Do not use this pharmacy. There is something wrong with them. Very negative people- they all look unhappy to be there. Rude, inconsiderate, careless, they do not care if you live or die. I’ve have had multiple issues with the way they process meds, but it hit the fan when they refused to fill emergency Covid medication that was called in at 8:20pm bc they close at 9pm. They wouldn’t even process it so that I can transfer to another CVS. I had to call the doctor on call- a difficult feat, so that she could resend it. We begged them too, it’s for a medically fragile immunocompromised patient- they told us to come in the morning or call the doctor (at 9pm?). Cedar Grove location was able to fill it immediately after calling the doctor on call. I’m slowly going to transfer all my meds there bc the technicians and pharmacists there actually smile?? It’s further from my house but it’s worth not constantly feeling like your illness is an inconvenience to their life.

Certain pharmacy staff need to be more mindful of privacy practices. When I went to pick up a prescription this afternoon, the pharmacist on duty, Benjamin, said to me, rather loudly, “ARE YOU STILL ON (name of SSRI)?” to alert me of a possible interaction between the medications. I realize he was doing his due diligence to inform me, but he needs to be more aware of customers’ privacy because I have no doubt that other people heard him. However, Okendell the pharmacy tech (?) who rang me up was fabulous and worked very well under pressure (long line on a Sunday, less than an hour before the pharmacy closed)!

Don't understand this store ever since opening they've had severe inventory problems. I've brought this up with the store manager on multiple occasions but they always tell me the same B.S that it's up to corporate. Which i never understood as how does "corporate" know exactly what this location needs on a weekly basis. Even on beverages they can't keep track and are frequently short on water bottles which i assume move more than any other product. The complaints don't stop there as on more than one occasion I've bought expired products, most recently a gallon of milk two weeks past on expiration, i brought this up with the manager and still the problem continued.Front end service is good as expected from CVS and the cashiers are always pleasant but they really need to sort out inventory issues and rotate stock properly as a gallon of milk two weeks past expiration had slipped past is totally unacceptable.

I had a covid booster done there recently. A week later I'm still deathly ill. The girl used no alchohol prep, I received no receipt, I wasn't asked to sit for awhile. She just jabbed and said I could go.Ive started a Mal practice suit against them. If you value your life, DONT go there for a vaccine !! That store should be shut down . It's a danger to the community.

It's worth it to drive to another CVS. Waited almost 40 minutes in the drive through to pick up a prescription. Save yourself the time and more so stress.

The absolute WORST customer service. My medication was out of stock, then I was told it was ready to pick up. When I went to pick it up, they spent about 20 minutes looking through their ridiculously disorganized system of storing prescriptions and then told me it was out of stock and would be in the next day. The website still says it's ready for pickup. I'd rather spend 8 years in college learning how to become a pharmacist and then learn how to compound my own medications than have to spend another second in this store.

Pharmacy staff unreliable and incompetent. The staff member advised me that my prescription would be filled by Tuesday when I came to pick up my RX on Saturday. I come back and they now tell me it’s coming in on Thursday.Insult to injury, I was in the pharmacy drive thru line and I had my toddler sleeping in the back. I asked if they could help me by getting a few Covid tests for purchase. She said no I have to come inside. Anyone that’s had to drive around to have a baby sleep knows the struggle.

Severely understaffed. Usually an absurd wait for anything. Prepare to never be able to talk to a person on the phone.Don't trust the dates the automated system provides. If a drug is unavailable or on back order it won't notify you. It will provide a date only to arbitrarily push that date when it's still out of stock. This is a big issue if you are relying on the medication being provided on the date they first provided.

I really don’t want to waste anymore of my life because of this store so I won’t go into too much painstaking detail but I had moved back to the area a month ago and figured this CVS location would be the best with the many options nearby especially based on location and the fact it had a drive through. I called first to transfer my prescription and was on hold for 40 minutes trying to speak to someone. After I had come to handle my prescription in person it took another 30 minutes in store and there were several people working behind the counter and barely anyone on line. I never heard the phone ring once. I asked one employee about it and said they’re busy they answer when they can…. They must have disconnected the phones. Completely unacceptable, this isn’t a nail salon, you’re dealing with meds that people need!! They should be shut down. Went a 2nd time same issue, transferred to another CVS, not dealing with this BS anymore.

