I went yesterday to get 10 pounds of crab legs at 4:30 pm on a Sunday. The Seafood Department was Closed?! When I asked the 3 ladies who worked there who were sitting near the front door on the handicap scooters they told me they are short handed and the seafood person left early. I asked if one of them could weigh out 10 pounds of crab legs for me and was told no they were not allowed to go back there. Totally ridiculous.....I asked if anyone was there that could help me and was told NO. So Instead I left and went to Shoprite and got what I needed with no problem. ACME needs to do better! Being a local down here those answers were unacceptable. They were sitting doing absolutely nothing!! 3 of them! Tourist leave locals stay so getting this type of service makes me not want to go to this store again. So during the winter months I hope they don't lay you off!

This store is a bit of a train wreck. Prices are very high and very low on stock. New Jersey has some great peaches and tomatoes but, not here. The tomatoes (locally picked) are at least a week away from being close to ripe and the peaches were very mealy. Half the things I needed weren't even on the shelves. It's like there was a run on the store with no intention of restocking. The one bright spot - the bagels (which I'm sure aren't made there) were really fresh. They know they have the market pretty well cornered, on that part of the island, and aren't afraid to exploit it.

I placed a delivery order at this store and put in the wrong date for delivery. I called the store and spoke to Sue and she was so accommodating and helpful. She told me it wasn’t a problem at all and helped me have the date and time changed to the correct one. I so appreciate her awesome customer service!

Awesome seafood selection at this market! I order a big batch of snow crab legs and the friendly deli man offered to steam them for me. He seasoned them too! Great crab legs and awesome customer service.

While on vacation this is one of our favorite places for everyday groceries! Great selection of fruit, veggies, fresh bread and so much more ! Walking distance from where we stayed and it's not far from the beach as well.

Suddenly came down with a horrible headache and congestion. CVS was closed as they advertised on the web but it said that ACME was open until 11 p.m. Got there at 10:30 and some guy (I can only imagine he was the manager) yelled at me as soon as I got out of my car telling me they’re closed. I said they advertise as being open until 11. He said something back (not sure what his point was) but it is just so frustrating that when they post their hours as being open until a certain time but then they close whenever? I’m sorry but even if you don’t have any customers since 9, you never know who is gonna be in need of something and are depending that you will be open during the hours you advertised. It’s just good business practice.

Clean, organized and fully stocked. They definitely need more staff working the registers. The lines were long on Sunday morning with only 1 register open, besides the self checkout lanes.

So I worked for ACME last year during the summer and most of this year's as an overnight Bakery Clerk. My experience last year was amazing with the old store manager Eileen, just before management changed. Most of my coworkers have left this place because of that same reason; the communication is very poor, they replace employees that have been loyal to the store with nonexperienced newcomers because they're family (legit turning it into a family business), the bagels and such have cockroaches crawling all over them as so does the floor of the bakery station yet they haven't done anything to fix this since last year, everyone gossips about everyone so you have to watch your back even if you think they're sweethearts (that's if you consider working here which I don't recommend)- Point being that everything has gone down hill since management changed.Allegedly, a former employee

Great people at this location.I was impressed by the produce.On a personal note....I left my cell phone atvthe check Out and when I returned...it was waiting for me at customer service.Thank you Acme!Is this where the Coyote gets his road runner attack devices? I didn't see him in there. Maybe he has it delivered. Who knows?

Everything's 4.99 in here, which adds up very quickly at checkout. A tad expensive, and that was before the current inflation we're now experiencing.Still, a great supermarket..clean and well stocked.

Way overpriced. I get it's a tourist town, but still. Go to Aldi's in Rio Grande if you don't mind the trip. They have some great prices on a lot of items. Then you go back to ACME for anything not available there.

Wanted to comment on the excellent service and seafood I received at Acme this past week. Helen in the seafood department was just awesome and patiently worked with me as I placed a large seafood order for my family vacation. All was cooked to perfection and hot upon pick up. I will definitely be ordering seafood from here again!

Store was in a close proximity to where we were staying which was convenient. Prices were not much different then a regular grocery store, which is surprising for being in a tourist destination. Ample parking and plenty of selection to choose from.

Its hard to review it so low when most of the staff truly are impeccable people.. The past two times I've been here however one of their newest associates at customer service station is rude and very aggressive with the customers. He's always talking down to you and making you feel as though you're nothing more than a bother. Also certain items you just cannot purchase here because they've consistently been out of date or spoiled. The frozen section is either leaking onto the floor or simply not cold enough. The prices are a tad higher than even the other acme located in the crest! 😡I wish my review were more positive but this store seems to have hit a lower point as of late. Maybe after the summer rush things will be a little better? And hopefully that miserable guy at customer service will get his attitude sorted out!! 😞

Totally forgot that shore locations are ASTRONOMICALLY higher price per item then our local grocery store. This location was awfully crowded and they didn't have sufficient enough staff (probably COVID related) so the lines were very very long. Went in with a budget, ended up spending almost 2x as much with less than what we typically get quantity wise at home.

This smaller ACME is bright and clean. They have everything you need, fresh veggies, great meat, nice bakery and frozen food section. The employees are efficient and friendly. Prices are competitive.

This is a newer ACME in an older building and I’ve always had pleasant trips here. It can get quite busy during summer, so plan to go early in the morning or late at night. The architect/planner missed the opportunity to capture a beautiful view of the marshes, which is especially amazing at sunset. Being right on the wetlands, the streets here usually flood during storms—especially at high tide.

The selection of foods were there, check out was smooth, I didn't have to wait in line, I did go during the week and not on the weekend. The only aisle that had empty shelves were the paper section, so if your visiting bring some paper towels and TP with you.

In Philly and in this Wildwood store, I continue to be disappointed with Acme. This one is so overpacked with merchandise, almost, anywhere. When it's crowded (like today) you are continually by shoppers stopping, and food displays and bins everywhere. An unenjoyable shopping experience. Though the deli clerk and the check out clerk were lovely and, actually, said hello to me.

We visit acme EVERYDAY! ACME app is the best store/business app by far!!!! I mean others need to pay attention!! Real life until a business catches up with Acme on the app front I'm not downloading!!! My family's saving already in 2022 is 81 bucks I believe.

Why is there no form of dress code. I feel like people could walk in here naked if they wanted to. Just because we are at the beach does not mean you have to be in a bathing suit every where you go. I wish I could give less of a star. There are 10 to 13 year old girls walking around in bikinis and no cover ups. Is that not creepy? I specifically left acme bc it made both me and my boyfriend very uncomfortable.
