Small town small shopping store. Employees are mix of all as some are nice and some are just sad to be there and work . Store in general is nice clean and always have stocked shelf. They are also open till later than most of others stores around so strongly suggest stop by for groceries and some essentials shopping

Wanted to shout out to the bakery department. We ordered a cupcake cake for my son’s 3rd bday party and had asked that they draw an excavator on it. They went above and beyond!! Such a masterpiece 15/10 recommend

I used to shop online at the Oakland location but the service left alot to be desired. Several months ago I switched to the West Milford location and for the most part, I have been very pleased. My one complaint is, when I leave special instructions, such as the size of an item, they are ignored.

I’d purchase poultry and to my surprise both chickens were spoiled; I returned it to customer service and all they did was refunded the cost of the chicken.I was truly disappointed that I’d traveled 30 minutes twice loosing time and they didn’t even compensate me for lack of making sure spoiled products are not being stocked for customers to have such bad experiences.

Thid Shoprite has been recently remodeled and is huge. Large selection of everything. Only one Express checkout lane when I visited and about 10 people in line. For a store this busy they could use more help.

For some reason, the West Milford, NJ Shoprite does not provide a discount day to seniors.The Warwick, NY Shoprite gives a 5% discount to seniors all day Wednesday and with the current food prices, this additional saving helps!Is there any consideration for seniors discount?

Shop from home came with both rot in the veg, and a thumbhole. Most things "out of stock" found within seconds. Fix your stuff guys. Get some standards and then hold yourself to them.

Update 1/29/2024 yogurt boght today is akready rancid.... didnt notice in store clearly puffed lidran into grab presliced cheese an they dont even clean the slicer imbetween products....Update 3/28/23 Again..3 people doing nothing at self check out on maybe 2 other registers open store gets worse and worse.... front end manager useless... its 3 pm and even the worker checking out behind me hates having to shop here...Why are you worse then shoprite in the ghetto...if there was a way to give it negative stars i would...SHOP ANYWHERE ELSE... from the poorly designed parking lot. To insanely long check out lines while at least three workers up fron lean against a wall an tell what line you should be on..... Absolutely worse then before......update7/22God how can a single grocery store be so poorly run and managed.... again 3 front end personnel doing nothing....

Shop Rite as usual is my go to grocery store. Always clean and organized with most things in stock. But.... As with everywhere else the prices have gone way up. Now I spend $300 every time I go and it's just me and two kitties. I feel like all businesses are taking great advantage of what the pandemic has caused which I believe has come full circle. Bad timing for me since I retired a year and a half ago

Big store with a lot of variety, but it is very, very busy most days. The self check outs are pretty aggrevating, they seem to be overly sensitive. I always have to have an associate come over once or twice every week when I shop here. Also, their sushi is terrible. I tried two rolls from it one day, wasn't sure what I was expecting, but I shouldn't have been surprised. Their other departments are good, but their deli doesn't pre-cut enough basic meats and cheeses, so I'm always in line to get basics for sandwiches. Great bakery though. I always grab something when I'm there to snack on.

We Bought Cooked Cleaned 31/40 Shrimp At The Fresh Seafood Counter. Opened It Up The Next Day And It Was Bad. The Shrimp Had A Weird Smell So I Rinsed Them Off Too Then Tasted Them But Still Not Good. Won't Go There Anymore. They Need To Pay Attention To These Products With Proper Rotation.This Should Not Happen.Won't Return Here. Go To Sparta Shoprite. Fresh Food. Great Service.

Large selection. Well labeleld. Helpful staff. Only "problem" is how things are scattered throughout the store. For example, there must be over 18 areas in the store displaying cheeses, and you would have to visit all 18 spots all over the store to comparison-shop each area's selection and prices. Same with most products.

Large supermarket and big checkout area. It's not often I have to wait between the self check out lanes and usually 3 open Registers with staff if that your preference. Great selection of farm to plate options. My go to market in town.

Stopped here on 7/15/22 with my daughter to pick up groceries for her home. Found what we needed in no time and cashier was friendly and helpful (didn't know how to use my "chip" cardWe needed balloons but we arrived to late to get them or even order them7/16/22 arrived back at store to get needed balloons, however, were unable to get all we needed, employee stated she was almost out of helium didn't get shipment she expected day before. Although shopping experience was great, think they could make sure they have helium needed for balloons and maybe have someone who could take an order for the next day.

I arrived at this location just before midnight fulfilling an instacart order and was rudely approached by an associate in which i believe was racist intent. i never experienced disrespect and rudeness from someone like this in all of my 27 years! if you’re black doing instacart, please DON’T accept to go to this location!

Change is hard but the store is better after the remodel. The fresh olives are not as fresh as the Oakland ShopRite, but still a welcome addition.My biggest complaint is the parking lot. I am not exaggerating when I say the original parking lot was the best parking lot that ever existed or ever will exist. It was simple and flat and presented options for how to enter and exit. The new parking lot with all of the curbs put in makes it feel tight and constrictive. Only allows three options for escape. It directs traffic in front of the store where people are entering and exiting. I can never forgive the person who redesigned it. Not until it is restored to it's former glory. I do think the fresh Olives make up for it though. :p

Great Shop-Rite, lots of other convenient shopping nearby as well. Prices were a little high but expected for the location. Drive around, use GPS, this whole area is flooded lands

It is kept pretty clean and always in and out as they have multiple check outs for yourself to do! Easy to find what you need and the people there stay to themselves and talk to each other a lot but if you motion them over or ask for help or just look confused lo they pop up and help you with no attitudes! Great place.

Constantly saying items for curbside orders are out of stock, when they are not. Constantly having items picked incorrectly. Worst location to order curbside pick up from, management needs to step it up.

It’s getting better! Used to be awful and hated shopping there. The produce section has gotten a lot better. They have made the improvements to the inside. Just wish they would keep things in stock better. If you see something selling well common sense is to reorder. Staff is a hit or miss one customer service. Stopped using shop from home because I had to many issues. The parking lot is still disgusting. Definitely needs to be repaved not repaired. The striping is so confusing someone is going to get into an accident.

The remodel has improved this store drastically. They have a lot of new brands and items. The produce section is much larger and fresher. The self checkouts are extremely convenient. My only complaint is that much of the produce is just dumped into random locations so I get the feeling that employee standards are very low. A lot of products around the store are incorrectly stocked making it difficult to find what you're looking for. The employees at customer service are very helpful and friendly but the rest of the staff needs some more training, social skills and a sense of responsibility.

I have been a shop rite shopper for years, I do mostly online shopping. I started going here instead of Oakland about 2 months ago. I love the store, the stock is good, the meat great, clean and bright. I think their pick up could be a little more expansive, two spots? you have to call and let them know you are there? a little weird. My only issue is the customer service counter. Few times that I had to call and they cant' be bothered to do anything. "sorry, I have a line now"........standard answer.

I like them,,especially Pharmacy,,but Produce is sad!! I am sick just got a bag of oranges,,they are OLD,, This has happened before..I like bakery ,but just Not a fan of Produce,,can you fix this??? 5/20/23

Prices HIGH but so are everyone's, I like the people there, good selection fast checkout, seafood lady was awesome 👍😎!
