I am not sure why this store only gets 3.5 .. I have had excellent experiences. The pharmacist is great. Knowledgeable and helpful. Staff as well. Guess you can't please everyone.

I got the email and text my prescription was ready for pick up but got there and was told I had nothing there. I informed the gentleman I really needed it and he said they would refill it it would take 10 to 15 minutes went back and a lady said she was the only one there and would call or text me when ready. I had to go without my medicine and still waiting for my prescription. I'll probably change pharmacy and not recommend this one

Do not like this store or pharmacy from day 1 -If you ask the pharmacist a question he gets an attitude -my elderly neighbor went to get a flu shot after calling them previously a few days earlier and was told she didn’t need an appt.but when I got her there with her walker because she has difficulty with walking -leg problems the two women at the counter said she needed an appt.and she said that a gentleman said she didnt need an appt.for a flu shot but was told on arrival by the Indian woman at that counter and the young girl with the attitude that -there’s no man back here—“Do you see a man back here” ? Was their answer -Totally disgusted with this store -will return to the TR store where employees are civilized

The pharmacy is closed and I need my medication and there is no way for me to get it. They're already filled my prescription I got to automatic notice and yet I can't pick it up nor transfer it or get the doctor to send a new one because that this Walgreens has already build my insurance. I'm happy to say that Walgreens had their Pharmacy open today so I was able to give my medication I guess I have to feel bad that they can't find pharmacists anymore. Otherwise there are very good store.

Normally Walgreens pharmacy is wonderful. Today. I needed to speak with someone in the pharmacy I started calling at I would say 10 o’clock in the morning got a recording that said I there were three people before me from a machine called a ten still on the phone for 20 minutes nothing called at noon the same recording nothing called it to the same recording nothing called at 3:30 same recording meanwhile I have been running to doctors all day long I finally decided to get in my car with the phone still ringing at the Walgreens at 530 Lacey Rd. waiting went back to the pharmacist there was one person sitting in the chair one girl by the counter and The phone was ringing another person behind the counter picked it up and slammed it down I was on the phone no one answered the phone for the entire day at the counter the pharmacy tech behind the counter a young girl with dark hair I wish I could’ve grabbed a manager I told her I said I’ve been on the phone all day she got snippy and said we are very busy with customers there was one other person in the store she was nasty she was rude and she was insolent I tried my best and I kept my cool but she should be addressed she’s not customer service not in the pharmacy where most of her customers are of the older gender they are sick and you’re irritated she’s lucky she got me she must be spoken to she’s a younger women if she had a bad day to bad so did I and I still was civil. the manager at that store I will get a phone call

Usually good service. But this time in there the line was down passed the registers. The manager came up for a price check and should've helped out but she didn't. Only 2 registers were open. Normally that would be enough, but if something out of the ordinary comes up it would be nice for everyone to pitch in. I'll update this review. I do go there a few times a week.This is an update. I went in on another day and a new manager was there. The line started to back up and she jumped on the register and stayed until the line was down, good job and thanks. 5 star.

I went into this store for an at home Covid test. They had them behind the register and put it right into the bag, I get home and the seal is broken on the box and no test inside. I go back with the receipt and speak with the manager Maureen and am told they don’t take them back and that I should’ve checked the seal before paying for it. I was also told they didn’t even have any that day yet they sold me one an hour before and I had the receipt. How does Walgreens allow their employees to sell opened Covid tests and then provide HORRIBLE customer service?

Absolutely disgusting display of opinionated jerks that think they are doctors because they wear white coats! They discriminate against people based on their medications and refuse to fill prescriptions when the insurance approves them because it's 'their policy'.. Medication is to be filled when the insurance approves it, in any language, any state, anywhere! We are now working with cooperate to ensure everyone who has been incompetent and displayed utter disrespect will reap what they have sown! You should be able to feel safe going to get something to feel better, but instead these people make you feel criminal! Disgraceful but I assure you, this WILL be handled so no one else has to go through this too!

Stay away, I had a defective libre sensor that I picked up in early afternoon. I live in whiting and was back at store in less than 30 minutes letting pharmacist know was defective and needed exchange. I explained I have uncontrolled diabetes and need sensor. He told me could not help and to contact contact manufacturer "I am not going to take hit". I explained this was medical condition that required monitor. He was indifferent. When I told him I wanted to speak to superviser he reached out to libre and was able to make exchange. It is clear that this pharmacist was more interested in profit than health. I told him as I was leaving if I had not held my ground and he was dealing with an elderly patient with limited ability to defend themselves a very different result may lead to a bad end.

My son is a parapalegic. He had 5 surgeries in the past 6 months. When his regular pharmacy did not have enough pain meds to fill script my husband went to Walgreens. The pharmacist was very rude. He called my son an abuser and would not even let us explain his condition. Don't go there. I am reporting him to mgt.

iwas in your whiting store earlier today when i noticd at the next cashier the customer had a small dog with her. how can you allow animals into a pharmacy where being sanitary is so important. you allow people to carry pets in a store, the pet is licking there hands and them the owner picks up an item from a shelf and than return it to the shelf.now im suppose to by a product from your store take it home to my family and put in my medicine chest with confidence that this product is clean and safe for our use. i think not. than the assistant manager would not give me a full refund for my purchase as i asked.#15649 whiting nj

Very disappointed. Needed an antibiotic but out of stock. Said they would order and have it next day. Next day still did not come in. Asked if they could get it at another location of walgreens and they said we would have to do that! Called Cvs and they had in stock so cvs had it transferred.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THE STAFF AT THIS LOCATION HAS ALWAYS BEEN VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL ESPECIALLY PATRICIA AT THE PHARMACY .MY HUSBAND WALKED INTO THE METAL SIGN WHERE YOU ENTER TO THE COUNTER TO PICK UP HIS PRESCRIPTIONS AND HE CUT HIS ARM AND THATS WHEN PATRICIA CAME OUT FROM BEHIND THE COUNTER TO ATTEND TO HIM.
