Was in there the other night as I was looking for things somebody was talking to me through the isles, where they were, which was very nice and much appreciated. Then I bought all of my items up to the cashier. Her name was Jewell she was one of the nicest people I have ever encountered in that store. She even gave me a five dollar coupon to use for my purchases way to go. You should double her salary she makes me want to come in again.

Be ware of correct change being given back...I walked in bought 5 dollars in items with a 10 dollar bill and was supposed to get 4 dollars and 80 cent back that's what the receipt said ..lady gave me 55 cent and told me have A nice day then closed the register for the evening I had to go to the manager to get my extra quarter back. It's petty but in the time of inflation impact is heavy on a minimum wage customer. When I told the manager he got angry and had some sarcastic remark...guess what pal u just lost my business...I made sure I told him teach his workers how to count..

I would Love to be able to give this store a higher rating especially with the new renovations, lots of space to maneuver and tons of additional products. However the problem with this store is the manager Steve. Sorry Steve over the past few years living in the area and shopping here, I've witnessed poor management, a lack of desire to assist the customer and down right lie to my face.Recently I went in a few elderly people who receive OTC benefits, a few Insurance companies have partnered with Dollar General so people can shop for goods. Now Steve lied right to my face about NOT taking United Healthcare and that his New Computer system was not set up to accept United Healthcare only some other company he stated. He continued to tell me that the new and smaller Dollar General up the road had the old system so they can probably do it but he wasn't sure. Well Steve I found out the facts are Your New System absolutely accepts United Healthcare and it's a press of 1 button since you scan the card, the other company you suggested uses a Visa card. Now Steve no offense but for every customer you are turning away from Your store you just lost hundreds if not thousands of dollars per day for your company. The day I walked in you turned away $500-$600, so I took everyone to Stop and Shop where they accept the OTC cards as well. You as a manger if what you had said was true, would have contacted the nearest Dollar General to ask their manager if the system was in tact at their location. Instead you looked at former computer programmer and lied to my face. So I sought the truth because I like Dollar General and they shouldn't lose business because Steve just doesn't care about the company or the customers. I've worked retail in the past, I've managed, I've worked a lot of different positions, but here's 1 thing I learned when you work do the best at your job, you want something better then find it but don't Slack and give excuses. Your position Steve is Sales, so learn to sell. If a customer asks for something You carry, walk them to the aisle and put it in their hand or cart. 9 times out of 10 they will buy the product and possibly more.Now to the rest of the staff there, We appreciate you and hope to see more smiles, hopefully corporate replaces Steve with a more team oriented manager because the renovations are Amazing and more people should return to have been turned away.

I have never seen it met more miserable people then these dollar generals out here the other one isn’t as bad but this place must only hire people with no personality don’t say hello don’t say have a nice day don’t smile and while your shopping you can hear then complaining about the customers and there jobs most my experience with this chain has been terrible customer service. I know people who have applied and been overlooked and what I see they got overlooked for is a shame. Don’t hire people that don’t want to be there and don’t know how to be approachable.

The new renovations are awesome! Very easy to get in and get out fast, and many items you wouldn’t normally find at a dollar general are here!

I had a bad experience at that placeI am a Registered nurse living in a senior community. The woman by the name of Meghan was very arrogant disrespectful because I didn’t know how to download coupon on the app. What a disgraceKept yelling that she is the manager no patience for senior abuse of power. She needs to learn how to talk to customerEven difficulty customer yelling in front of other customers. I will never go back thereShe needs management training instead ofAbuse of power and threats to customersI gave 1 star but she deserves zero starWhat ashamed. You will looseof customers . I will never go back there and I will make sure I tell my fellow nurses to stay away from that storeIt can be viewed as elderly abuse

I can find the most unusual and unique items at those type of stores. They sometimes have a lot of those unusual items or just one of a kind so, if shop at another store with the same name. You might just find it. Store like are these are really bargains, not because of the name One. They are not cheap as some may think, they are there for each and everyone's fancy besides the sales representatives are awesome and that is a plus.

Good store for things that you need in hurry. Lines are sometimes slow when 1 register is only open. We're there at least once a week. Nice employees who look over worked on some visits. I don't like the fact that they're open on Thanksgiving. That's why I changed from 4 stars to 3.

Very convenient and low prices. You can't walk in some areas because there is too much merchandise packed in there. You have to walk around the crowded clothing section and then go up a different aisle to get in line to pay. It is very challenging to look at the clothes especially if you have a cart. People get gridlocked trying to move around the store.

