Always shop here for food and other stuff. They have good sales as long as you know how to find it with ads and price tags. It gets really crowded in the summer so go early in mornings. They got alot of fresh produce and big deli with alot of lunchmeats. It has self checkout as well in case of being hurry.

Soda is cheaper at a pizzeria, which is crazy. But if u buy 5 cases it's not bad. Who wants that much soda!? The staff is kinda helpful but they must make a huge salary with those prices, so I'd be happy working in an empty store too.

INSTACARTERS STAY AWAY.Until they get bags that cost less than $0.50 you won't be able to get bags. Plus if it's a larger order you are S.O.L. AT $3.69 a bag this place is not for me NOR IS IT Instacart-friendly.The store was dirty, the freezers/fridges were broken, store staff wasn't helpful at all.When I say that I asked someone to show me where I can find products. The customer service rep pointed and said "Over there" and I said, she said "At the end of the aisle by the beef section" no idea what over there meant or where the beef section was so I aimlessly ventured into the unfamiliar store she should have said. Oh let me find someone to help. ypu, or follow me. Instead, I never found what I needed and went over my shop time for Instacart.Speaking of Instacart. The aisles/shelves were all incorrectly marked by the store management. Making it much harder for an individual who's never been in the store before to find normal thingsThanks for doing the minimum. Here's a reward for that effort.Great job Acme. You've hired fools.

Last time getting meat from here, not only do they sell meats that are within one day of the sell by date, but also you’re lucky if you open a pack of chicken that doesnt smell rancid.

Ice cream from this store is always too soft because their freezers can’t keep up with customers opening the door to make a selection. Customers have to open the doors to see what is inside because the doors are sweating due to the humidity in the store. Management should have the air conditioning and refrigerator equipment serviced and or set the controls to correct this condition.

Well established local market with lots of bulk sale items. I didn't find ACME lacking compared against other well known supermarkets like ShopRite. My shopping bag was as much satisfying as the dollars I spent there.

Clean, well kept and well stocked store.Prices are definitely higher than where you see others, even with inflation.I wasn't aware that you had to purchase or bring your own bags beforehand.

Acme's prices are higher than other grocery stores but they sometimes have insane sales. It's a shore town so they get overwhelmed with out of towners at the oddest hours depending upon events. We wanted ice cream cones and all they had was one box (pictured) on a saturday night. We live here all summer and we are used to this. It's nothing new and has nothing to do with you know. If you dont like the prices then you have to travel off island to the other grocery store in Rio Grande.

I had a great experience at the deli. Planning a last minute picnic buffet for 27 family members age 2 to 84 while vacationing. Placed an order for fried chicken and pasta salad for later in the day. Everything was ready, chicken was hot and freshly made. Right on time and ready to carry out. Couple pounds of shrimp, veggies, meat and cheese platter, cake. Great variety. Huge success. Thanks to everyone involved.

This is a very convenient grocery store, and it allows you to stay on the islandThe parking lot was pretty full, but it was a Saturday afternoon in a beach town.The shelves were fully stocked, and I was able to find everything I needed for my trip. This will be my go to store when I come down again.

Super helpful and pleasant staff, great selection, great prices, top quality deli meats and bakery.We were longtime fans of ShopRite in Rio Grande, but the service and selection has really suffered the last few years.We ordered delivery for when we arrived. The driver arrived near the top of our reserved time and apologized for being late (she wasn't), was super nice.Today we went in to top up a few things and the deli experience was AMAZING! Staff super helpful, great selection all over and the quality is top notch!

It's a depressing and crowded place. I am lucky to work at a better grocery store. Sadly I live near this one. How can there be so much stuff but so little food. It's just all garbage. The produce section is awful. It is full of rowdy College kids all the time. I suggest going after 9pm for a little bit of peace. Around 5 and 6 the place is a madhouse. I know it is a problem with most grocery stores but this one really does only have 2 cashiers when the line is 20 people deep.

I don't like it because of the bad customer service, especially consumers of Latin American origin, the employees make racist comments among themselves, when a customer who does not understand english, those who work as cashiers do not greet the Hispanic consumer, if you pay cash they dial With the markers the money to know if they are not false and if they are white consumers they do not do the same, the older employees their treatment is rough and they are not friendly. They need a change and good training those attitudes affect a business financially.

For the size of this acme, the layout is easy to navigate. Most items that you need are in stock thanks to the crews that work here. If its not they are able to check and make suggestions for something comparable for you to enjoy.The staff is friendly even in the chaotic summer months. This is a good spot if you need something quick.

My local food store, most of the year it is bright and clean, the staff is pleasant and helpful. This store is located in a seasonal tourist area so it's avoided by many locals in the summer. As this is an island location, it is a relatively small Acme, so selection and stock are sometimes limited. In the summer, it's better to shop off shore.

The checkout boy was very nice The store is just perfect It has everything shelves are stacked all the time food is fresh. My condo is in Seapoint Village and I go to acme only because they have everything I need and it's close. Wonderful people work there they're very helpful and nice.

They didn't have a lot and most of all employees weren't very friendly. Two of the cashiers were laughing and talking why I was being rung up also blocking the lane. Very rude!!

We were on vacation and needed butter (it's crazy what one forgets sometimes). This Acme was easy to get to, had plenty of parking (!), and was just what we anticipated we would find. Some of the shelves were a bit understocked (our search had grown beyond just the butter), but this is understandable considering that it is the first week of August at the beach! Recommended.
