Ukraine. Or so they all say. What a world.Unfortunately I have to go to several places to buy groceries because of quality issues or insane price gouging. I buy what I need quality wise from this store. 5 bags of groceries last night was $209. Fruits, veggies, a few snacks and a few Thanksgiving side dishes and I didn't even buy a turkey. I figured, I was already here, I might as well get what I need. Now I know why I shop at other places.Again, the store is great. But their insane pricing kills it for me. They've always been high. I used to own the pool supply store right behind them. We sold janitorial and paper supplies. They had way more buying power than me, which should have meant savings to you folks. We were cheaper at our store for paper products than they were. Why? Because we didn't feel the need to jack your jaws.

So, less and less of what I'm looking for here. The only reason I still go is because it's close. They just got rid of a large amount of their shopping carts and brought in some old used beat-up green ones that look like they've been around since the 1950s!Just added more self check out registers. Trying to get rid of all the cashiers. Shame.Things have gotten better since my original post.. There's a new group of managers and while not friendly,, they aren't rude like the last crew.. Cart returns are back making the parking lot a little safer for your car although Williamstown has some lazy people who can't walk two spaces to put their carts in one!! Same goes with entitled knuckleheads who feel their parking space is the fire lane.. Store seems a little cleaner, less pallets and stairs in the aisles. So it's getting there. I forgot the one dept. that is fantastic is the bakery! Friendly, helpful staff. Cakes etc look and taste great!

I do not like to Support any business that is only running on self check out.. I don’t care what time it is… I don’t care what day of the week it is… I think it’s ridiculous to only have self checkout available. When I was in high school, when I was in college, I was a cashier. Self checkouts, are taking away jobs.. so that Company can make more money I think it’s completely ridiculous. I stop shopping at Walmart because of this.

My new local Shoprite. So far so good. I've been shopping 4 or 5 times now n the employees have been great. They recognize me by now n let me do my thing. When I have a question the get me a complete answer. They don't try to just give any answer to get me out of their face like a lot of stores do. They are extremely thorough. If it looks like I'm not getting the sale price when checking out they make sure I get it. The manager or supervisor has even come over to do the register my last visit cause I wasn't getting full discount on the 12 packs of soda. I really like this ShopRite. The isles are always clear. Stock is usually on shelf and if they arer out and it's a sale item they will give a rain check with no problem and I even went back with the previous weeks receipt and the sales circular from that week and the customer service gave me back money for items that I didn't get the sale price on so they really are great at this store I would definitely recommend this Shop right to anybody even if they didn't live in this area I would say it's worth the drive to come to this Shop right! I've always been confused by the ShopRite circulars and ads so I rarely do shop there but they are very helpful at the store and I'm learning how to understand their circulars now because of the employees at this locationStill the best shoprite around.

I went shopping here for the first time. It was the best experience I ever had. Young lady named Maria was my cashier she was very nice and professional at her job she was doing. The store was very clean and loved the little Cafe they had in there. I have a bad back there was a very nice woman name Donna that had a young gentleman help me bring my groceries in my car. This store made me feel very welcomed why I give it 5 stars.

Love the store and the prices. Not a big fan of all of the self check out lines that they installed. It seems like there are always things that have to be looked up to purchase which makes the lines go slow. Just wish that they would remove the bagging feature from the self checkouts. They only give you a small amount of space to use. Too many self checkouts, not enough people running registers anymore.

there was a malfunction on the computer on my aisle and i had to move to another aisle and move my remaining items. when the cashier told me she had to scan all the items over again i asked to see the manager and wanted a discount. The cashier was super sweet apologizing many times but the manager was nasty and said they don't discount for a computer malfunction. I mentioned I know they give senior discounts but she didn't care. She definitely did not have a good customer service attitude. I don't even think she apologized. I'm not happy
