Have been taking our dog to Sun Dog in Wildwood Crest for several years. He is usually a bit hyper but is great with staff and we travel an hour and a half year round (bring with us to shore condo during summer but make trip for grooming only in off-season!).Staff is outstanding! Christina always takes good care of Dozer ! He seems happy to see her and she always makes time for us. They groom out in the open where you can see the dogs being groomed so you know they are well taken care of. I love the fact that you don’t have to leave your dog all day like other places.

John does a perfect grooming on our Sydney! They are all professional ,pleasant , on time ,with reminders of our appointments. And a picture of the season after that looks like a post card. Best to book ahead. They book up quickly , we keep a standing appointment !

Wonderful place with an incredible staff! I have been taking my pups here for awhile now and they never let me down! The groomers are kind and patient with the animals & they are a clean & professional environment! They also send you seasonal photographs of the pups after each session! Couldn't recommend more!

Johnathon is amazing! He always does a great job with my dogs and is the only groomer they like and that I trust after so many others cut my dogs. I’ve never been dissatisfied by his work and he’s very professional and friendly. I have been using them for about 3 years now and will never go anywhere else. Best grooming salon in NJ!

I have a pug that is extremely difficult to have his nails cut. l actually went to 3 different groomers before here (because they were closer). No one was able to do him. I took him in to Sundog, they said "Please step outside so he can't see you..." I did & he was done in 5 min. in Sept. Just took him again last week same thing different groomer. Feel totally at ease with them. (We take loonnngg walks, so he doesn't need his nails trimmed as often).

I had a very pleasant experience. Ally was very kind, compassionate, made me feel welcomed and calm. I was alittle nervous but this place gets great reviews by the locals in town and I can see why! Everyone I spoke with was very understanding and patient. They have their customers and animals best interest at heart. I will definitely be coming back! My dog came back perfect! Sundog Grooming is an excellent place to go to get your pet groomed! Everyone is so friendly and clearly animal lovers. I take my Sheltie Cooper every six weeks. Christina is so sweet with Cooper. He actually enjoys going there. Most importantly they do a beautiful cut, and Cooper is in and out in 1 1/2 hrs.

First 2 times my Labradoodle was w ell groomed and taken care of. The next visits he was cut on his neck under his ear and it took several weeks for the scabbing to clear up. 4th visit the tip of his ear was cut off and his tail was completely shaved off. The explanation I was given each time was that he was matted. I brushed and combed him before his visit, and the place where he is less matted is his ears and under his ears.I was told before my first visit that before anything drastic is done that I would get a call, I did not get a call regarding his tail. Needless to say I am very upset with Alie and her explanation and no apology. To me I think that his injuries are a result of not paying attention to the grooming process while using scissors and shaver?