Unprofessional and terrible service.I waited 40 minutes to find out our insurance wasn’t appropriately applied to the prescription I was picking up for my infant son, so I was told to step to the side and the pharmacist would get it taken care of. He got it taken care of, but then told me they still had to mix the medication and I should get back in the line and wait for it. The line was now double the size so no, I was not going to get in line and wait for it. I expressed this and the pharmacist said “well you see we are short staffed.” I get that and I empathize, but there’s no excuse for making me wait TWICE for what would have been over an hour for a medication that was “ready.” No common courtesy, staff was rude, and if you ever want to follow up on something via phone you’ll never get off hold.I will never be going back to this pharmacy- one too many poor experiences.

If your prescription is a matter or life or death, you will die and these folks won’t care in the least bit. Every time I try to fill a prescription for either myself, my wife or my infant child, I always have problems. One prescription for my infant was filled early in the morning. I called in the afternoon to verify they received it and wanted to gage when it will be ready (my child needed the medication asap). They responded by saying they didn’t have the medication to fill the prescription and we should have our dr call it in at another location. When I asked if they planned on notifying myself or my doctor, they simply brushed it off and said “no” as if it wasn’t their problem. Another recent experience where I tried to call (in fear the same thing occurred) I sat on hold for over 2 hours. 2.hours. Never got through. I’ve never been engaged with more incompetent individuals who simply did not care about the people in need of medication. I would award them no stars (if possible) and may god have mercy on their souls.

Horrible service. Since the new pharmacist took over, it's a mess. Long lines both inside and outside and a complete mess. They can't find prescriptions, some of which are on the floor. I keep going to the Store Managers and get the same line "We know, we hear it from other customers but there is nothing that we can do". I called corporate several times and never heard back from anyone. Horrible. I am switching to Walgreens. What a shame. CVS used to be great. It's so convenient, but since they don't care about their customers, I can no longer give them my business. When I got the pharmacist on the phone tonight and told him about the concerns and frustration that me and other customers have with this location, he sarcastically said "thank you for the feedback mam". Well thank you for helping me make my decision to leave CVS.

The store has always been clean and the staff seem friendly. It seems that the pharmacy has improved. I appreciate that they are open until 9pm

Love the convenience of the drive through but is it so incredibly difficult to put a label on a bottle?!? The practice of attaching prescription labels so they hang off the bottle is so inconvenient for the consumer, they do not fit in a cabinet, drawer, etc. and I end up yanking them off…so I never know if I have any refills! Take the extra two seconds and attach the labels!!

Poorly operated location. Delays is the name of the game. Want to use the drive through? Plan to wait at least 30 minutes. Want to pick up your medication inside? Plan to wait 30 minutes. Have a medication that is regularly available everywhere else? Not here. Plan to wait days for them to get it in order. Need to call and talk to a pharmacist? Be ready to wait 30 minutes on hold, and randomly have your call hung up on. I cannot recommend not to use this CVS strongly enough. It’s a horribly run location, that does not deserve any business. Maybe if they lose all their customers, they may consider fixing things

The pharmacy is THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!! They call you and tell you your prescription is ready when it isn't. Their break is at 1:30PM as of most people aren't trying to run there on their break. The wait is at least 20 minutes on a good. They understaffed and inefficient!! I am changing my pharmacy ASAP.

Pharmacy has consistent significant time delays. A script sent 2 days prior was still not made ready for pick up. Drive through usually has long waits. Space has been clean every time I have had to visit and polite staff.

This is the worst CVS pharmacy in the state of NJ. One of the pharmacists, Vivek Shah, had the audacity to tell me he was unwilling to call my Dr regarding their own screw-up of my Rx. Then when my Dr did call in after 4 times, Vivek the Paltry Excuse of a Pharmacist laughed at my doctor and hung up in him. I called in a complaint to Regional CVS MANAGER.They lose prescriptions, send erroneous text messages, do not process refills, claim they never received orders, wait times through the roof, and you can NEVER get through the customer line to speak with a staff member. I have been on hold for days at an hour or more at a time.