It is quite unorganized. Also, cluttered​. Not enough cashiers!Items not marked. Registers are out of date and always messing up. Things are out of stock.Bathrooms are dirty. Always changing employees! Items to high to reach. This store needs a complete overhaul for better business! When it first opened, it was much better!

Great Prices, the shoes aren't that great but they have a very decent selection of clothes. They have good sales every week, they got a little bit if everything in their stores. Would highly recommend stopping in and seeing their prices and variety of different things they have.

The store manager was very pleasant and so was the cashier, however they were very busy and had no one else to help them. I believe they should have more help and would give the ladies a 5 on their service and patience cause we bought lots of items. They do have great sales.

Store is always a mess, u-boats are constantly blocking aisles, and they never know how to properly manage lines in the front. The shelves were disorganized and having another customer constantly bump into you because there is no room makes shopping a nuisance.

Other than the convenience of having the store nearby, not much to write home about. It's a very busy store because of the location. Very slow checkout most of the time due to understaffing. Overcrowded floorplan. Store has a dirty look. I prefer to drive further to the Lakehurst location when possible.

Store is very cluttered and hard to navigate safely with covid guidelines. Merchandise and boxes block aisles, entrance is tight, shelves disheveled. Cashier was pleasant. Stopped here as was convienent, but not as tidy or nice as other DG's. Prices are good.

It is not a dollar store, it is a general store, I did like that it is close to my new home, and it has everything you need in a pinch it reminds me of a 5 and 10 store when I was much younger. If they could fix up the. Gardens in the front it would have more curb appeal. The employees were very friendly I was very happy to feel welcomed

Store is always a mess and the worst staff even after an attempt to lighten mood saying that I can see you are understaffed the attitude given got worse and when I came back because I needed to return or exchange something the lady actually said do you really need to do this now and skawffed at me while walking away it took more than 5 minutes and they were both muttering under their breath! Avoid this location if possible!! Prices aren't even better(on most items)

I could not make it without $ General. Barely existing on SSDI. Only get food from pantry's. My household needs and snacks and other things I can only get here. Most pricing is great for what I need. They have long hours and since I live in a small town it's most convenient.

Terrible waiting in line with seven people and one register. I literally left about 60$ worth of merchandise and left the line. Sorry but there is absolutely no excuse fir this, especially in the middle of a pandemic. Never going back to this incompetent store.

Dirty, untidy narrow aisles, boxes on the floor and carts blocking areas with shipment boxes. Although convenient location/times, I had to walk around the store to find someone to ring me up. Extremely long lines during the day with usually one cashier.

Dollar General is an awesome store. I'm on disability and living on a fixed income is hard. Many times this store made it possible to afford the things I needed to feed myself and have living essentials for my condo. It's hard to be humble, but hunger can be a great motivator. The one thing I cannot help but wonder about is this.If Dollar General can sell for these prices then why not the other stores? I guess greed is a great motivator too?

I like Dollar General, just not this one. It's a smaller store and cluttered. Good for a quick stop for one item, but wondering around this store made me feel claustrophobic. Workers are pleasant and friendly.

This store is dirty, shipments all over the place, Tina should be put in the back not dealing with customers very rude. Dollar General you could do better hiring a better staff. I bet your sale would go up too.

Parking lot is just flithy. Staff, while on floor could be a bit friendlier. Always seems to be a mess, with long lines. If prices weren't so good for somethings, yea I would go elsewhere.

They had clearance section as u enter the shop. It said 25% off for certain dots. And others had different colors..It also stated additional 50% off from 0ct 18 -20 for clearance items.? So i picked up 2 decorated Boxes on the 18th of Oct. $2.00 each orginal price.When i got to register, register did not ring up the clearance price. But regular price.Soo i told the Cashier, it was on clearance rack..It had red dot. So the lady stated she will only give 25% off. She said the 50% did not apply to it. Well the way i see it, it stated on the 18th it should have gotten 50% off. But she said no. So i told her she can keep it..And i got my $4.00 refund.

Larger Dollar General. Store is clean and organized. Nicelt stocked items and good values. Usually only 1 cashier on, so checkout takes quite awhile.

Terrible store. The employees are pleasant for the most part. The store just never has enough staff.you can tell from the condition of the store and the fact that there is always a line when you go in and only ever one register open.

I don't shop at Dollar General regularly, but once a year I go there when packaging boxes for Operation Christmas Child, sponsored by Samaritan's Purse, to purchase gifts that are to sent to children around the world telling & showing them that Jesus whose Birth is celebrated on Christmas loves them!

This is a great dollar general store. Really nice, friendly staff, and in a really cute location. Of course, it helps that I basically have a HUGE CRUSH on one of the managers, a sweet, sexy brunette named Sammi! :)
