Dead tree after a few days. I called to see what they could do. I was questioned on why I thought the tree was dying. I was told after we literally just had a hurricane that I need to water it more. The soil is still wet to the touch. Water is not the issue. This Willow was planted as a memorial for a lost love one and I was told they do no guarantees. $350 for a tree to last a couple of days when realistically it most likely died because the bulb was cut too small. Would not recommend. I could understand if it was a month later. But a few days? And nothing they can do for me?

They did a great job. For many years they are one of the few contractors and companies I can rely on that are professional prompt and do what they say. showed up on time , installed all the trees, and we’re very happy.

Lisa was very rude, unprofessional and too involved in her phone to care about customers. Used to be a good place, but the owners have really gone downhill with their inventory, quality and most of all, customer service! I’m extremely disappointed. If you’re going to have awful customer service skills, you shouldn't be in this profession. Wish I could rate zero stars.

I love this place. They have some many different trees and shrubs. The staff is very friendly and don't over try to help which is good, that way you can browse and plan. They have a cute older dog that is friendly and just roams around. I love The stuff we got from there today.

Wow the owner can come on here to make snarky comments in response to the reviews but he can't come on here and figure out why he has alot of bad reviews and so many dead plants and he doesn't seem to want to make it right so yea I would definitely rather go to lowes where they guarantee their trees rather than supporting a local nursery thats sell dying plants and trees with wrong prices with a bad attitude and then expect people just to deal with it and watering is not always the solution sometimes it can be the problem depending on what plant but the plants/trees are obviously not in good condition if you have so many bad reviews and little stars. Sad for you your only hurting your own business.

We bought a Autumn Maple from them. Lisa was very helpful in selecting our tree and how to care for it. She took us back and let us pick our tree. We also bought two hostas that are doing great. They delivered our tree in the heat and placed it where we wanted it. When we called with questions after purchase, they were very helpful. If you are looking for trees, shrubs or other nursery products, go see them. If you do buy from, listen to what they tell about how to care for it. You won't be disappointed.

Service is always great. Owner is intelligent about the plants and services offered. Will always make sure job is done right. Employee Dominic always gives 100% when it comes to making sure fellow workers satisfy customer needs while doing so himself. Easy group of people to talk to. Spent over $300 on a tree and it died within a few days. When I called I was told there was nothing they would do and to continue watering it.

No social distancing and I paid for 2-plants $90-each which had that price tagged on them which were 5’/6’ tallWhen I pulled up to get the plants they said they were $150 and those are 7’ plants even though they had 5’/6’ tagged on them you get those small plants the next row overI am over 6’ tall and the plants I was to get were not as tall as meThe owner was rude and said the price and height tags were old, I indicated to him the entire row was tagged with the same tags.I got my money back and left to never go back

Last August 2019 I went and purchased (1) Sugar Maple @ $150.00 and (5) Irish Shrub’s, $50.00 ea., well one shrub didn’t make it but that’s not the beef, the issue is the Sugar Maple. I call & text them a picture to Hobin’s the very next day letting them know how bad the tree looked, saying this tree looks bad and not gonna make it. Johnny Hobin keep saying water, water, and water. I did just that and hopped for the best. Well in April 2020, Sugar Maple is DEAD, and it was dead in Augusta 2019..Johnny Hobin’s response to me today, 4/25/20, I don’t guarantee STUPID.

Has displayed help wanted sign all summer. I called to check availability 3 month's ago. they said the position was filled and hung up on me. Shame I've spent a decent amount of money there on plants vegetables and mulch and they weren't even interested in meeting a Vet in need of work. I will never return.

They don't warranty their products. Bought a $100 weeping cherry that died. They acted like it was my fault. Go to Lowe's, they warranty their trees.

Family owned and operated nursery for as long as I can remember. Friendly and knowledgeable with a wide selection. Whatever you are looking for they most likely have it.
