Recently relocated from CA (SF Bay & L.A. area) to NJ with a pampered Pom and found Ellie’s. What an awesome groomer!Can’t say enough; Ellie was patient, detail oriented and knowledgeable. You can tell she and her staff really care, and take their time to do it right. Our pup is a full sized Pomeranian with lots and lots of long hair (and fur), who can be short on patience. But, Ellie did a beautiful job (down to removing the knots in her undercoat) and our pup came out smiling!In the past we’ve paid a lot more and braved waiting lists for this caliber of service. Ellie’s Grooming is an awesome value and a true local gem. Highly recommended!

When I first bought my dog I brought him to Petco to get his nails cut and the lady ended up cutting them way too low. After that he was terrified to go there or anywhere at that point. Anywhere I brought him he would bite the people or snip at them. I told Ellies the situation and they invited him with open arms. I've gone to Ellies around 6 times now and every time he has gotten better about getting his nails cut. I can officially say that the last time we went he didn't snip or bite at all and was quite comfortable. Thank you to everyone at Ellies Grooming for caring for my lil one and showing him that getting his nails cut doesn't have to be so bad!!!

If you read my previous reviews you will know I lost my dog due to vet negligence. So I am very nervous and untrustworthy of any vet or grooming service.I started using this groomer about 6 months ago and all I can tell you is they're very patient and tolerant and very very gentle. And they cater to my puppies needs. Especially with this dog illness going around I do not trust anybody but I'm very very happy going here especially with Kristina.

Consistently does such a great job with Max, my soft coated wheaten terrier! And they’ve been super helpful with brushing strategies on his trouble spots. They’re the best.

My 60lb dog has seen Ellie twice. Once last year and again this year as she only needs deshed once a year. After the first time we took her, my dog Penny was visibly a happy dog. Since then we have moved 30 mins away and I’ve taken her elsewhere where we had an awful experience with my easy-going pup. We decided to take her back to Ellie’s despite the drive and I can tell you that it is well worth it! She came back to us, well manicured, clean, and DRY (and most importantly very happy!!!). I highly recommend Ellie’s Grooming for their responsiveness, communication, and skills with dogs! Thank you so much for taking care of my best girl Penny ❤️

At another groomer, my puppy Lily had a traumatic first experience. So this time, we tried Ellie who was so patient with Lily, even though Lily was not cooperative. Her cut came out perfect which I'm sure was no small feat for Ellie.

They are wonderful ❤️ if they can wash our crazy furbaby who's cautious timid and does NOT like to be bathed.. they are miracle makers. He's gone back a few times he likes he doesn't hesitate.. then after we take him to their dog park.

Morris the Wonder Dog had his first post-pandemic-lockdown grooming with Ellie's Grooming today. He's a corgi/flat coat black lab mix with lots of floof. What an excellent experience at Ellie's! My pug Lucylu Lulu is one of the hardest to clip her nails and Ellie made it seem extremely easy and gentle! Lucy is 7 years old and has NEVER been comfortable with nail trims until now! Affordable too!

I took my dog Lil Homie there for the first time. I've been doing his grooming for a long time. I was a little nervous leaving him there. He's my service dog and best friend. They were very sweet to him and he came out looking so cute and handsome. Thank you for taking care of my friend. I will see you again when he needs to be groomed. Our pups despises having her nails trimmed. We have tried on our own and had to finally give up. Ellie's grooming was able to take care of her without a problem. Next time I will probably have her bathe her as well. Definitely going back. Very reasonable pricing as well.

1 at time going there.Adopted a new dog who was kind of a mess. Long haired and apparently never groomed. Long story short, he came out a whole lot better looking than when he went in. Night and day! Also loved the car they took, knowing that he was brand new to me and a little traumatized.Definitely bringing him back!

I’ve been a customer of Pequannock feed for years. When we decided to adopt a puppy, we wanted to have her t trimmed, washed and nails clipped. A Spa day :). I had seen Ellie’s operation from previous visits to Pequqnnock feed. So...blindly we tried them.Friendly, attentive, timely, caring, reasonable, that’s my impression. Would I use Ellie again, yes I would. Would I recommend them to friends, again yes I would.If your looking for pet friendly people, doing a service they clearly enjoy doing, this is your place for certain.

They took care of both my fur babies. I have a 11 lb Havanese and over 100 lbs American terrier. I worried that my girl would cause a problem because of her size and it was her first time. It was very quick and easy pick. My babies smelled so good that I can smell how clean they were through the mask.😷
