I saw this place when heading home and it had just what I needed. The prices are good for a smaller chain store and cheaper than driving around to all the big box locations. They had what I needed and they are very friendly and personable. One on one service with attention to detail. Sometimes smaller is better. I would definitely go here over and over as needed. It's in a little shopping center towards the back. It has to be locals favorite for a quick trip. I'm a happy camper.

Been visiting on and off for 14 years. Always pleasant and helpful. With all my many questions, they are patient and are ready to help me.I don't believe the review about them screaming politics and abusing an 80 year old. That's just not them.By the way, bird seeds are one of the items I purchase there.

Nice small hardware store. They have a small selection so I recommend calling ahead of time if you are looking for something specific. The prices are slightly more but its a small local shop so i dont mind it. Support small shops. The staff are friendly and helpful.

It is disgusting the way the staff and the owner of this store treated my elderly aunt. She is an American citizen and was screamed at and was refused service because of where she was born. The owner of this store should be truly ashamed of themselves and it makes me sick to hear that someone would talk to an elderly woman like that. They should be ashamed of their behavior and TrueValue corporate will definitely hear about this.

Bob's Hardware is a great place to get things you need I love the personal touch you get from the woman & the man that runs the store sure it's a little more but the service is great they fixed 4 lamps sockets & wires that my father in law had but they never worked on long Island but for 120.00 & he was so happy that his lamps were now fixed this is why I like places like this & not Home Depot & Lowes

Great local hardware has a good supply of common hardware and home supplies including plumbing & electrical supplies, gardening, paint supplies, nuts & bolts of all types, and some kitchen supplies. I haven't named everything. I like check here before travelling to the big stores.

I am absolutely disgusted by the way the staff treated my family member who is 80 year old lady from a neighborhood retirement community! She stopped by the store to see if they are having bird food sale any time soon and got yelled by I believe the owner that she will NEVER NEVER EVER sell her anything because her president started the war in Ukraine???!!! What kinda nonsense is it? What president is she referring to? What is wrong with people? My relative is American citizen for almost 40 years, hard working sweet lady who loves wildlife and all she wanted to buy a bird food! I am sick to my stomach by the actions of the store staff! Shame on you!

This is a family owned and run place, but they either have or can order anything you want. I've NEVER been disappointed! They always have good advice too. I never go anywhere else. Hate those big box stores! Sue and her sons have them all beat!

Bob's hardware store is a five minute walk from my house. It's been my go to place for all kinds of odds and ends over the years. I'm not talking about pricing because they are not always the most inexpensive, but, given the traffic situation these days, as well as, gas prices, I will take convenience anytime over a stressful drive to the big chain stores followed by packed parking lots and hordes of people!Did I mention that Bob's has an unbelievable assortment of nearly everything I have ever needed to fix, replace or tear out.Thanks, Bob's for always being there for Miss Ingrid, and now me, I'm David.

Good convenient hardware store. Earlier today I needed a tube of caulking and Bob's had it. Also picked up some bird seed. I like the True Value brand of bird seed and so do the birds and that's what truly matters.

For a small store they are well stocked with the usual hardware and particular needs of the surrounding community! Fair pricing and excellent customer service that you won't find in a big box store! Check them out, support and buy local!

I went to Bob's to get a copy of my apt key because the apt key is an unusual key blank. Two problems:. One issue is Bob's is listed as Manchester, but is really in Whiting. It is difficult to get there by day and don't attempt it at night. Number two issue is that the keys they made for me didn't fit!!! Everyone was friendly, but it was a wasted trip.

I have been to this store a few times since I moved here in June. They are limited in what they supply. I went for a normally stocked item in hardware stores for a fitting for my gas line. This is the third time I wen t in for something and they do not carry the item I have gone to hardware stores up north where you can find just about anything.

Bob's Hardware is my neighborhood hardware store. The staff is friendly and helpful. One of the last items I had obtained was a duplicate key made. The key worked great and no problems using it.

Knowledgeable people, you don't have to explain what the item is or does 2 or 3 times. They know right where it is. The only bad thing is...you have to spend $5.00 or more to use your Bank Card or Credit Card. If you just run in to get something quick , you may have to spend money on something you don't need to make the minimum.

Nice little family run store, only hardware store around. They don't have a huge selection, but its only a little neighbors store that beats having to drive to Lowe's. Nice friendly workers.

Who ever heard of a hardware store keeping bankers hours. Closed at 4:00PM when most people work till 5:00PM. Every day of the week. Really?

way too expensive ... this is why all the smaller mom n pop owned ones go under cause they charge so much and can get it cheaper in the bigger chains which i dont like supporting ...i would rather support the personal owned ones for sure but they neex to lower prices or they will wind up going under and i would hate to see that

The selection of products available at this store is actually pretty good and fair priced for the convenient location of the Crestwood Villages.I just wish the owner was a little more pleasant.
