Wish this shop was closer to home. I drove two hours from north Jersey to pick up a bike that was pretty much out of stock everywhere. Rich was able to help me out over the phone before visiting and got me on the best bike for me. He and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable of their inventory. Walking into the store, I was surprised at how well they were stocked with bikes and accessories. Visiting the shop confirmed why they have such amazing reviews!! Thanks for a great experience!

Great bikes, better service. I called maybe a dozen bike shops looking for the one. The model/size/color i wanted was sold out everywhere. Jim was very helpful in double checking with the manufacturer’s rep and called me back once the bike was restocked. Action wheels has been around for such a long time and I believe it's because of there hospitality and knowledge of bicycles. Since I was a child, I have always loved stopping into the shop for my bike needs because they always took care of anything I needed. From purchasing bikes at a young age to now going up there for tubes, grips, pedals, tools, tune ups, and just a nostalgic feeling. They have provided some of the best service and quality of bikes I have ever known to have at a bike shop. Thank you action wheels for all that you do in the bicycle community.

We recently purchases two bikes from Action Wheels and went back in today to have one tuned up and look at some gear. Everyone at the shop is super friendly and knowledgeable- I never get the sense that I'm being spoken down to despite being a complete novice when it comes to cycling.Whether it's getting fitted for your new frame, questions on pedals, or regular (and irregular) maintenance- you can be confident the folks at Action Wheels have you covered!We make a point to come back and support the store over buying online because this is the kind of local business we want to see thrive. Great staff and great service. I took my bike to this shop for the full overhaul tune-up. They also put on new tires and handlebar grip tape. It feels like a new bike :) I will definitely be going back for future bike needs. Highly recommended.

Update 4/10/22Brought two bikes to get service and these folks doing a great job. Thanks for the great work.Recently purchased a new bike and the seat that came with it was lacking the support and comfort. Action Wheels steered me in the right direction with a much more comfortable seat. I was able to ride longer than 5 minutes without the pain. I definitely recommend these folks for your bike needs.. Very knowledgeable, kind and pleasant.

This place is absolutely amazing. I had been looking for a hybrid bike for months, and just couldn’t find the right size or color I wanted. They were so helpful! One of the owners said he’d build one of the bikes for me to try out, with no obligation to buy. I came back and sure enough it was PERFECT. They not only made great suggestions on the height of the seat (which I would have set much lower) but also took one of the bikes in the shop and rode around with me giving me tips. Can’t say enough good things about this place! And I love that they are family owned and have been around forever!

Just recently purchased a high-end gravel bike from here and the customer service was exceptional! Very responsive via email and phone. Took care of a tubeless setup issue I was having at no charge, and overall just treated me well.Not to mention they have a great selection of bikes and components that is accurately reflected on your online store.If you’re in the market for any type of bike you should check them out!

I brought my son's bike in for some repairs on the brakes. They fixed it right away and went the extra step and checked the rest of the bike making adjustments to make sure the bike was safe for my son to ride it. The price for the work was great and I will definitely return here in the future for any other bike repairs. The people working there are great and extremely friendly! I Highly recommend this bike shop!

This is the best place to buy a bike within 100 miles even if you live in New York, Pennsylvania or Delaware. They were the only place I know of that had bikes in stock during the pandemic. It's the family owned business and they are very knowledgeable. Don't waste your time guessing what bike to buy or settling for something you found on online and trying to return. He will be very happy with your purchase at Action Wheels.

I visited 4-5 bike shops with negative results before hitting Action Wheels. WOW...I was so upset with myself for not going there first. I walked in and they had exactly what I was looking for. The staff was pleasant, inviting and well informed. The payment options made for smooth purchase. I’m so excited to really get out ride my new bike. Drove roughly 2 hours to buy a specific bike from this shop as stock is very limited everywhere. Not only did they hold the bike for me until I arrived, but they were more than willing to assist and answer any questions I had regarding my purchase even though I had gotten there minutes before closing. My main take away from my brief experience at this shop was, that when I was looking at some other less expensive items to purchase(a hat, and a tshirt) the gentleman suggested I purchase them at my local bike shop. Not because he didn’t want to sell them to me but because he wants me to support my local shop as well. As someone who works for a small business I couldn’t appreciate and respect that any more than I do. These are great people.

As a brand new cyclist I was looking to purchase my first road bike and also happen to be very tall..action wheels was the first place I had found with a 64cm frame. The staff was very helpful in sizing me and adjusting the bike and giving me options to pay alittle money on the bike each month for a few months. I took my bike there last week because it had two flats and had not been used in a few years. I asked if they would fix the flats or replace the tires and go over the bike to make sure it was in good running order. Went back to pick it up today. The tires were filled and the said it was in good running order. I said great how much and was told nothing. Nothing but you checked it out and filled the tires. Still nothing it did not need any service. OMG! Could not believe I but it was true. I will be going back for anything I need and definitely telling all the friends I have to go there.
