I love coming here for my pet needs. It is a small-town, locally owned store, where I feel like the people working there know me and my pets personally.They've made great recommendations on foods, calming aids, etc.; offered a sympathetic ear when I've had bad news about one of our pets at home; and have always made me feel valued as a customer.100% recommend.

The proprietors of Westwood Pets are friendly, knowledgeable, and trustworthy. They have recommended good foods for my dogs, training treats, and other items including dog collars. Patrick is the best groomer my Miniature Poodle and a German Shepherd Dog have had. Everyone there is a “dog whisperer.” As another reviewer indicated, with whom I agree, they have continually made me feel like a valued customer.

Well-acted for animals and advice and support. Birds, fish, Guinea pigs. Don't buy live animals from the chains, these are much healthier. My cockatiel is 10 now, from here and doing fine. Great petsitting services.

This store is always clean and well stocked. The employees are SO friendly and knowledgeable. I really admire Susan and her knowledge/passion for lizards, like me! Gerzde even breeds her own geckos! Everyone here is so great and I wish I lived closer so I could come by all the time! Their tortoise, Soupy, and dog, Ayla are great reasons to stop in as well :)

The people at Westwood Pets are the friendliest you will encounter in any retail environment. In today's environment of big-box stores and online shopping, they've thrived because of personal service, good advice and attention to detail. I think customers go there because the staff is so helpful. They could teach the big corporate retailers a lesson on what it takes to operate a successful business. When you visit, don't forget to check out the big tortoise!

I don't know how else to put it, this place is amazing. The employees are knowledgeable, the selection of products is great, and the animals they carry are all in good health. I have shopped here for several years and they have never failed to help me find what I was looking for. If nothing else check this place out. You'll get to see their friendly, and quite large, resident tortoise!

This little shop is simply wonderful. The owner is always friendly and helpful and clearly loves pEts and wants to make her customers feel welcome and appreciated. And she accomplishes this very well. The store manages to fit All of my pet needs into one delightfully cozy place. There's a feeling of small town a local business that is wonderful. I can tell this business cares about animals . There's plenty of bigger stores that are part of large chains in the area. But I would rather take my business to Westwood pEts. Both because I prefer to support local businesses, and because I prefer to support people that I know care about.my pEts.Plus, they have a beautiful tortoise that belongs to the owner. Staff was EXTREMELY helpful and always make sure that you are getting the right thing for your pet. I also love that they promote rescue groups for animals. You can also get your dog groomed there, which I learned talking to a friendly customer. Will be back!!Thank you ladies for helping me with my recently rescued pitbull. She loves those homemade treats : )

My new go to pet shop...they have everything and their prices are sooo reasonable. The staff is so helpful and knowlegable. And they even sell pets. I just aquired 2 parrots and ive been getti g all my stuff there now. They even clip nails and beaks. My grandaughter loved Soupy the tortoise...i am happy to support this small business.
