I love the fried chicken here but I just got some recently and I’m afraid it may have changed. Except for the last time I bought it (this week) it used to be super crispy and airy and the chicken was so juicy and delicious. However this last time the fried chicken was totally different, the batter was different & not half as juicy and the crispy outside was not one third as crispy as the previous recipe. Please tell me, you’ll get the old fried chicken recipe back soon??!

Went in as a first time customer in area. Wasn’t sure if I had a customer card so I went to Customer Service. The woman running the booth was taking to an employee and finished turned her back to me wrote something down and walked out of the booth. I asked if she could help me and her response was “in a few minutes” and walked away, very Rude and not good Customer Service. I walked away too with the few things I had in my cart and left. I will not be returning. Not one employee said hello everyone in that store looks miserable.

Shelves are always empty, all the sale stuff is not displayed Only shows up after the sale time ?? 90% of fruits and vegetables goes bad and meat too ... U need to check on them color and smell even the date still fine !!

Michelle in the bakery is the absolute best. She is so friendly, helpful and accommodating. She is always so happy and has a smile on her face. She is an absolute delight and her cakes are awesome! She always goes above and beyond. Thank you for all the amazing cakes and cupcakes through the years.

Shelves are always empty, nobody stocks, all the sale stuff is gone on Tuesday EVERY WEEK!! I buy bagged salad and it turns brown way before the expiration dates, this does not happen when I buy at other stores... are you freezing it or letting it get warm before you stock it? Numerous times I've had to throw the bags of lettuce away before expiration date because I threw away the receipt, at $4 a bag that's really bad. I don't get it. Also, can you stock some Sprite zero? Always out of Sprite zero, I have been traveling to a different super market, only shopping here for quick trips because you are always out of items I want.

I have known this store since 2013 when I used to deliver goods to its warehouse in Massachusetts. We find fresh fruit and vegetables in this store.

Good enough to pick up what you need when you needed. Deli dept is so much better and faster than other supermarkets in the area. I usually make a good time in and out and not much time is wasted at all.

Better stocked and cleaner than some other local stores. A few unique items. A little pricey overall but with some good bargains. Friendly service at checkout. The digital coupons usually require purchase of multiple items and we don't usually need two boxes of the same cereal (for example) but every once in a while there's a worthwhile savings opportunity.

Much smaller than others but more helpful and friendlier than others. A much faster option than the bigger stores. Fruit and veggies are fresh. They run out of things like pet food and could be quicker in restocking.

This is the worse supermarket I have shopped in during my life time. And I’m 68 years old. This is regarding employee attitudes only . I have just moved to the area. And I have been shopping here for about four months. So far I had to report two employees. This is because of their unhelpful and rude behavior. And today another one. Who made a mistake when I ordered something. I brought it to the employee attention so I could just have it corrected. And the employee talked out loud in front of other customers putting the blame on me and criticizing me. A customer standing next to me looked at me in disbelief.Being unhelpful does not bother me as much as rude disrespectful behavior. I’m not saying all the employees at this location are like that. A few I have spoken to are very nice. But I also have witnessed other customers asking some employees questions. And they are treated like they are being a bother.The previous supermarket I shopped for thirteen years in NJ where I have previously lived. I never had an issue there. Unfortunately it’s close to two hours each way.Well I guess I might need to look for another place to shop. Not much choice in this area.

The store is always clean, neat and well stocked. They can use more cashiers, but everywhere seems to be short staffed these days. Their produce and meat dept. have fresh offerings all the time. There's plenty of parking and the staff that is there are friendly and helpful.

Very rude cashier! She kept pushing her political views at me. I told her I heard enough and asked her to stop. But, she kept on pushing her political views in an angry and loud tone.I won't be shopping here anymore.Fruits and vegetables are always fresh and great tasting. Good prices on canned goods. The deli section has a large variety of lunch meats, cheese, and rotisserie chicken.And, yes, she still works at Stop n Shop.

It's a nice clean store but I am absolutely fed up with the insane rising costs of all food and liquids 100 bucks. Barely buys a weeks worth if food for 1 person anymore and forget it if you need to strictly eat heakth foods. That's about 100 a day. It's. So sad. And infuriating

Is this location going out of business? No matter what time of day you go the shelves are low on stock or empty and forget about getting meat. There is slim pickings and what is there is over priced. And there is never a butcher around to help. If you work 2 jobs and can only go late at night or the last day of the sale this is NOT THE PLACE TO SHOP.

I stop at the nearest grocery store wherever I find myself. I go to Whiting once every few months. I have never had a problem at this, or any Stop n Shop. Grocery shopping is inherently not enjoyable, especially when I check out. But I'm just glad I CAN pay for my items; a lot of people can't, and the rest of them complain, but never do anything about it.

Normally I'm very happy when I'm shopping there. I usually find what I need and the prices are reasonable. Even on the busiest grocery holidays i am quickly in and out. However, lines to check out wrapping to the doors in my most recent trip is unacceptable, especially when I see employees standing around not helping the one cashier up front.

Store was well stocked. It was clean and well lit. The staff was friendly. It has a large parking lot and is located on a major roadway. There is a good amount of Handicapped Parking available.

I did give the store 4 stars but I unfortunately have to change the stars to only 2. I went to the deli late in the afternoon on 11/16/23 and ordered a 1/4 pound of chicken breast and a 1/4 pound of land o lakes cheese. I saw the deli clerk slicing and slicing and I said I wanted a 1/4 pound. If looks could kill I would have been dead. He gave me such an annoyed face and said you said a pound. I said no I didn’t, I’ve never ever gotten a pound at the deli in my life. He took off the slices and made sure I saw him throw them in he garbage. Then I got the cheese. I found out his name was Jeff. First of all it was Boars head American cheese and not land o lakes, the cheese was sliced so awful that I couldn’t even get a full slice. I am at stop and shop every week and every day as I am a shopper for the elderly who cannot do it themselves. I have decided that I will drive the extra 10 minutes and try shop rite. I am/was a faithful customer who gave you a lot of business. Well Jeff… because of your attitude towards me and giving me mutilated cheese and the wrong brand, you and only you are the reason I will shop at the shop rite! Be nice Jeff, I as a customer didn’t deserve your nasty attitude!

If I could place negative stars, I would. The prices are outrageous. The corporate office should be ashamed for taking advantage of the senior citizens and Veteran's, as well as the working person.Thankful I am fortunate that I can drive to another store!The store could also be cleaned thoroughly.
