I took my senior husky mix to Shampoochies for the first time and she left looking like a movie star! She felt so soft and smelled amazing. Normally she is stressed out after any grooming experience but when I came to pick her up she was actually relaxed and smiling! Becky did a great job. We definitely will return and ask for her again!

I’ve had such a great first time experience with Shampoochies! My puppy Charlie looked so beautiful after his haircut and he seemed very happy to be there! I appreciate the fact that they groom the pets in such a quick timely manner, that is something that was very important to us while finding a new groomer! Melissa did an amazing job on Charlie and we can’t wait to bring him back, along with our other dog Duke as well!

Great all around salon for your fur baby. All the employees treat your pet like their own and the level of professionalism is bar none.The owner was able to book my new rescue within a day and the groomer was able to get this little yorkshire terriers coat back to what it should look like. Very very reasonable and service is top notch. Highly recommend.

I just feel a dogs haircut shouldn’t so expensive. If I have to bring my dog somewhere I do pick here. They are very kind. Last haircut was not the best one my dog has had at this salon.

Erin and Sherri are amazing! I picked up Albie (Gizmo), a NYC rescue picked up by animal control a month earlier, on Saturday. On Sunday he spent 5 hours with his glam squad. (They kindly stayed very late to insure his comfort and good looks!) He went in a dirty, smelly, tangled mess in desperate need of some TLC. Erin gave him the royal treatment and helped him through the transformation. He had sticks, stones, and other unidentifiable things tangled in his hair that surely pulled at his skin and was uncomfortable. Erin made him look the part of a little prince. He was so happy with all the Shampoochies employees when he left, I know he will be excited to return for more loving care. As a new dog owner, I discovered that all my anxieties were needless when I picked him up and saw how great he looked and how happy he was. Thank you so much Sherri, Erin and crew!

My toy poodle, Gabriel, does not like to go for grooming. He had very bad experiences with some groomers in other stores. We were referred by a friend whom we met at dog park to Shampoochies about five months ago. After Gabriel's first grooming session at Shampoochies, he showed that he liked his new groomer. He did not rush out of the door when I picked him up. The groomer is very professional. She handles Gabriel gently and makes sure that he has sufficient amount of time to rest during grooming session. The grooming area is clean and there are plenty of room among grooming tables. Staff are very pleasant and always make me feel welcomed and relaxed. The best of all is pets are not kept in cages before or after grooming. They are staying in fenced area individually. It shows that the owner of the store cares for her pet customers as if they were her own. I do not mind to wait for few minutes before served when the store is filled with customers. What I care about is how my Gabriel is being treated and feels more than anything else.

We had our 11 year old Yorkie groomed. Liza does a wonderful job. We trust her with our Yorkie. Nails were trimmed nicely too. One of the best grooming experiences our Yorkie has had, she was happy when I picked her up. Also, I like the fact the grooming process is under 90mins. Very professional... Thank you!

Absolutely thrilled with Shampoochies. It's the kind of place that you just don't see anymore: family owned and operated, friendly and helpful staff that love what they do, exceptional personalized customer service, etc.I love that the pets don't go in cages. Instead they go in personalized stables, which are obviously never stacked on top of each other. The stress level for the dog is drastically reduced because they're not packed in right on top of each other.Finally, and most importantly, they did a fantastic job at a very, very reasonable price, especially compared to what we're used to paying for the "works" grooming. It's hard to shave a pug and make him look good, but Sherry found a way and my grandmother was thrilled with his haircut (and she tends to be very picky).Really can't say enough good things about my experience here. We'll definitely be back, and if you're looking for a great dog groomer, look no further.

Took my dog there for the first time today. My dog is typically very fussy, and does not like to be groomed. At my last few groomers I’ve had my dog come back with long nails and his but untrimmed. Nicole did such an awesome job. His nails and but are so clean, and he smells so great!

I have a very senior long haired chihuahua. He is very fragile and has lots of health issues. I love him to death and was very nervous about leaving him with strangers! Sherri was so kind over the phone and worked hard to make the appointment fit into my work schedule. When I actually arrived to the shop everyone was very kind and Sherri noticed I was nervous and explained exactly what procedures are in place to cater to senior dogs to help me feel more comfortable. The woman who actually groomed my pup came out onto the floor to introduce herself and listened to what I wanted for a bath, cut, etc. the entire staff was so kind, so comforting, and bent over backwards to make sure I had a great experience. I cannot say enough about Shampoochies! The staff is caring and knowledgeable. I bring both of my dogs to be groomed regularly. Lucy always comes out with a perfect cut! My lab is older and has trouble getting up and down. The girls are so wonderful with him and help keep his ears clean which is always a challenge! I know my dogs are well cared for and i never worry when i leave them!I wouldn’t bring them anywhere else!

Really like bringing my dog here and he loves going. He has short hair so he just gets a bath and for the price, something is always missing. Last time I picked him up his ears had not been cleaned so I called and they told me to bring him back and they did it which was fine. This time I had the same thing happen with his ears and all of his nails weren’t trimmed. They do a great job but just wish it was complete! Everyone is very friendly!

Sherrie and her staff are amazing. My dog loves it at Shampoochies and he looks and smells wonderful when leaving the salon. It is a cage free salon and very clean. They have a great variety of dog food and treats. The staff is always so accommodating and pleasant. I highly recommend this salon!

Just got home from my first visit there, and I couldn't be happier. They were absolutely wonderful! All of the staff was friendly and you can tell they truly love dogs. They were great with my 3 year Collie-mix who has separation anxiety. When I wasn't sure what she needed, they were very informative and not pushy at all. I highly recommend going here, especially for anxious dogs. I'll be back for sure!

I have been bringing my two cats to Shampoochies for over a year, they enjoy a "spa" day once a month. Before finding this wonderful groomer I would bring my cats to have only their nails cut and deal with hissing and fighting for hours upon getting home, now I drop them at Shampoochies and they are treated like royalty, they are always happy and content when they come home. This groomer is wonderful, the shop is clean and everyone is friendly, but most importantly the staff genuinely loves animals. If you are looking for an A+ experience for your pet this is the place, I can say that with confidence as I have used several groomers all with disappointing results until a friend recommended Shampoochies.

I have been going to Shampoochies for over a year now and couldn’t be happier. I have a chocolate lab who is a gigantic baby and they have gone out of their way to make him comfortable and help ease his fears. I often see Nicole, who has been so awesome, that he is at a point that he goes right to her happily. This is compared to how he’d cry and bark and try to run away the whole time in the past. We recently adopted a mix and again, Nicole is amazing to her. You can see how much she loves what she does. All the staff is friendly and caring and the owner, Sherri, is very knowledgeable and gives you her time to discuss any skin issues or concerns. A+++

This place was recommended by a couple of my friends after I had a terrible experience at Flo’s Happy Clippers (one of my dogs came back with several cuts/blood on his nose). I was reluctant to try a new place but my dogs were in desperate need of a hair cut. I’m happy to report that my experience with Shampoochies was excellent! Great cut and the dogs are happy (unlike when they would return from Flo’s). I would definitely recommend this place to others!

Absolutely awesome! They also bought Glad Wags in West End, Long Branch. Service is just excellent, they care about our dog as much as I do.
