Beyond grateful for fitting our Bogie in today with a same day grooming appointment. Around 4 am he got sprayed by a skunk, we did our best with the smell but still had it on him. He’s home now relaxing, smells great, nails trimmed thanks to the staff here. Thank you so much and wish I remembered your names.

This PetSmart is always well staffed and well stocked. We buy all of our pet food here as the pricing is good. We use the rewards program and save on future purchases

They always have friendly staff and a good selection. Not often when I go are shelves empty. I can find cat food brands and flavors that aren’t elsewhere. I also rescued a cat from them, as they partner with Voorhees Animal Shelter. It was an easy process, everyone was friendly and helpful. The Petsmart staff took good care of the cats that were there waiting to be adopted. 4 not 5 stars because some things like toys / accessories are pricey.

The employees are kind and the store is clean. My issue is with the conditions of the bettas. Keeping them in cups leads the uninformed to believe they only need a small space to thrive. Selling half gallon tanks marketed for bettas is just as bad. These are tropical fish. They need a filter and a heater in a minimum of 5 gallons. They do not live in puddles in the wild as many are led to believe. Google an image of a rice paddy and you will see that they actually live in quite large bodies of water with lots of vegetation. I don't blame the employees. It's just a job for them and they probably don't get paid enough to do it. This mostly comes from a corporate level, but management must have some control. Some Petsmarts and Petcos across the country are doing better by putting their bettas in 5 gallon filtered and heated tanks. Some are putting the more mellow ones in tanks with other peaceful fish. Others have devoted a whole section to bettas in individual tanks. Managers: do research and do better! About 50% of the bettas here have fin rot of varying severity. You can usually tell which have been in the store longest because their cups are cloudy and they are lethargic. Most have dull coloring from being stressed and cold. They frequently have mislabeled bettas. I saw one today labeled a dragon scale. It was not a dragon scale, however, and had the worst stress stripes I've ever seen. That fish will die in his cup because no one will buy a dull gray looking betta. Historically, this store will discount a sick betta if you ask. Some should really be free to those willing to treat the health condition, but I realize that's a corporate issue. The last one I purchased at a discount due to obvious illness has permanent swim bladder disease. I put together an accessible tank for him and he is happy and healthy otherwise. Several months ago, I saw one that was clearly unwell. I asked them to give him to me for free to attempt treatment because I was skeptical he'd make it through the night. I was told they are unable to give them for free but could discount. I watched it take its last breath before the employee could even make it to the manager for approval. To sum it up, keeping bettas in unheated tiny cups is animal cruelty. Selling sick bettas is unethical. I pray that management will either educate themselves and do something to better the conditions of the bettas or that they will be replaced by new managers that will.

Bought a fish tank for my son. Set the tank up. Tested the water the next day and all levels were perfect. My wife took my son back to get the fish he wanted and the man that runs that section refused the sale bc he remembered us from the previous day. He said the water was not ready yet. I'm sorry I forgot you were in my house when I tested the water. Will not go back. Store looks ghetto anyways.

Went in today to have a nail trim and grind for my pup. They were all understandably busy. Seemed like everyone was having a bad day. Awkward silence. I ask if I should come back tomorrow morning. I was told 15 or twenty minutes from a tall, heavy set young lady with an attitude. She said she would page me overhead when ready and ask my dogs name. I watched her walk in and out of the grooming area. No one called for us. I waited in the store for 1 hour before purchasing my own trimmers and leaving.

Waited 45 minutes to try and get my eight-year-old a hamster ended up, leaving without a hamster because of rude employees who were walking around doing nothing after asking three different people for help just save yourself the aggravation and go to any other pet store.

This is a large PetSmart with a grooming area, on site veterinary clinic, pet hotel, and an organized adoption center. There are always training classes and special events just make sure you check the website first for the updated information. Pets are welcome here so, bring your fur baby in for a special treat!

Took my dog in to get groomed. The grooming staff are all very nice and seem like they genuinely care about the animals. They even know some of them by name, because they're brought there frequently enough. I'll be taking my dog back to get groomed.

Great training staff on hand for pups, usually have good sales on most dog food brands. They even have a great selection of dog treats and leashes/harnesses. Pretty good selection of bird toys and foods/treats. I can usually grab everything I need in one trip

Went in to get ID tag for my dog. Paid 10.99 for tag and engraving free while you watch at machine. Not bad. There were o ly 2 tags large enough to include dog name and phone number and no girl colors. Wanted pink or purple and ended up with red. Was either red or black.

PetSmart Berlin's grooming salon is a bit outdated and crowded but the dogs don't seem to care. The groomers are nice and treat the dogs very well and try to keep them calm and happy. My dog always looks cute when she's all finished.

I take my pups here for grooming and training. First, I took my dog to Lawnside to get groomed because I had been using a girl who’s no longer there. Someone else did him and it was absolutely horrible. I called Berlin and they said bring him in. Erin took care of him and did amazing!!! That’s who he’s been seeing since. John who does the training is also amazing!! He takes him time with the dogs and Georgie has made great progress since starting. They have a great team over there! & I’d highly recommend.

Associates were polite and helpful. Store was clean and well stocked. Was able to find guinea pig food, scoopable cat litter and dog treats for great prices in the clearance section. Bought two reasonably priced flea collars as well. Pet smart always has what I need for my pets when I need it. We have many different pets (turtle, large aquarium with fish, guinea pigs and cats) and I can count on PetSmart to have everything to keep our pets happy and healthy. I love being a member of the Pets Perks club because my points add up quick and I get money off my purchases frequently!