The pharmacy staff lacks customer service skills. Their telephone refill system is a joke my prescription was not filled but lost. The staff is rude claiming any issues are NOT their fault and are unwilling to provide additional assistance when needed, they could use some training in customer service skills.

Pharmacy store itself is very decent since after they renovated the store space...but the pharmacy itself is very slow when processing their customer prescription requests. They also don't answer phone calls throughout the day. Very hard when you have to get in touch with a pharmacist, so as to address an issue prior to going there and waiting on the long lines.

I always have issues refilling my prescriptions here. The most recent pharmacist wasn’t very helpful. She rushed my call, I was trying to make sure my meds were on auto refill and that she had the correct number for my drs office, she tells me it’s on auto refill but I’m telling her it’s not bc I always have to call my dr for it. She put me on hold and never came back. I had to call customer service to get my help. The man on the phone was very helpful. He let me know I wasn’t set up for auto refill when I was told I was. Smh. The day before I had issues with my medication when I went to pick up. I refilled them all on the website a week and half prior. I got no alerts. I went to pick them up and only one was ready and it was the wrong amount of medication and dosage. I let the staff know that I had two other medications she looked at the computer then told me they called the office but no one picked up. That’s always the issue. They call and no one answers. But whenever I call myself they pick up and put it right thru. So I called my drs office yesterday, the receptionist knows me well she said they never called, put a fax thru or sent it in electronically. I’m thinking it’s my drs office that’s creating the issue and it’s not. I never get alerts when my medication is ready. I let them know that. They confirm number and then nothing. They don’t even call my phone. My number is in the system I should at least get a call if I’m not getting texts.

Poorly organized Pharmacy. On three consecutive 90-day refills (not a small bag), I would get a message that it was ready for pick-up and end up waiting for 10-15 minutes because they could not find it until three different staff had gotten involved. Then I tried a more simple approach but that back-fired - I received a call from staff saying “we don’t stock that”. Leaving me to have to prompt her into a more service oriented approach by saying, and asking, “I don’t understand your communication, are you telling me to take my prescription somewhere else?” No, no, I need to know what you want to do - me: I don’t know what I want to do because you have given me any options... gee whiz kids. Deplorable.

They were supposed to fill a time sensitive script sent over from the urgent care next door. I was told it would take a few minutes. I went all the way to Hackensack to run an errand before hand to give them time to fill it, but when I came in it STILL wasn't ready. Judging by the rest of the reviews this is a common occurrence here. You should at least pretend to care about your customers time. This is the last time I'm going to visit this location.

Auto refills without authorization. They kept texting to set up for auto refills but I never replied because I was interested. It seems that they decided on their one!!!! Friday I got a message that I had a prescription ready, I had to call to cancel and say that I will refill it when I’m ready. I still have not finished the ones I have. Today, Sunday, another text msg saying another prescription ready!!! Seriously 😳 omg! Had to call again and say the same again! Decided to leave this review, maybe they will learn better in writing ✍️!

I was having a nightmare of an evening. I had food on the stove, making chili and couldn’t find my can opener. After feverishly looking for 20 mins I decided to go to Whole Foods and just buy one. Of course when I get there they’re sold out. I had 7 minutes to get to Kmart before it closed, which was 7 minutes away. I run in the door, grab the can opener and the manager refused to ring me up, even though I witnessed her ring up other people. I left feeling so frustrated ans defeated. Knowing my night couldn’t get any worse I decided to try CVS, which I knew closed 10 minutes before I got there. When I arrived I was greeted by a nice older employee named Benny. He was kind, willing to listen and most importantly, wanted to help. He quickly sold me a can opener and saved the day. Benny, THANK YOU. Pretty sure I would of gone to bed hungry if not for your help and understanding. Not all hero’s wear capes on Monday nights :-D
