I love this place every time I go there Marino helps me out with my budgies. He gives the best advice. He taught me how to get my budgies to trust me and to play with me. He even figured out why one of my budgies wasn’t flying treated the problem and now my budgie is flying again. What a great person he is. He really loves birds and it shows the way he treats his customers. Wish I could give this place 20 stars for excellent customer service. This place is blessed. Thank u Marino for all your help .

Pete’s Bird Garden is more affordable to get a bird food than going buying expensive big bag of bird food at Shop Rite and Walmart. I always needed for my parakeets and cockatiel.

I got my female cockatiel in Pete’ store. Female cockatiel doesn’t make much noise if you prefer a quiet environment . I am going to get a male cockatiel from Pete this weekend. Pete is a responsible person that I called him to asked questions many times even though we already got a bird from him. He always willing to answer and help.

Pete is a very pleasant and polite owner of this business. As soon as I stepped into his store, his absolutely delightful feathery friends welcomed us with their chirping and whistling. So many different types of birds! Pete has owned the business for over 40 years! I mean, if that doesn't convince you that this man is trustworthy then I don't know what else. The store was simple, nothing aesthetic about it. However, Pete's expertise is what impresses you. Pete was approachable, attentive, and eager to share his knowledge and suggestions. I also was able to look around, peruse, until I was ready! It was as if Pete was letting the birds introduce themselves to me and my family! We walked out with two parakeets, a bird cage, bird food, and other accessories. (Pete only sells fresh food, by the pound.)Pete also will trim the birds beak, wings and nails if you need that type of service.

This is one bird store which has a lot to offer. I went there one evening 30 minutes before closing,the gentleman inside welcomed me with a lovely smile. I went around to see different species of parakeets,lovebirds,finches,canaries, cockatiels,conures. The birds looked healthy.They also provide birds daycare and if you have nowhere to keep your bird while away for vacation, Pete's, got it for you. Do pay a visit if birds are your friends

There are barely any bird stores in this area so I am forever grateful to have pete’s bird garden. The owner is super knowledgeable and helpful. He even once saved my old cockatiel and didn’t ask for anything in return. I highly recommend coming here to anyone who owns birds. It has a great variety of things to buy.

Went to Pete's Bird Garden for the first time last week and it was an awesome experience. The gentleman at the shop was very knowledgeable and gave me an awesome deal on two diamond doves and a few finches. I will definitely be back again to pick up more birds. His prices were way better than Petsmart and Petco.

Just bought my first cockatiel and I am OBSESSED!!! Marinos, the owner, was extremely accommodating and helped me throughout the entire process. He is very knowledgeable about birds and their needs. My baby cackatiel is happy and thriving. 10/10 recommend shopping here for any future birds, cages, and bird food. Will be coming back!

Every bird in this shop is imprisoned. He doesnt know anything about the birds and will lie to you straight to your face. I bought a cockatiel couple of months ago. He cut his tail to lie to me that he was 8 months old, in reality he was 2-3 years old. His food that he gave me had beetle eggs in it. The cockatiel came sick and depressed even tho he wasnt a pair. He’s comfortable with me and it feels as if i have rescued him from that horrendous owner. He just resells. He has no idea what it takes to have a connection with a bird. The only reason i would recommend this shop is to save the poor birds hes holding captive. His store deserves to be shut down.

My friends is so thankful to have found this business. She has 2 beautiful birds and since Covid hit- she had trouble finding a great place. Luckily, the owner delivered bird food to her. She said both birds love the food!!!!

I purchased a cockatiel from here and it died 2 1/2 weeks later. I was given minimal information on the bird. I was just told to hand feed for two weeks, which I did and the bird passed a few days later after I stopped hand feeding it. I called to tell him and all he could say was I’m sorry and bring the bird to him so he could see how he died. I bonded with the bird and now he’s no longer here. No compensation or anything. Just went somewhere else to purchase a weaned bird. Would not recommend. Does not care about the birds, just the sale. After speaking to professional bird retailers, I was told he shouldn’t have sold it to me at such a young age. I am so heartbroken 💔
